Hacked Account was Banned
So, like most from what I'm finding through Google searches... I, who hasn't played Apex in years, recently bought the Champion Edition on Steam to try getting back into Apex Legends. Little did I know, apparently my account was hacked and got itself banned on Apex Legends around Season 5--from what I've gathered through match histories. My username of 'Sharrayzen' was even changed to some random name that I've never seen before. This is where my story begins. I contact EA Customer Support, figuring that it would be as simple as confirming my identity and trying to get the banned uplifted because obviously why would I spend money on a game if I knew I was banned there and/or why wouldn't I have appealed the ban the moment it happened some time ago. With that in mind, I'm figuring it should not take long to get this mess straightened out surely. I was wrong. The first advisor Agent Abhishek S made quick work in giving me what seems like the scripted spiel of forwarding it to the TOS and it shouldn't be long before quickly bidding me a good day. I didn't think much of it and figured it should be an easy matter as checking my match history and seeing the change of name and such. Around this time I get curious and Google Searched the normal wait time on EA's TOS department, and that's when I read on all these horror stories for the similar situation that I am in where someone a victim of their account being hacked and subsequently banned put through the wringer. So, this leads me into trying to explore my options to get myself out of this mess. Such as unlinking my EA account from my Steam. It having been compromised, I didn't want any attachment between the two. The next advisor: Rohit M, was the moment I realized how absolutely terrible EA Customer Support really was. This advisor informed me that because of the account suspension on Apex Legend, I'd be unable to unlink my accounts between Origin and Steam despite the account being reported hacked, and once again could only offer to escalate the case. I've already read all the testimonies of others how the TOS department literally will email you telling you that your account is suspended because of suspicious activities or involvement with cheating or what have you, which sounded to me like a "No *, Sherlock, that's why I started these cases to resolve"-type deal, and I knew I'd absolutely lose my * if I received an email from that department telling me something of that nature after waiting on them for so long. I wanted to avoid it all together and not have to repeat the EA Customer Support Hell that I am currently in. Back on this advisor, I was asking if there was someone else I could chat with to get this over and done with, and like an ex-girlfriend, the man left me on read. Never responding. Practically peacing out the conversation like the vanishing Black kid video. At this point, I'm just pissed. It did not help that the dude had the nerve to send an email asking if I "still needed help" and to "contact us at Ea..." whatever. .So, currently, I'm stuck in a limbo of being down forty dollars and at the mercy of whenever EA decides to "investigate". I can't contact EA Customer Support because there are no options available despite it saying this is during their operational hours. If and when this account stuff gets sorted, I'm 100% unlinking and disassociating with Origin. Wild. Apex Legends : Quality of Life Improvement Requests Welcome to the Apex Legends quality of life thread, collating all the various little mini improvements people would like to see into one giant thread that I will update semi regularly with additions from different people. These are little things that would make the gameplay feel more seamless and give people more control over their experience. The thread is a mixture of improvements that I've thought about and other suggested by other members. I've struck through suggestions that have been addressed, or are no longer relevant. WEAPONS Weapon settings Add a weapon settings tab while browsing weapon skins, this would include: Default fire mode Specific weapon sensitivity tweaks Favourite sight for weapon - When pinging I need a sight in the menu UI you will call out for your favourite sight. Hop-ups An increase to the amount of new hop-ups each season More hop-ups that drastically change the way weapons behave Triple Take Ability to use select fire button to turn precision choke on and off when equipped.. (Added in SEASON 6) Sentinel Uses shield cells instead of batteries L-Star Picking up a fresh L-Star from the ground puts 20 energy ammo into your inventory if there is room. (QOL) Eva-8 Double Tap stacks with Shotgun bolt (Double tap was buffed in 4.0) Bocek Compound Bow Picking up a fresh Bocek from the ground puts a half stack of arrows into your inventory if there is room. (QOL) Peacekeeper Ability to use select fire button to turn precision choke on and off when equipped.. (Added in SEASON 6) Sights New gold mid-range sight with digital threat Ability to chose whether sights are hold or toggle at different zoom levels -DreamStare07 1x digital threat can be used on assault rifles and LMGs Ability to choose which specific sight you want on CP weapons Ability to lock sights onto weapons @Vytasa LEGENDS Bangalore Will notify the team when a Kraber has been fired nearby and from what distance/direction. - Gonepunk Character Utility action button changes smoke patterns. - Gonepunk Caustic White markers above friendly traps.(BUFF) Friendly and enemy gas to be different shades of green, friendly gas darker and less saturated, enemy gas brighter and more saturated. (BUFF) Ultimate decoys copy legend movement, similar to Dummie Ultimate. (BUFF) Decoys show damage taken to make them harder to distinguish from the real mirage. (BUFF) - NAFEAGAMER1 Upon successful revival of a teammate, mirage's invisibility last slightly longer so that he can distance himself from them safely. (BUFF) - Gonepunk Enemies can hear footsteps of the tactical decoy (BUFF) (Added in Season 8) Pathfinder Potential new passive - (Using Survey beacons fully charges his ultimate and shows nearby squads in a 400m radius on the map for 10 seconds) (RE-WORK) Bloodhound Use crows to make following tracks slightly easier, have them fly in a specific direction rather than just up.(QOL) Footprint colour during ultimate more easily distinguishable from enemy colour. (NERF) (Strafing acceleration reduced in S9) Octane Octane does more whacky stuff on his jump-pad (QOL) - Gonepunk Jump-pad active the moment it hits the ground (Honestly the amount of time I've thrown it too close and ran over it without it activating makes me sad). (QOL) Fuse Addition to passive that let's you 3x zoom when launching ordinance, for more accurate trajectory at range. (QOL) Wattson More leeway when throwing ordinance away from her ultimate. (BUFF) Using the "Extra Character Action" button destroys and refunds the last pylon you placed. (QOL) Ability to charge Sentinel faster and the charge lasts twice as long. Ability to charge Sentinel directly from pylon Lifeline Using Lifeline's tactical while it's on cooldown will proc a voice-line to teammates telling them that it isn't ready (cool-down 3 seconds)(QOL) Crypto Pinging banners while operating the drone will trigger a voice line from crypto that tells squad-mates how many squads are in the area. (QOL) (Added around season 7-9) Small Animation time on Survey / Respawn Beacon for more solid feedback. (QOL) - Gonepunk Drone can scan through all glass. (BUFF) EMP knocks out enemy HUD and disables abilities for a short time. (BUFF) - ExiledPheonix42 Bar to show the health level of the drone (QOL) While using drone you can target allies, enemies and self with the drone and it will attempt to follow from 20ft on autopilot (QOL) Short press of tactical button will immediately enter drone - Long press will send drone out in a straight line until you let go of the button. (QOL) Ability to pick up banners with drone with greater ease and from slightly further away (BUFF) - LIONLIONpoodle Valk Ultimate Icon shows when it is unavailable due to above clearance. (QOL) All participating teammates immune to out of bound countdown while in the initial launch/takeoff stage of Ultimate. (QOL) Vantage Holding the ultimate button while the weapon still has shots uses an ultimate accelerant if one is available. (QOL) Newcastle Ability to cancel tactical by holding the button so that it can start to cooldown faster when you don't need it. (Addressed in Aftermarket Patch) MAPS Worlds Edge Updraft now carries you much higher into the air, so getting stuck in an updraft loop is much harder. Olympus More danger warnings on railings that have a death drop on the other side. Stormpoint More Tridents at the top of the map around Lightning rod. A new Stormpoint exclusive survival item (Micro-Repulsor) that causes wildlife to avoid the area around it. Tridents - Olympus & Stormpoint Wattson's Inteceptors can be placed on trident Trident movement is more responsive to fine adjustments Bumping into enemies has more knock back and could even do minor damage while boosting. Ability to change seats without getting out of the trident GAMEPLAY Legend Selection Screen System in place to stop selection spamming on the select screen, the bright selection light could potentially trigger Epilepsy. @DrWizardo Ability to see character specific challenges on the legend ability overlay. @DoYaSeeMe Ability to Role cue, when you pick a specific legend to role cue as, you will be paired up with together with players that have role cue'd as different legends, those legends will be greyed out for other team-members, but you can still change your mind and choose a non-dibbsed legend if you wish. (Golden Weapon: 90 , Armour: 100 , Knockdown shield: 75 , Backpack: 100 or Helmet: 70) More options regarding crafting Ammo, ability to craft full stacks of a specific ammo type. Cycle ammo options using the swap weapon button. (New) Using the replicator requires holding the interact button, this is to stop players from getting sucked into the replicator when reloading or picking up items. Ability to craft shield cells and syringes in the machine by using the swap weapon button on the shield battery & med kit options to cycle between options. Controls Option to prioritise reloading over other actions when your current weapon needs reloading. - @OldTreeCreeper Option for Auto-run to only trigger when weapons are holstered - Gc995 Option to remap specific actions to different buttons, for example making the revive button the same as melee. @MandatoryIDtag Option in controls to have primary fire button bring out your weapons when they are holstered instead triggering a melee attack. @Wingmannedbro Ability to remap revive & self revive separately from the interact button, to avoid opening doors by accident while reviving. @FireSoulVortex Ping System More ping options available while dropping @BillyCrash100 More ease of precision pinging while dropping to say where you are going. ( Very often if someone has pinged a location the area surrounding the location is difficult to ping due to proximity to that ping until you get very close. Very often you can end up accidentally saying no to a location ping instead of actually putting down a marker yourself.) Ability to adjust voice chat volumes for individual team-mates - Twitch-TVDemi_ Better sound reverberation & dampening, especially regarding sounds that are on another level, or through a wall that sound like they're right next to you. Endgame Summary New endgame page that shows the banners of all the Legends you eliminated during your last game and how much damage you did to them. Trackers that show off a legends K/D ratio, win ratio & damage per game average More Seasonal Stat Trackers @OldTreeCreeper Stat trackers for all legend wins @OldTreeCreeper Loading Screens Ability to favourite certain loading screens and randomise between them similar to skins. Ability to show your club emblem in one of your badge slots. Clubs New Club level that all club members can contribute to. All aspects of player health, speed, gravity etc. Respawns - Respawn Beacon / Auto Respawn / No respawn. Objectives - Capture / Death-match / Battle Royale/ Dropship escape. The Ring - Whether it's activated and size/damage/position for each round. Which Legends are available Team sizes Exclusive club lobbies option - @CompleatBeet Load-outs - Activated or not Weapon mag sizes & damage output. Aspect - 3rd or 1st person. Map Specific events - Loot tick, Cargo-bot, Flyer & supply Ship frequency Possibilities are endless. Replay / Threatre Mode - Mangomilktea A mode for viewing and saving the last game for creative or educational purposes. Assist Mode Assist mode let's you turn off your SBMM when grouped with a new player (level 50 or below) You can only pick up lvl 1 Armour, KD shields, Backpacks & Helmets. Weapon sights are still unrestricted. Healing Items work 20% more slowly. No stats are counted at the end of the game but you still get XP at a 60% rate. Not available in Ranked. Must be lvl 100 to unlock assist mode. This is allow experienced players to play with new players without bringing them into lobbies that they are not ready for, hopefully the restrictions are enough to stop these players from reaping too many kills in early lobbies. More restrictions could be added to further reduce their combat effectiveness. LTM's New LTM's every 2 weeks. More simple concepts like: Mozambique only Armed and Dangerous - Shotguns & Snipers Pathfinder-Only solo's mode Instant ring death mode Fully Kitted drops mode Arcade mode - Where shields recharge automatically 30 v 30 mode These are just a few ideas to get the ball rolling, please submit your own and I will add to this list. I got banned about two weeks ago The tos says i was caught by cheating however at that time off period I wasn’t used my account! Someone break in to it hacked and use cheats on it! All it happened I git a message from a bot discord with some kinda links I pressed one like I would’t know what the heck is that til now because off that sheet I got banned from Apex accused by cheating👌🏻🙏🏻 I just share this with you guys i try it everything Get in touch with tos they just says they do not decide to remove the sanction, customer cheat same thing phone calls? They don’t even picked up the phone so yeah this is how to lose a 400£ Apex account! Investigate? How? Need Indian / Middle East Servers
Hello Respawn / EA! WE LOVE THIS GAME! But boy oh boy do we need servers in India or Middle East. It's a well known fact that ping is a huge issue when it comes to FPS games and for players sitting in India / Middle East, the best option is either Singapore or EU where we get 100ms+ and 150ms+ pings respectively. How does this effect game-play? Interactions are delayed - Picking up items, weapons, shields Delay in doors opening / closing Delay in opening supply bins Bullet registry delayed Delay in using hero skills Delay in switching weapons and the list goes on..... The bottom line is that having a ping disadvantage is undeniably a huge drawback which is why we need servers in our region. We have both AWS as well as Google cloud (both utilized by Multiplay) which makes setting up the servers feasible in our region. We have 14000+ signatures (and comments) on a petition requesting servers in our region. So what are we waiting for? Let's make this happen for all the players and fans in our region! I'm making this post because I don't see anyone else talking about it. If you're like me, you may have noticed a reduction in the Apex Packs you receive after level 20. This confused me at first, and I decided to look more into it. So, it turns out that the level cap in Apex Legends is at 100. And, between levels 1-100, a player will only receive 45 Apex Packs for free. That's all you'll get. Yeah, they do have an over-leveling system, but you only get Legend Tokens from it. And, outside of unlocking characters, Tokens are useless. You can't buy Packs with them, and the skins in the store require you to first obtain the legendary variants of them. These legendary skins you can buy with real money (about $20 a piece). Otherwise, you have to be lucky enough to obtain through Packs. Or, get enough crafting materials to unlock them yourself, which are also randomly obtained only through Packs. Honestly, I had been absolutely loving this game up until now. But, finding out that leveling will only reward me so much makes me think, "What's the point?" And, I feel any game (F2P or not) shouldn't strong-arm it's players to spend more money. Dear fellow Apex Legends Players, I never write to forums or participate in forum discussions. This is honestly my first ever forum post everywhere and that's because I am absolutely disgusted with the latest season 6 update to apex legends. This was my favorite game that I played every day for the past year and with this new update I have officially uninstalled Origin and Apex. The TTK and armor reductions/nerfs completely changed the pace of battle and altered the fundamentals of what made apex "apex". People complained about the R-99 being able to one clip you but with this update every gun in the game has the potential to one clip you. The update is tailored to new noob players who don't know how to aim a mouse. It's called practice and learning the skill, no need to change what the framework was from season one. I am truly upset with the direction the game is going and hope that EA can revert back to what made this game great. I hope lots of you feel the same way. Hi, with a game so new, the community will be learning together to discover useful tips, tricks and cool things as we play. Please add anything to this thread that you would want a new player to know! 1. You can scramble up walls a surprising distance. If you jump at a wall and hold the jump button, your Legend will scramble up and mantle over the top. They can make it up quite a distance, the wall in the pic below can be easily scaled for example, as can many single-storey buildings I didn't catch this on my first few games, and I found it's great for repositioning, escapes, or for saving time on basic traversal. 2: The color of the damage text shows your opponent's armor. If you shoot someone wearing armor, you get a little icon to let you know that this will be a harder target, but did you know that the color will show what level armor they're wearing? Nail a headshot and the damage will show as yellow. No Armor: Red Level 1: White Level 2: Blue Level 3: Purple Unarmoured Level 2 Armor Also, bonus tip, when you loot armor from a vanquished foe, it'll be topped up! So if you took a beating to your Level 3 armor and you're out of batteries, you might consider trading down. 3: Use those Balloons See those big red balloons dotted around the place? You can zipline up them and glide where you want. This of course can be used to cross the map fast if the circle is closing in, but it can be used in combat and ambushes too. Boost up solo or as a team and drop above/behind the other squad to get the jump on them. You can use them to escape a bad situation too, but make sure you distract your hunters first, you'll be an easy target on the zipline. 4: Kick the door down. Many don't know that you can break the doors in this game. Either use grenades or employ your melee to smash the door out of your way and make an entrance! Playing the pc version of APEX LEGENDS and I currently donthave friends to play with so when i get into a game and fancy playing another game with the previous teammates the UI/UX design doesnt incorporate recent players and just makes it hard to add people. So I play apex when I have free time and can be considered a casual. I have around 30 kill overall my characters, more games played than kills, and no wins. When I got home yesterday and wanted to play the game I come to find myself banned. I don't wanna hear "we cant answer this on the forums" bs cause I emailed EA and got the response "We got your note and did a full investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we determined that we took the correct action in accordance with EA policies and procedures". Now I have no idea what you did during the investigation but honestly this is either bad customer support or your cheat catching system is so good it caught me imagining I was cheating cause honestly what did you investigate? This game is great but honestly this customer service kinda ruined my day. My account was barely a week old and just to clarify i did not cheat and wanted to bring it up here to see if others with similar problems had this issue. Please don't give people issues like this, I understand people cheat but you gotta fix this please. You could also think "what proof are you giving that you didnt cheat" but here I am the one thinking how did you think I cheated? what program did I use? giving the most vague answer might work for those mass cheaters who know they cheated and wouldn't bother to fight their case, but for me examine my account as much as you want then tell me the results. APEX private servers I had a nice chat with one of the EA customer support people and I was told I should express my interest on the forums, as they could not give me any information at this time. So I would like to express my interest in being able to obtain private servers for APEX as the company I work for hosts tournaments for universities and there has been expressed interest by a large number of players, that they would like to play in an APEX tournament. Due to the large number of players and the premise that it is for universities using current methods of running an APEX tournament would make it lose a lot of it's integrity. Anyway thought I would express my interest on this subject, I hope there is a plan to release private servers or give other the ability to host it them selves in the future. Let's put the boot on the other foot... I'll put myself out there and say i think it's pretty unanimous that performance isn't that great in the games current state that's only getting worse as each season is added and before i start, i would just like to say that this isn't a rant (your servers are trash) thread and networks, servers, code and game development aren't my area of expertise. I'm only mentioning things I've read briefly (some of which will be copy/pasted from online sources for my own convenience) or mentioned through discussions here that could be a cause or possibly be a part of the problem and i understand from a backend point of view that this is a process of evaluating costs and benefits. We need some benefits now as more than enough users have given plenty over the past 2 years to cover those costs. No excuse when you charge 150+ for an heirloom that's 3x the price of a typical AAA title. If you're to be so bold to expect us to pay that amount shoving these events down our throats each season then you can bet i'll have the audacity to request a decent live service when it's pretty sub par in comparison to most FPS titles either current or in the past that don't charge anywhere near that amount. I'm trying to find a better experience than what i currently have (beyond the realms of user troubleshooting that i have already done multiple times) and hopefully for others too. Let's exclude the bare min specs users playing on wifi or bugs like sound issues they can't replicate as that isn't what i'm getting at nor that games are ok for most users to play at 30fps when we live in an age of 240hz + monitors and EA, the global leader in digital interactive entertainment officially advertising Apex as a competitive shooter in tournaments with a large prize pool. Now, some of the problems that we're experiencing could be because of some of these things mentioned or totally unrelated. Point of this discussion isn't for replies of why they can't do this or improve that, but a workaround, compromise or solution that might actually resolve or improve some issues for a lot of users that they (EA/Respawn or Multiplay) can do on their end. So, if you apparently know what you're talking about then i don't want excuses.. Problems are there in abundance... They need addressing. ASAP. Matchmaking Server - Server selection - Ping limitations per match. From my limited understanding, Respawn has a dedicated matchmaking server that puts you through to Multiplays Hybrid Cloud solution that can place you into different servers that's integrated with the 3 biggest public clouds, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and AWS in over 190 data centers but the cloud machines are more unstable, due to weaker processing power, differently tuned buffering, maybe less optimal/reliable routing, etc.. SBMM, region, ping and other metrics to determine where to put you in a match and they can also migrate players to other data centers because of these things or to decrease que time which they're trying to keep very low for obvious reasons also effecting your matches. Developers want to provide a consistent, curated, experience for players while some players very much want complete control over their experience. As selecting our data center and instant play (ready now) is our ONLY option which will take the above into consideration when joining a match, the priority of providing you a smooth experience will decrease with longer que times and the problem made worse in off peak hrs in your region. This doesn't just apply to you, but all 60 players in a match so once you wait x amount of time then it will fill these spots with players that have high ping from another country and possibly even another continent to you. Playing with a high ping means game lags, which adversely affects the player's game. Most times, with high ping, many servers of FPS games automatically disconnect the player and kick them out of the game but we don't have this in Apex. Latency is the time measurement of exchanging information (ping) from one computer to the server. What makes this worse is every time you or i join a new game it could be with a different server or provider and also potentially under load effecting performance causing micro stutter, slow mo, hitreg and delayed response (getting shot through doors or behind cover) and whatever else. These will already exist but be made much worse and this inconsistency is infuriating for those playing the competitive mode with RP on the line when trying to climb in the higher tiers of ranked. Here's brief explanation of high ping, peekers advantage and lag compensation. Guide to playing with or against high ping in FPSs that have lag compensation (kovaak.com) With our performance display with limits pre set by what Respawn thinks is acceptable like ping 170+ until it shows the ping icon for example, it would be nice to set our own limits with more information and have network round trip included like Valorant. A quote from Dave Heironymus, technical director of Valorant at Riot Games. “The Valorant team has put extensive effort into determining the best combination of tick rate and latency that will minimize peeker’s advantage, and those tests showed that a 128hz tick rate and 35ms (or less) latency would be best for our players.” and “Blind tests also showed that elite FPS players … can reliably detect when the game is running at a lower tick rate.” Most Adept FPS players look for performance which has led to Valorants success as let's be honest the movement, abilities, characters and all round generally, Valorant is an inferior game to Apex with performance being its main attraction. If Apex goes along these lines it would bring some of those players back and be good for the game overall. With the addition of series one ranked in Season 2 and it becoming more refined for competitions over time with tweaks to the RP system, legend balance and further map releases and changes, the foundations are there for Apex to rise in esports. Many more improvements can still be made to ranked that i'll push for but that's beside the point.. Having a server selector and instant play is doable and i think having the extra option or choice, especially for those climbing the higher tiers or potentially wanting to play Apex professionally is a good thing imo. Perhaps that's complicated in the current structure through Multiplay (i don't know) but could that be changed? Having random and unstable experiences at that level is causing unnecessary frustration for those future stars that could potentially be advertising the game and end up sending them to other games that have more focus on aspiring competitive players. Network, packets, servers and server tick rate. We all heard this before and it's the worst amongst ALs biggest competitors. I don't understand the whole sending packets with pigeons but just remove the crap, streamline and optimise it. Same with the ''netcode''. Just as you can remove all the fliers, prowlers and such if it's draining server resources. Have that content in the game by all means for those that want PvE but if it's hindering competitive PvP matches then remove it or have it separate. Most games that have upgraded server ticks has been noticed by most just as you would notice playing on 30hz TV then going to a 60/75hz or from that to 144/240hz. Also, give us the option for higher client CPU/bandwidth usage. Clients could just choose their own rates. You apparently have a 10 year plan? Invest in it. Here's some old videos from Battle(non)sense that are still relevant today. The most important part to take away from this is THEY CAN improve it but either the developers don't get the resources or don't feel the need to make these changes. There is also the fact pay-to-enter servers like ESEA, FACEIT, and CEVO, the last of which has locations in New York, London, France, Sydney, and more, all run on 128-tick environments, but with the added catch of being paid services. Rumour is (so take with a pinch of salt) Respawn have a 6 year contract with Multiplay for their hybrid cloud server solution. Now i understand the benefits of this originally to address scaling issues but now the player base has settled into what could potentially be roughly estimated levels for new seasons release and throughout, could this be optimised? Or have separate agreement/contract for Ranked servers? Crossplay Intentional limits to accommodate inferior hardware - I don't know how much weight this carries or any of the insides of this but have separate versions of the game if it's true or let us toggle it. This is assumed to be worse with switch this month and the already broken ''lag compensation'' in conjunction with AA (aim assist) sounds like it's not fostering a very fair competitive environment. We already have enough exploits in this regard. Edit: Recently particle FX count was lowered for Caustic Gas (tac and ult), Bangalore Smoke, and Gibraltar ult likely to accommodate Switch users and reduce GPU load. https://twitter.com/GH057ayame/status/1367702094426173442?s=20 Word was around that other features had been changed long before this that weren't included in the patch notes and likely more in the future too. It was mentioned in a separate thread that Respawn can tailor the game to specific platforms so why they have done this across the board that will negatively effect most users is unknown. One size clearly doesn't fit all. Code refactoring It's always done to optimize things, it's usually happening where/when the code gets too messy because of a lot of patching or when there's new tech or device related features available that the game could benefit from. As the server issues are more prevalent when a new season or large update comes out which usually don't get fully fixed, i would imagine the pressure of keeping up with these content update schedules has had a negative impact on the game over time and while i appreciate they will constantly work on this, it's evident that many QoL issues have been neglected because of time, effort or resources required to fix them properly. Lower the amount of players in a normal match, different game mode or LTM. I think most have noticed a sluggish response at the beginning of the match on all platforms at some point. This issue has been prevalent since release when it was a very common occurrence and although it has improved since then (even if it's minor, credit where it due) we still have the same problem occasionally. This is also tied to the CODE: X,Y and Z names Respawn gave to address where the problem is so they can locate and fix it. Due to lack of communication we don't know what progress has been made but it still occurs, even if infrequently. Just to note, Respawn have highlighted in Trello about the slow matches that's been happening a lot recently. I'll keep updating this but feel free to add anything in the meantime... An article that mentions Respawn are aware and that they'll address or at least communicate about servers issues. Dive trails not permanent?? im actually just finding out about this and I’m pretty upset. There’s different styles so what’s the point on not being able to keep your HARD earned 0.2% community reward. I pushed so hard to masters this season and I absolutely will not be putting my friends and myself through that mental stress again all for somthing that NONE of us get to keep...I just don’t see the point. I should have just gotten to diamond back in season 2 and never touched ranked again I guess. Long nights wasted for a 90 day beam trail when others are grandfathered in for LIFE, which is cool they should get to keep what they worked for, so why can’t I? My salt is real with this one. It’s not like it even says in game it’s a temporary reward! It’s only stated in the devs season 3 rank reward patch notes\ breakdown.
