[BF Comms] Battlefield Hardline on consoles

On Friday, May 22nd, Battlefield Hardline on Xbox One and PlayStation®4 will be removed from digital storefronts, and you will no longer be able to purchase it and all extra related content, such as DLC.

Online services on these platforms will end on Monday, June 22nd. While Hardline will no longer support online functionality on Xbox One and PlayStation®4, players who own the game will still be able to play the single-player component.

Please note: Today’s update does not impact PC. Battlefield Hardline on PC will remain available, including online services.

    How it feels to 5 days ago: "11th anniversary post"

    5 days later: "we're announcing we are shutting down the servers on PS4/Xbox One"

    Bruh at this point just leave them on. Y'all already took my BF3 platinum to the grave when you closed in 2024. Also it's very stupid to be honest to do this lol. For example same thing happened with Skate 2 in 2021. The same day it was announced that was being added to Xbox One backwards compatibility, it was said "On November 2021 we will sunset Skate 2 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360" leaving practically the Backwards Compatibility version with a dead online mode.

     

    Also: WHY BF Hardline  specifically and not like also adding BF4? Oh yeah, it's because the player base on this game it's not enough or that the studio who developed the game no longer exists (Visceral Games)? Jesus what a hypocrisy.

    At this point just leave them on. What? NFS 2015 is next? Well, just listen to the community for once, for Christ's sake. We've also been trying you to keep Garden Warfare alive on Ps3 (because it's stupid to shut it down only on that platform). EA should stop killing their games like they want to. Seriously.
    Y'all better reconsider🤦‍♂️

    Fix your current game [Edit - CM], still can't join servers with no response from anyone at EA. I'm not the only one and it has been ongoing for nearly 6 months do the jobs you get paid for with the money you gouge from your player base.

    Why is this error appearing and not allowing me to even enter the game? Can't even open to play single player for more information check your other forums. There you will see a discussion thread that has been viewed over 120 times and yet not a single response from EA.

    Are there any chances of the "test your mettle" trophy being obtainable again? Can you guys fix this? It's the last thing I need to 100% the game.

    Couldnt you at least reactivate competitive mode for the last three months so its possible to earn all trophies before the game shuts down?

    Please get competitive mode running so newer players can 100% the game. It would make a lot of players happy, as I see people talking about it on Steam frequently.
