[INFO] Why can't I use some attachments even after the weapon has been unlocked?

Hey everyone, I’ve seen a few posts about players not being able to equip attachments even though they look unlocked, or they have attachments unlocked in the game — this might help!

If you're using a special Weapon Package version of a gun, it's one of the pre-built variants with a unique look, and it comes with a fixed set of attachments. These don't carry over to the base/factory version and aren't freely swappable.

To actually unlock and equip attachments on any setup, you’ll need to unlock the weapon’s standard factory version through progress or assignments and level it up through use. As you progress, the attachments will become available to customize however you like.
