Sadly that last part is probably going to get worse with this. Won’t change as long as people keep spending. I may be leaving the game is this new mode is going to require more spending.
Just wait for it. Heavy monetization incoming with Era TW, Era TB, Era GAC, Era Fleets Era Conquest, Era, Era, Era only. Legacy will be sunset. Then they will sunset this game and v2.0 will release with even more monetization.
First they will amp up the LSB packs. In the death throes of another game I played previously they actually released a “catch up pack” that maxed everything currently in the game for $10. Plenty of people bought it too because they couldn’t see the writing on the wall.
