Important information ahead of loading up F1® 25 for the first time

Hey racers,

We know you're all excited to get your hands on the game - we can't wait to see what you think.

In early testing, we have identified that the vast majority of game crashes on PC are resolved by making sure that graphics drivers are up to date.

So that you have the best possible experience playing the game from lights-out, we recommend making sure this is the case before you load up F1® 25 for the first time.

If you are unsure how to update your drivers, please follow this guide on EA Help

If you have any other technical support issues, please be sure to share them on our dedicated Technical Issues & Bug Reports page where a member of our team will be able to help you quickly.

Thank you and happy racing!

the game is crashing a lot friends - I am running a RX 9070 XT with up-to-date drivers, same version as in this article (Adrenalin Edition 25.5.1). In a play session of 3 hours I had to restart the game 18 times. No corrupted files surprisingly.
    Crashes have occurred either when:
    - in a race
    - in menus
    - "returning to garage" in TT or practice sessions
    - the moment traction is lost on track (beginning to spin)
    - right at the end or beginning of cutscenes in Braking Point

I am a patient man but after today's session I cannot say it's worth my time anymore to turn this on - it is simply going to crash. No issues with F1 24 and other games on the same machine.
This is game breaking, a fix is needed ASAP

hey all, a friendly F1 enthusiast in a discord pointed me to this driver patch. It seems to fix the FSR issue AS WELL as the crashes - I have only had 30 minutes time to test but have had no crashes since installing this driver patch (if you are on AMD).
    Give it a shot
