Update Notifications?!
I've become weary of launching the game only to find out there's an update. I get very little time to play, and the smallest update takes at least 1hr 15mins to install. Is there anywhere where I can find out - in advance - from EA/Respawn - when an update will drop? Pretty sure the answer is "no". I've tried • Discord - (a messy site imo) which I can't find any links to relevant posts. • Leaving the PS4 on standby, allowing it to auto update the game - doesn't work seeing as the PS4 checks for update once a day, before these updates drop, making the whole process useless. If any of you Legends reading this have any suggestions on how I can get a heads up on updates, please, let me know! Why are we Nerfing fun legends like ash an sparrow and buffing obnoxious characters like caustic and seer this makes no sense you wanna talk about overpowered nerf ash dash but give seer double jump and the ability to freeze himself in the air and wall hacks that goes 70 meters and a tactical that can go just as far that gives him a speed, boost and cancels the person‘s abilities that doesn’t even include his upgrades like you can’t be serious no pun intended then there’s caustic who can unlock all four perks gas damage that starts at 10 and goes up every two ticks an the gas covers, so much area. You pretty much can’t go in a building if a caustic plays it right an ultimate that comes back every two minutes when it takes ashes three not to mention this doesn’t apply to mouse and keyboard players, but gets rid of aim assist which is really fine but this is ridiculous. You Nerf, the fun, legends and buff the ones no one really wants to play because they’re obnoxious turning them into raid bosses like make Apex fun again. These are terrible changes. Caustic can have all four perks but Ash can’t have two ults bro. Gas starts at 10 and can tick up every two ticks. But tethered damage and duration was the problem. Y’all must be smoking, meth or something. Not to mention seer gets more of a speed boost than Maggie does from her ult. Like y’all’s balancing has to be the worst in gaming history. Because a fun character is getting played on every team you decide to Nerf her you would think this is a good thing. How about instead of nerfing characters with high pick rates into the ground you make the other characters equally as fun instead of just buffing them out out of this world there’s so many fun mechanics you could add them instead of making them obnoxious please make Apex fun again pick rate is not a bad thing. Hello EA Community Team, My EA account Wztong1 )was banned nearly two years ago while I was playing Apex Legends. Since then, I have tried to appeal many times through the official channels, but the appeals were always rejected with a final notice that the ban will not be reversed. I want to emphasize that I have spent a lot of time and money on this account, including multiple in-game purchases. Because of the ban, I cannot use my purchased content and cannot buy or play Battlefield V, which I was really looking forward to. During all my time playing Apex Legends, I have never intentionally violated any rules. I have never used cheats, third-party software, or engaged in unfair behavior. If the ban was caused by a misunderstanding or unintentional action, I sincerely apologize. I kindly ask for another review of my case. Ask chat GPT if you can use a chronus zen on console. Easy AF. It’s one of the games biggest issues yet you continue to push it under the rug. Balance the game and bring some legitimacy back into it. Bullet hit effect
The bullet hit effect makes it difficult to see the opponent's head, so it would be helpful if you could address this by increasing the transparency of the effect, etc. It would be even better if the effect only appeared on the opposite side of the bullet hit. My Apex account was suddenly shown as banned while I was playing with my classmates on the evening of August 10, 2025. Later, I checked and found that it was due to an unauthorized(at odesa, an area even i not know) login to my EA account from a different location, as the account had been hacked. I changed the account password yesterday, but the hacker still logged in this morning. They even modified my linked email and phone number, which has prevented me from changing them to my other email addresses. I submitted an appeal to the human customer service team the day before yesterday, but I haven't received a response yet. Season 26 has so much wrong with it!!!
I really hope respawn and EA look into all feedback the community leaves in the forums in general because there is just so much wrong with the changes! I only had time to player for about an hour and was a bit disappointed in the changes and i never really felt that way before. Always some change that i do not care for. Maybe my mind will change as i play more. People who hate to drop hot will love the new ranked, but those who like to drop hot will probably not play ranked as much. Push comes to shove, dropping somewhere out of battle was not really an issue before so i feel letting people pick where to drop was a happen medium for all. I got this gut feeling that leveling up in ranked will take longer now with the delayed action. (I personally dont have time to rank up but i did use ranked as an escape to get out pred like sweaty pub lobbies i get stuck in halfway through the season and when i get sick of people leaving after they get dropped over and over.) I do like the change to the RE-45 but at the same time, gun was easy to use and good for noobs and game has limited pistols to begin with but making the P2020 Mythic and making the RE-45 harder to use for the average player was a mistake, now not really any good pistols for noobs. I know they did not want to add any guns but a pistol could have been added just for Energy! Ding Ding Ding Ding, please fix the dings. Bangalore is way to OP against Caustic! Every time we level up we need to watch an animation! Come on!! Matchmaking is still broken Please add to this list!! I will add more as i play and maybe retract something but i wanted to speak up right away. Ok so why is this mode advertised as permanent, but then I see the patch notes, and it’s listed as a limited time mode? It has hard end dates so they completely lied in the marketing.
