Plants vs Zombies is turning 16 today!

While the sweet 16 is great, whats greater is a garden warfare 2 update or a garden warfare 3 for the celebration of a whopping 16 whole years of this stunning franchise. Have a look at this forum to see how passionate the plants vs zombies community is for either an update or a Garden Warfare 3.

Man, PvZ is my everything! I've played it pretty much since it came out, grew up with it, and made it who I am in the vast internet. I remember writing down in my notebook all of my ideas for PvZ2 plants for new worlds I hoped to see added in the future, and felt super proud of myself for almost perfectly predicting the Jurassic Marsh world! Low-hanging fruit, I know, but I felt good about myself then. Since, I have turned a fun project into what people know me as "the GW3 ideas guy" on YouTube, and have continued to flourish. I have no intention to give up on this franchise just yet!

When it comes to answering your questions:

My first core PvZ memory has to be beating Zomboss for the first time in PvZ1, only tp have the realization that you can play the entire adventure AGAIN!

My favourite game has to be GW2. It is easily one of the greatest games of all time, sporting an outstanding roster of 121 characters, endless replayability, and the backyard has so much charm to it that I could write essays on how it's so great. Still seeing full lobbies after almost ten years goes to show how it still has the potential to keep going.

My favourite character in the franchise? It's Twilight Chomper! I'm not called "Twilight Chomper Enthusiast" for nothing! I love being able to speed around the map, and teleport behind unsuspecting Zombie players. May not be the best character in the game, but easily one of the most fun.

My favourite interaction with other players, I have two of them. One of which is with TheN00dle_110, where we came up with the phrase in BFN "when in doubt, jump in cheese!" where you do exactly that. The other had to be in the second GW2 YouTuber Collab, where I got to meet so many amazing people who all love GW2 as much as I do! Even when I was more or less called crazy when I made an ecstatic project talking about how there was a glimmer of hope for the game to be brought back.

Do I own any PvZ Merch? Oh, DO I? I have soooo many PvZ plushies, all of the PvZ comics, both the hard cover ones, as well as the paperbacks when they were released monthly at comic shops! I also have a ton of PvZ-brand games like Yahtzee, Monopoly, and Risk! You can never have too much!

My funniest memory was when I was playing GW2 in its early days, and I experienced its amazing ragdoll physics for the first time. When my character blew up to an unfortunate Bean Bomb, something happened which caused my vanquished body to go mach-10 in to the sky. I remember just sitting there, laughing until the time ran out and I auto-respawned. By then my character still hadn't hit the ground, and I was approaching the ground like a meteorite. I believe that also helped shape my overall sense of humour.

Anything else? I could keep going on, but then I'd be writing this for hours. Although I do want to give a word of warning, as posting this no doubt is opening the floodgates for several superfans who want nothing less than GW3 to be made! I certainly would love to see it, but expect to see it a lot!

my greatest memory was on gw2 xbox finding some people in a lobby and just playing for hours with them, really fun.

PVZ is my favourite franchise of all time, and i’m honoured to be a part of the community surrounding it. My fondest pvz memory would be either be me and my older cousin beating the first game on the xbox 360 on co cop mode, or the same cousin and i 1v1ing in gw2’s backyard battleground. My favourite characters are either the chomper, cactus, fume shroom, puff shroom, scaredy shroom or gloom shroom. my favourite game is 100% GW2. 

Garden Warfare 2 has been and still is one of the most fun I have ever had in the world of PvZ. The fact that so many people still play it to this day makes me so happy because it means so many others share the same passion that I do! You don't have to search long to see how massive of a fanbase there is for the game still, and how they would do almost anything for an update or a new pvz shooter game! We all want to do what we can to spread the joy gw2 has brought to us and I can assure you we ALL want you guys to do the same!

What is your first memory of Plants vs Zombies? I remember being introduced to the franchise by my grandmother on the Nintendo DS and it was love at first sight for me. Months later, I got a DS for my birthday with a copy of Plants vs Zombies and played the game for the next few years before the other games came out.

What is your favorite Plants vs Zombies game? Garden Warfare 2 is my most favorite game in the franchise due to the amount of content the game has, and even more that's currently unavailable (like mystery portal events and community challenges).

What is your favorite character of the whole franchise? Huge Gigantacus from PvZ Heroes is my favorite character, due to how fun he is to play in PvZ Heroes and how unique his design is. It's quite a shame that he never made any other appearances in other official PvZ content.

What was your favorite interaction with other players? Playing Garden Warfare 2 with other YouTubers. All thanks to Deggy, who arranged for several YouTubers - big and small - to play the game privately on vacant lobbies and have fun together. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I don't know if I'll ever see again, but I'm eternally grateful to have been involved with it as it was a dream of mine when I was a kid.

Do you own any Plants vs Zombies merch? I owned plushies and a few action figures, but I inevitably lost or broke them. Which is very unfortunate.

What is your funniest or best memory? It's hard to dig deep into recalling anything particularly funny that wasn't the GW2 YouTuber collaboration, but I do have some laughs playing GW1 and GW2 regularly and laughing at some of the things players do. 

Anything else to share? Many people have said this, and probably will say it on here, but I'll try to be civil about it. I would love nothing more than a GW2 update, or at least something different to be added to it like changing the mystery portal's current rotation and swapping the unfun game-modes with all of the fan favorites and game modes that are worth achievements. As well as small things like recycling community challenges (if that's even doable) and fixing Rux's broken rotation by allowing him to sell the old items he used to sell before the 2022 update meddled with his schedule. That's really all I desire in the PvZ franchise, as I've grown to be content with everything else in other games. But if we were to get a new console PvZ game like the shooters, then I would be all for it (even though it may not be likely). PvZ is a franchise that I cherish for bringing in so many pleasant memories and experiences in my life, that I can never turn my back on it. I think the entire community would agree that we all want PvZ to get back on its feet again.

Otherwise, myself and a few other people will continue to be kicking grass in this franchise.

Plants vs. Zombies (PvZ) is one of my all-time favorite franchises. Garden Warfare 2 was my favorite game in the entire series — it was incredibly fun, especially when playing with friends on console. I even own some merch, like the Z7 Grass Effect Imp.

It would be amazing if Garden Warfare 2 received updates again, because many players — including myself — still love the game and continue to play it to this day.

I truly hope this franchise never ends.

I'm quite young, but i've been playing since PVZ GW2 came out, and I have very fond memories of playing it on my Xbox. Now, after 9 years, im finally back on it. I would love an update or even just some new town hall events at the very least! 

1. My first memory, I remember riding the bus as a kid and hearing a bunch of other kids who’s parents let them bring phones playing a really fun looking game it was the first one. I played the game as soon as I could on my moms tablet, those were the days.
2. Im definitely team console from playing pvz1 on mobile to computer feels so much better and I love playing gw2 on PC despite the modding problem speaking of GW2 it was easily my favorite though I love the ideas pvz2 brought. Overtime I liked it less and less.
3. My favorite character is Zomboss I like how evil he is and I like the zombies a lot in general also thought they were cool.
4. I don’t really remember honestly but I remember back then me and some other dude in graveyard ops beat hard mode solo we were great online friends for a while until he never got online again.
5. I own the youtooz sunflower and some comics. I also have unofficial zombie plushes.
6. My best memory is playing pvz2 in its prime it was my favorite for a while until leveling was added. Though I do play Reflourished now and love it. It wouldn’t exist with out pvz2 to begin with so thank you
7. I don’t got much else to share other than thanks for showing up it really means a lot after what feels like forever of not having much pvz related content besides mods (which are great but still).
