Crimes Against the Republic Era Battle Requirements

If it's anything like the Knightfall event, I for one am going to love having an R8 Temple Guard while struggling to finish P1 of this event without dedicated remodding. 

/s, of course. And while I hope I'm wrong, I can't trust you guys to actually execute correctly at this point. 

Why even *bother* releasing these events before the entire team is out and ready to go? Having these events be unbeatable the first few runs for even whales does nothing aside from frustrate them and prove that spending isn't worth it - counter to what we would think you'd want the community to think.

The no borrowed units is crap. We borrowed LV. If youre gonna make everyone have J.M.M. why cant we borrow jocasta. Nah. Just whale harder. This ideology sucks.

Conversely, if you did put in the effort to get Jocasta, who’s much harder to acquire, but don’t have the marquee, you also can’t participate. Whale harder indeed 

I just want to be able to use MY units. You nerf our borrowed units while overclocking the lv90+ enemy units. I WISH my Jocasta could wipe a full LV Clone team with bulwark and protection up with that last ditch attack. Hell if Scorch could work properly that’d be cool too. I’d actually LOVE knightfall if I had my LV lead in there but no we get LV Lite lite. Sugar free LV. Gluten Free Vader. 

Hope we at least complete T1 without remoding or applying zetas 🙂

Yeah, I'm not usually one for all the negativity on these forums, but I kind of agree here.  I'm not typically a whale, but I did with LV clones (and Ahsoka before that...), and the Knightfall event is pretty much the opposite of encouragement to whale on this format going forward. Besides whaling, I've dedicated farming, etc. to gathering everything to beef the LV team up (3 - 9's and 2 - 8's), but we can't even use our own LV.  I took Appo and Scorch to R9 blowing through any stash I had, and I can't even get halfway through the last tier, and the tiers before that were a pain the entire way.  Rewards are nice if you can get them (almost nobody in my guild can), but I'm worried this is their test for a new format in place of Assault Battles eventually.  All this temporary stuff (datacrons, Era Battles, raid omicrons, etc.) that eventually destroy the investment you've made is a trend I'd personally not like to see more of.

I did t1 and t2 with a g9 Appo. If you were struggling to finish t1 with an R8 then maybe Hello Kitty Island Adventure is more your speed.

I love the content, I really do! But the way the roll out has been kinda shady. Can't use are own units that cost money, difficulty seems cheap, and way too many bugs or abilities turned off all together.  

Treat your customers right and they'll go far for you, treat them wrong! And they'll leave all together.
