When are you going to increase Mod quantity cap??? Are we seriously going to be limited to 500 of them forever? Having hundreds of characters and only 500 limit is seriously not going to cut it

It's 500 unassigned, how many alternate sets are you expecting to keep?

There's nearly 400 toons in the game. Meaning at 6 mods a toon, you've got reserve/flexibility for about 80 toons, give or take (if you keep them all modded, which of course might not always be needed, but presume they do just in case). That's also things like 5B mods with 9 speed, that you might not want to *sell* right now, but might want to slice up when you get more mats to see if it rolls into a 14-speed 5A mod.
500 does feel limiting. Especially as a HotUtils user, seems like every time I push a remod I have to sell ~70 mods from 350 down to ~280 or so just to get the remod into the game.
The mod system needs love (well, realistically, for CG to stop taking other people's work for granted and do something), and a cap increase is part of that. That said, CG should be thanking Hotutils, because if not for HotUtils, Mod management would've burned out a hell of a lot of the top people in the game.

There's only 291 characters currently, the rest are ships which don't take mods. Of those I can think of about a dozen who'd want multiple mods sets, like Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker?
Of those, I'd just say to put the extra set on a random crew member you'll never use as a character squad member, so it still counts towards their ship's power.

The 500 limit is only for unassigned mods. Mods on characters (which can now total over 1500) aren't counted. Why would anyone need to keep more than 500 mods that aren't being used?

Because events/TB often require remods, especially if it's not some imbo-meta-pack with 9 relic.
Because every 2-3 weeks we get a new character = you need to have a stock of each "different" module in at least 3 formats (and this is just the main stat).
Because recalibration is not free and you need to collect "happiness mods" periodically hoping for normal stats.Do you even play this game with such a question? Or are you one of those who constantly buys module packs, have all the gold modules with a speed of 25 on each character and slot?
