The tier 2 is very difficult with all the stuns. 
I tried with a relic 3 Kix, and after giving him GL mods (!!) he gets stunlocked on last tier. 

Anti-fun design, after the bait-and-switch with halving the amount of era battles.  

This will be the last era battle I try anything but the lowest tier on.
