Plants vs Zombies is turning 16 today!

My BEST Memory of pvz has got to be playing split screen with my brother on gw2 years ago, Or  unlocking toxic brainz because his legendary meter is broken

Some of my fondest memories EVER are playing the garden warfare games with my friends and to this day still a large community of players for this game including me if popcap were to ever touch this game again it would be great if they just added community challenges and the other game modes back into the mystery portal rotation.

Before, being just a cell phone user, I only played mobile games. However, there was something strange...on YouTube I saw several of my favorite YouTubers posting videos playing PVZ GW1 and GW2 NON-STOP. Being silly like any other child, I asked myself, "HOW ARE THEY PLAYING THIS!?!"

I spent days and nights searching.

After a few years of sadness and fun, I was given a PS3 (at the time, I didn't even know that video games existed).

I fell in love with the video game and guess what the first thing I did in the store was PLANTS VS ZOMBIES GARDEN WARFARE.

That was my first search, and incredibly, to my delight as a child, it worked! I got goosebumps and my intellectual capacity increased by 90% at that moment. I got the game as a gift. Wow, I loved it. I fell in love with it like I've never been with a game/movie franchise. I spent 3 years playing the game non-stop, and I never got tired of it! Even my parents learned to hum the game's songs.

But there was still something strange that bothered me:

"WHERE'S THE CORN, ROSE AND THE CITRINATOR! AND THE OTHER MAPS AND MODES!"

 At that moment I had a huge freak out, REALLY BIG. Until...hm..."and if I search on Google"

I realized that the game was only for new generation video games, in this case the PS4. At that moment I cried, cried, cried like never before in my life, I assure you all. My parents thought I was depressed until

A few more years later! I got a PS4 in 2022 and again the first thing I did in the store... PLANTS VS ZOMBIES GARDEN WARFARE 2... huh? ...Plants vs Zombies battle for neighborvile? "What the hell kind of game is this?"

I got both as a gift and again FREAKED OUT WITH JOY, I got really addicted and happy with Gw2, I'm still playing it today... but I got there late. Unfortunately, at that time, the game had already stopped receiving updates. I was very sad to know that the game I fought for, cried for, and drove my parents crazy for simply no longer receives updates, and PVZ Neighborville didn't please me much. AND IT ALSO DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY MORE UPDATES.

It gave me an immense and inexplicable pain in my chest. I seriously feel this pain to this day when I remember it... even remembering it while I'm writing this in the middle of the night.

And the pain increases even more when I think that we, the PVZ community, haven't received any more games, any updates for the game we love, and we've even received a statement that there will be no more content about these online shooter-style games.

_Who is my favorite character in the entire franchise?_Peashoter is my favorite character! He's the character we start with in every PVZ game! And he's also very iconic.

_What was my favorite interaction with players in the franchise?_ It was in PvZ Gw1 and Gw2 

_Do you have any Plants vs Zombies merchandise?_  yes! I have a cute Sunflower. 

_What is your best memory?_ Honestly, my best memory comes from playing GW2, if you read the 2nd topic you will understand why. 

I hope someone reads this, not only me but many people dedicated time AGAIN to this franchise, seriously... what kind of community are we, huh? 

I think Chess 2 will come out before anything BIG new for this franchise...

Pvz is hands down my favorite franchise because of its unique and goofy characters with a great gameplay and the best part pretty much everyone i met or seen in pvzgw or pvzgw2 were great and kind people ence a healthy and rare type of community which makes enjoying the multiplayer games even more fun !

but my favorite memory was in pvzgw2 in a custom match with my friends with all the crazy modifyers and we did 2v2s its was great anyways it was in the garden and graveyard mode in seed of time at the final stretch at the castle i was toxic citron i used the canon and glided through the entire course thanks to the low gravity and at the same time obliterating my friends with the toxicity killing them instantly cuz they all had 1hp and because of that we had the rule of not playing toxic characters. 
ahh its was great times indeed im rooting for a pvzgw2 updates with maybe crossplay? But it should be optional because of the hackers in pc. 

Update Garden Warfare 2, such a good game.

I love PvZ, and have never since I got the original game on Steam all those years ago. I'm a bit late for this, but wanted to jump in since I love PvZ.

What is your first memory of Plants vs. Zombies?  Playing through the original game's campaign/story mode. It was a great time, and loved the idea and look of the game.

What is your favorite Plants vs. Zombie games? Garden Warfare 2 hands down. Over 3k hours with it and still playing on my PC.

What is your favorite character of the entire franchise? There's so many to choose from, but it has to be Crazy Dave at the end of the day. 

What was your favorite interaction with other players? Playing GW2 every day with some close friends back in its heyday. Lots of time messaging about in the backyard battleground, running Ops, and jumping into online matches.

Do you own any Plants vs. Zombie merch?  I have the art book, the Risk game, a couple of shirts, and the original Garden Warfare guide book.

What is your funniest or best memory?  A classic here. We were playing online when a zombie on our team hit a potato mine and was vanquished. I revived him, and he immediately ran into another potato mine and was vanquished again. 

Anything else to share?  I haven't been hanging out in the forums like I used to, but I still would like to see a GW3. The GW games have long been among my favorites, and we need a new PvZ shooter. It's been too long since BfN was left in maintenance mode, and it never did live up to the GW games before it. I was eager to see more after Zack Scott starting making videos for the game again earlier this year, but the lack of any kind of news on a new shooter is disheartening. There's a lot of love for PvZ, and a new shooter is long overdue.

...indeed, apart from those still playing regularly there must many dormant seeds 'n' bones who gave up a bit after BfN just waiting to be watered 'n' dug up...c'mon GW3 you'll be a certified hit record.

I got plants vs zombies garden warfare in the year 2014 and I have not put down the franchise since that day especially when plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 came out thank you for creating such great games and I hope I get to see more hits from your franchise.

I remember playing PvZ gw2 when I was six starting a 10 year long addiction that’s still going, but just like many others I’m waiting on garden warfare 3 please understand the huge fan base that could support gw3.
