Battlefield 2042 and EA vs EU Directive
More than 2 weeks , the matching in game doesnt work for thousands ppl . The game has been non‑functional for more than two weeks, and the provider has issued no official communication or explanation. Under EU Directive 2019/770 on digital content and digital services, the trader must ensure proper functionality, provide updates, and fix service disruptions within a reasonable time.... Failure to restore functionality and failure to inform consumers constitute a breach of the provider’s obligations under EU consumer law. Because the service I paid for is unavailable and the trader has not provided a remedy, I am exercising my right to withdraw from the contract. I request a full refund due to the providers non‑compliance with EU consumer protection rules. Thanks for answer
BF 2042 black screen
Hi everyone, I have a problem with BF2042. I can't join a cross-play server in Conquest and Breakthrough mode. After selecting a map, the map won't load. A black screen appears and I'm kicked out to the main menu. I tried to fix the problem myself, but to no avail. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I deleted my save file. I uploaded and downloaded my save file to the cloud. I also connected my console to a network cable, but nothing helped. I reset the console with the power button for 7 seconds, checked the licenses and updates, and nothing. Is there any way to fix this??? PS5
What happened with the bullet drop on 2042?
So decided to play with a friend of mine and he does not have bf6 yet so we play 2042, mid game we both quit because we got bored due to fact it seems now like CoD, no bullet drop, players don't die when shot multiple time with sws, and even at 1200+ meters I hold my crosshairs dead on and still hit my target when I use to have to compensate for bullet drop, please dice, ea and other developers DO NOT TURN BATTLEFIELD IN TO CALL OF DUTY!!!!!!, yall already gave bf a CoD vibe with all those dumb add ones, and battle passes, steer clear from CoD vibes, 90% of the community hates it.Black Screen Bug in Battlefield 2042
I go to join a game, any mode that isn't Conquest, and it just doesn't let me. It searches for a few seconds, acts like it's going to connect to something, loads me into a black screen and then kicks me back to menu. I have a good PC that gets really good FPS on this game, good interenet connection, and I've tried just about everything to fix this issue (reinstalling, verifying game integrity, relaunching steam and EA, etc.) and nothing works. Hi all, It's important to note that I play on PS5 and on European servers. I got the game a couple of weeks ago, and it was fine until one day I tried to load into a game of conquest. It gave me the "match found" message and information about the map then it attempted to load into the game, black screen as usual and booted me back to the main menu. This now happens every time on any game mode except for community servers. Sometimes I get into lobbies that haven't started yet and are basically completely empty except for handful of people but very usually I just get booted back to the main menu. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Closing and re-opening it helps to put me to empty servers (it seems). I'm not sure what else I can do? I would like to know if this is a known issue or if this is something that is only shafting me any help is appreciated, thank youHazard Zone infinite loading screen on discarded
Looks like the issue has returned. Can't enter a HZ game (not even the lobby) since 6 hours. every attempt gets me in the same discarded map lobby with infinite loading screen, not a crash (audio and loading icons audible and visible) Tried, 1. Disabling crossplay 2. Restarting PC/Steam/ea app 3. Recovering ea app and deleting download cache Nothing has fixed it. Please fix this seemingly server-side issue. I am playing in EU.
Xbox to EA Play linking fails
Hi, I have the following issue, that I know is not unique... Login to Xbox on a PC, select Game Pass: shows issues with any EA Play game, account linking error. Login to EA account: shows no Xbox link in place, click on link account, receive an error that an Xbox account is already linked. Go to the Xbox account: remove the link with EA, go back to the EA account and try the account linking on again, and receive the same error that a link is already in place. Tried to contact EA support, there is only a chat bot with no means of getting human support. I contacted Xbox support, and because it's EA account linking, then EA need to reset it. Quick Play matchmaking is broken. After the countdown reaches 0, the screen goes black for a second and the game returns me back to the lobby/menu instead of joining the match. Server Browser works normally and I can join servers manually without problems. Things I already tried: * Enabling/disabling crossplay * Restarting game and EA App * Repairing/verifying game files * Reinstalling EA AntiCheat * Clearing EA App cache * Deleting/resetting Battlefield 2042 config folder * Changing DNS * Flushing DNS * Disabling overlays (Discord, EA, NVIDIA, MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner) * Running game as administrator * Trying different game modes * Network reset Issue still continues. Looks like many other players are having the same matchmaking problem right now.Matchmaking not working.
Yes that's about 20 days. We all understood matchmaking is not working properly or can't play what he want to play. What about EA support? What did they do and is there any info for us ? My graphics card drivers are up-to-date. My internet connection is good. I repaired the game through the EA app, performed EA app recovery, restarted the game, and even tried opening and closing the Task Manager, but nothing changed. but I can connect to the servers in the portal. I don't understand what's happening.
Broken Matchmaking
Im not doing anyone of your work around again they are stupid and shouldnt be required for the customer to fix the product thats supposed to be WORKING cant matchmake into conquest and sometimes if i do i can only play for 1 game then it boots u to main menu when trying to load into the next game this is not a system issue this is an issue on your end other have the same issue with other gamemodes as well this is clearly an issue on your end

Aww, isn't that convenient? The seemingly only way to contact the actual company we're paying happens to not be working (for ages already by the way). What a shame, now the customers have to talk amongst each others to try and fix EA's **bleep**. If anyone from EA does happen to read this: remove the **bleep** notification icons from the loadout menu, they're bugged out and have become a useless nuisance. Get rid of them. Can yall please fix the servers? Every lobby i try and join goes to black screen and kicks me back to the main screen. Im on ps5. I have uninstalled the game, reinstalled, cleared cache in safe mode, rebuilt the data drive in safe mode, power cycled the internet, renewed the license, etc. No fix.
BF 2042 Conquest only certain maps working
Looks like I'm having the same issue a lot of other folks are having. I'm on PC and when I try joining Conquest only certain maps work for me. If I try to play Reclaimed or Valpairiso I get the map loading music but it goes black after 5 seconds it kicks me back to the lobby. In the beginning I got an error code and the load music would keep playing even though I was back in the lobby. Now I don't even get an error code anymore, it just boots me back to lobby as if nothing happened. It's been very frustrating.
