Friday Highlights - February 27th

Welcome to another Friday, and the last week of February! Got any fun plans for the weekend as we head into March? I’ll be on the couch catching up with all the Oscar nominations 😊🍿 For all you other movie lovers, tell me your Oscar predictions! 

First, let’s go over this week’s updates: 

• On Tuesday, we got a look at this year’s Quality of Life Roadmap, so if you’re curious to see what improvements we can expect for 2026, be sure to have a look here!

Time to spring into this week’s highlights!

• New kits means a new giveaway! simgirl1010​ is back at it again with a brand new giveaway for both the Wonderland Playroom & Yard Charm kits 🥳This giveaway will close tomorrow, with winners being announced on March 1st, so be sure to get your entries in if you haven’t already. But that’s not all- luthienrising​ is running a giveaway this week as well for the Royalty & Legacy Grand Bundle! To enter this one, you’ll need to share either your personal noble title, or tell us your Dynasties values. This giveaway closes on Sunday, make sure you enter now!  
  
  
• Does your Sim need a new hobby? How about trying your hand at pottery in this lovely little shop, Komorebi Ceramics, created by cbarber89​. This small business is the perfect spot for an afternoon outing- you can cozy up downstairs to craft your own pottery, or relax on the wrap around porch and enjoy the peaceful zen garden and calming fountains. Upstairs, you’ll find a small empty apartment, ready for your Sim to decorate and furnish as they please. So if you’re ready to take on a new small business, be sure to check out this shop! ⚱️🏺
  
  
• Up next, we have a new story about one of Sulani’s longest ruling Dynasties- The Kealoha Dynasty, written by seanctrl​. This once beloved Dynasty has suffered a fall from grace and now the newest generation must work to restore their legacy and earn back the trust of their people. But will they succeed? And will they be able to keep their ancient bloodline a secret, or will they finally be exposed? This story is just getting started, so be sure to tune in and follow along as the drama and adventure unfolds! 🧜🏾‍♀️👑
  
  
• Let’s mix it up a little bit this week with a new type of challenge- QTSimz​ has created a Shell Challenge for all you wonderful builders! For this challenge, you’ll be renovating a very cute 2-bed 2-bath home, with full artistic freedom to landscape, edit the interior floorplan, add windows or doors, or even build a second floor. Your only rule is no editing the exterior walls, and no CC allowed. You’ll have until the end of March to submit your builds for this challenge, be sure to get started and show off your artistic talents! 🏗️🚧
  
  
• There’s nothing that scares me more than the fast approaching Texas summer heat, so let’s get even more spooked with this new challenge - The Dead Zone Challenge, created by Hearts_For_All​. For this challenge, you’ll be trying to survive 1 of 3 different apocalyptic scenarios- Devastation, Destruction, or Desolation. Each scenario has specific lot challenges, traits and goals that you’ll need to work towards with various rewards you can unlock along the way. If you think you can survive, be sure to try out this choose your own adventure style challenge! 🧟☢️
