FC MOBILE R4 PATCH NOTES - SEPTEMBER 2024
Join us in celebrating the 1st Anniversary of EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile! This special update marks another exciting year of football with us, and we’re delighted to share the enhancements and new features that will enrich your gaming experience. There will be no season reset this year, allowing you to continue building on your current team’s progress and achievements. From the Football Centre—a brand-new hub connecting you to the pulse of real-world football—to the thrilling Club Challenge with top leagues like LALIGA EA SPORTS and the Premier League, the Anniversary update is packed with opportunities to deepen your engagement with the game.
To streamline your team management, we've enhanced the Player Inventory system with better navigation and more intuitive filtering options.

NEW FEATURES
FOOTBALL CENTRE
Our Anniversary Update introduces the Football Centre, which allows you to engage with real-world football more deeply through features like Team of the Week (TOTW), Player of the Month (POTM), and Moments Players. It also includes the opportunity to participate in featured matches that mirror current real-world football events.
PRE-RANKED PLAYER ITEMS
Pre-Ranked Players are back! This means that you can earn Player Items with Ranks and Levels already equipped, meaning you don’t need to use as many Training Levels or Rank-Ups on them. You can expect to see Pre-Ranked Player Items in Exchanges, Packs, and Milestone Rewards within Events.
CHANGE USERNAME
You’ve asked, and we’ve listened! With our Anniversary Update, we're excited to introduce the much-requested User Renaming feature. You’ll be able to change your username one time after the Anniversary Update goes live. Make sure to choose carefully, as for any additional name changes, it will only be available monthly within an offer in the Store.

CLUB CHALLENGE
Club Challenge is a dynamic new PvP mode where the essence of real-world football comes alive. Play as your favorite teams from LALIGA EA SPORTS and the Premier League, controlling actual lineups in thrilling, real-time matches. Experience the fervor of leading teams like Real Madrid or Manchester City through intense knockout tournaments.
Each match brings the excitement of a live broadcast right to your fingertips, complete with authentic commentary, team walkouts, and the electric atmosphere of stadium games. Win to keep progressing and earning more rewards for your Ultimate Team!
GAMEPLAY ENHANCEMENTS
Over the past few months, we’ve taken your feedback to heart, pinpointing some of the most pressing gameplay enhancements to make this release one of our most exciting yet.
- AI Difficulty Divergence: Notice distinct differences between AI difficulty levels, with enhanced challenges on Professional, World Class, and especially Legendary settings.
- Manager Mode Passing: Ground through pass reliability and accuracy have been improved, ensuring your strategic passing plays come off more smoothly.
IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES
This update brings a series of quality-of-life enhancements designed to elevate your gameplay experience:
- Featured Crests in Locker Room: A new "Featured Crests" section has been added to the HOME TEAM selection in the LOCKER ROOM. This feature allows you to quickly identify and select your main team by showcasing top team crests.
- Improved Usability in Player Inventory: The interface will now remain on the recently selected player in Player Inventory instead of defaulting back to the first player, enhancing navigation and efficiency.
- Filtering Capability Added: We’ve added more filter conditions in the TRAINING, EXCHANGE, and TRANSFER MARKET to help you easily spot which players are tradable and which aren’t.. Now, managing your lineup and making smart moves is faster than ever!
BUG FIXES
- Player Inventory Navigation: The interface will now remain on the recently selected player in Player Inventory instead of defaulting back to the first player, enhancing navigation and efficiency.
- Campaign Chapter Navigation: We fixed an issue where you would be brought to the first chapter of an event when moving between event chapters. Now you can move between campaign chapters without being redirected to the first chapter, for smoother progression.
- Enhanced Stability: We’ve tackled some pesky bugs that were interrupting your gameplay on Android and Apple devices. Thanks to your reports, we've improved stability to ensure your experience is better than ever.
