DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
In my experience, turning off overclock is preventing crashes. This does not fix everyone's issue. I can only play for a couple minutes, and I get this error message. Direct function "m_submitFencePlat->GetCompletedValue" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED ("The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. Keep getting error codes like 1: 86001s:89001s: 14c:-1356165584O. When I look it up it says the game servers keep failing to authenticate and it kicks me mid match no matter what game mode I’m playing. But it’s mainly been happening on Red Sec. Tried WiFi, hard wired, changed DNS servers (cloudflare & Google), uninstalled the game, reinstalled it. You name it, I’ve tried it and the game still crashes and kicks me out. Some players have mentioned that these issues occur consistently for them, and we’d love to gather more real-world in-game examples to help us understand what’s happening in different situations. If you experience these issues regularly and are willing to share screenshots or short videos, your contribution would be extremely helpful. What We’re Looking For 1. Rubberbanding or connection-feeling issues If you see warning icons frequently or experience movement stutters/teleporting: Please share: A screenshot or short video With the Simple Performance Overview enabled With the Full Network Overlay enabled These help us understand whether the in-game icons match what’s actually happening with your performance or connection at that moment. 2. Consistent hit registration problems If hitreg regularly feels off for you: Please share: A short video showing the moment(s) where it happens With both overlays enabled (Simple Performance + Network Overlay) This allows us to distinguish between true network issues and client-side performance issues that can sometimes appear similar. How to Enable the Overlays Below are the steps for both PC and console players. 🎮 Console (PS5 / Xbox Series) Simple Performance Overview Open Settings in the game menu. Go to Graphics. Scroll to Performance Overlay (sometimes under “Advanced”). Turn it On, choosing either: Simple, or Advanced/Extended (if available) Network Overlay Open Settings. Go to Network, or Gameplay → Advanced, depending on your layout. Enable Network Performance Overlay or Network Graph. Hello everyone. I need help with a connection issue in Battlefield 6. I cannot connect to the BF6 servers at all. The beta worked perfectly for me, but the full release gives me the error code 1:86001S:51002S:57019S every time. I play on Steam.I live in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and my ISP is Intelekt. My friends in Ukraine using different providers can connect without any problems. Because of this, I think the issue might be related to my ISP’s routing. As a test, I tried using a different DNS via Cloudflare 1111 app(which is not a VPN, just replace DNS with his own), and the game was finally able to connect, but the connection becomes almost unplayable due to heavy packet loss. This makes me think the default routing path from my ISP to EA servers might be the cause. Battlefield 6 beta worked fine, Battlefield 2042 is working fine too, but release version for some reasons doesn't... Help please. I want to mention that I pre-ordered the game in the highest edition available, because I really enjoy Battlefield 6 and was excited to play it from day one. I am using xbox series x and since Redsec drop i am having issues with BF6 loading next game after completing a match. It just crashes saying next game ready in the box that shows who is in my squad. Seems to be whether I use cross play or not. Have unistalled HD files and redsec but still no joy. The game is now getting unplayable. When I open Battlefield 6 on my PC, it starts in a small window in the top left corner of the screen. My mouse cursor is locked inside the window and I cannot access the task bar at the top of the window. The only fix I have found it to run a repair in the EA app. That usually takes ten minutes or so. Then the game works fine. But if I close the game for any reason or turn off my computer, the issue returns and I have to run a repair again. I have tried clearing the games cache in the EA app. I have tried unintalling and reinstalling the entire game. Fullscreen mode is selected in the game's settings. Hello! I have constant crashes in Battlefield 6, and I'm asking for help to figure out the reason.I downloaded the game on steam. The game crashes steadily 2-3 minutes after launch, without any specific action. The game just closes without any error. I've already tried different ways: updating drivers, checking game files(i have 3 corrupted files) reducing graphics settings — the problem remains. My device Specifications: Device: HP Victus laptop Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 (8 GB) RAM: 16 GB DDR4 Storage: 512 GB SSD Operating System: Windows 11 Screen resolution: standard for HP Victus (I will specify if necessary) What I have already done: Updated NVIDIA drivers to the latest version Updated Windows 11 I started the game as an administrator I checked the game files — 3 corrupted files were found, but even after recovery, crashes persist. Reduced graphics settings, including DLSS The temperature of the graphics card is about 80°C Problem: Departures continue regardless of settings. Hi, does anyone know how to fix the problem of the timed out session? I played the beta on PC playing with my Xbox controller, & did not have any issues with the Commo Rose Ping menu popping up without any Input from my controller. I am now experiencing random pop ups of this menu while playing the game without ever pressing LB. I am about to shoot, move, jump, & the menu cancels out any action I was in the process of, making it impossible to cancel this menu, & making me stop all movements in game. It is random, has no rhyme or reason & I have tried troubleshooting in every way I can think of. I have attempted to change the keybinds. I usually play in the “alternate” template, as I like my crouch assigned to right toggle & melee assigned to b (Xbox controller). I have played in defaulted settings with the same issues. I thought it was a controller issue. So I swapped to a brand new never used controller in case my LB was “stuck” or was worn out. This brand new controller had the exact same issues. I wondered if it was lag, but I was able to optimize my PC with minimal to no lag in my gameplay. I plugged my controllers in using a charging cable so it was directly connected. All of which gave me the same issues. My PC was restarted, all updates/ driver updates are up to date. I closed out the game, re downloaded the game. No luck there. I lastly attempted changing swapping keybinds for my LB & RB for it to still have the same problem. I have googled this issue, & it seems others are experiencing this same issue. Is there a fix for this? Can we have an option to please disable the commo rose? I personally have no use for it. I like simple pings, & direct communication with my squad/ friends thru discord parties. The feature can be useful to those without a microphone, but it is detrimental to those without a use for it, especially if it freezes up the entire screen/ game rendering me utterly useless & standing there in an open field amidst the chaos. Hi all, My battle pass progression started before I bought BF Pro. At the time of purchasing BF Pro, I've already completed 2 paths to unlock free rewards. However, I've noticed, that I can't access skins that I've progressed before I bought BF Pro. For example, I've completed required amount of battle pass points for Mackenzie and Saito skins before I bought BF Pro and now I can't use them. Also, 200 BF coins were not redeemed. Ever since the last update, I have issues with textures not loading when landing in Redsec. It takes a few minutes to see the environment (houses, fences, crates) and also the weapons. Until the textures load, I can see through some walls but I can't see my weapon, crosshair or ADS. The issue is solved after 2-3 minutes and game runs fine. Deleting the NVIDIA DXCache in AppData\Local\NVIDIA fixes the issue for one game, then they break again. Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor (4.20 GHz) 64.0 GB (63.1 GB usable) RTX 4070 Ti Super 3400x1440 resolution. Tried reparing game files in EA App, Reducing resolution, reducing Graphic quality, disabling DLSS, nothing worked. This is a constant thing for me playing on PS5 from Australia i know my location isn't the greatest but seriously there is not a match where I'm kicked for inactivity yet I'm running around the map getting kills and capping points then players and bots start floating in the air and/or i hear machinegun fire constantly going then i know I'm about to be kicked from the game sometimes i get into a match and 40secs later i get kicked it is extremely frustrating and its a everyday occurrence for me, the mornings for me seem to be the more stable time to be playing BF6 because when i play in the afternoons and at night i get kicked alot quicker. please find a way to improve the connection to the servers for players like myself thanks. shown below are a few screenshots of my error messages including the first pic which shows me in the lobby after getting kicked from the match and showing that i'm in a match as well.davo57802 hours agoSeasoned Novice37Views3likes2CommentsHELP ! The issue started with a Battle Pass bug where weapons appeared as “unlocked” but I never actually received them. This caused a series of misunderstandings and eventually led to my level 50+ account progress being completely reset. Because the Battle Pass showed “weapon unlocked but not received,” I contacted EA online support to fix my account issue. The support agent helped me unbind my Steam account from an incorrect EA account. That EA account was not mine — I had never seen it before, nor do I remember linking it. After unbinding, I re-linked Steam to my correct EA account. But when I logged into Battlefield 6 today, I discovered that all my game progress had been reset: my original level 50+ became level 2; my purchased Battle Pass Pro progress disappeared; and all unlocked weapons, specialists, abilities, items, career records, play statistics, and achievements were wiped. Later, I found on the EA forums that re-linking an EA account may cause progress to reset. But I originally purchased the game and the Battle Pass on Steam. My Steam game is still there, my purchase history is still there, and my playtime is still there. The reason this happened is that my Steam account had been mistakenly linked to the wrong EA account. After unbinding and re-linking, all my data was left trapped in that incorrect account. This was not something I intentionally wanted to bleep up — it was caused by the system’s account-binding mechanism. I spent a lot of time leveling up and unlocking gear, and this is the first time I ever purchased a Battle Pass in the Battlefield series. But because of the original Battle Pass bug, my entire account ended up feeling like it was force-reset. Customer support refused to help because I had checked the disclaimer, but I have always launched the game through Steam. I hope EA can help restore my original gameplay experience — including all my progress, items, and Battle Pass levels. Me and my fiance have paid £130 for 2 copies of the game, Im PC Steam she is Xbox series X, just for matchmaking to break every other game. Either it loads just one of us into a game or neither of us and we need to completely restart the game. Had this exact same issue in battlefield 2042 and the BF6 Beta. Genuinely thought this would have been fixed by now....
