Why dark side tho? He's generally portrayed as a morally ambiguous character in the Star Wars universe, leaning towards a "good" alignment. He aided resistance in fight against first order/cult of the sith eternal in a battle of Exegol. Pirates like Sidon Ithano, if they weren't fully committed to one side of the conflict, they should be more of a neutral allignement like Hondo, who benefited from both sides.

With this you could expand neutral base of characters in the game and add some variety to it.
