Cheating and Appeals Process

I'm glad there's effort being taken to remove cheaters in SWGOH. However, I would probably put more emphasis on fixing the skill rating system we have. There's still a weird mechanism that's causing folks to shoot up way higher than they should be when promoting to a new bracket. Aka, dozens of folks get shot up to Kyber 1 from Aurodium 1 for no reason and the score boost is not helpful for honest folks from Kyber 2 to try and climb and reach the bottom level of Kyber 1.

It's not only not fair for Kyber 2 folks trying to make a final push into Kyber 1 to have their spots be handed over to these players, but these players will have no positive experience as they lose basically every match in Kyber 1 for the next few months. This should be addressed immediately and be given the same priority as the cheaters as the system itself is cheating the player base.

"Appealing your ban does not mean you will be unbanned. You will not be informed on any decision we make."

Well that seems very unfair. If their appeal was successful, and they got unbanned, you won't tell them that? How then are they supposed to know? They're just expected to keep trying to log in, and maybe it works and maybe it doesn't?

Cheating in PvP is terrible but I don't blame anyone from wanting to make TB and the raid easier. Idk about anyone else but playing the same missions over and over without a sim feature is not fun. Conquest is a chore, TB is a chore. 

i used the first link like 10 times in the last 3 weeks also a lot of my guild members done it and this guy is still not banned....

Actually I think matching up against someone who’s cheating is more enjoyable than facing this terrible rng that makes us run our 5 battles over and over and over and over again for hours upon hours just to get a decent score in the raid, not even a maxed score. I think we’ve all but given up on max scores at this point.

This subject came to my attention, and I was eager to learn more about it.

Here are my thoughts.

I don't think that a regular player can cheat. The only ones who can do this are developers or someone who has been granted access.

Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Be kind; spread love and inclusion, not hate.

Consider allowing us to upload screenshots of the cheaters. How are we supposed to provide ally codes of cheaters who don't have an swgoh.gg account, or have gone to lengths to make it impossible to find it by having common names, or names with Cyrillic characters?
