EAAntiCheat is broken, making the game crash and the computer blue screen.
For several months now, whenever I manage to get BF2042 working, it's always through shaky workarounds and manipulating critical settings. Since purchasing the game, I have been experiencing a major stability issue caused by the wreck that is EAAntiCheat. Systematic crashes within the first two minutes of launching the game without any error reports, or blue screens ‘IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL’ pointing to eaanticheat.sys. I had the same problem with BF1, and last May, I managed to get BF2042 working again after several days of troubleshooting with the help of GPT. Adjusting PCores, updating the BIOS, downgrading graphics drivers, downclocking my components... I can't even remember which combination solved my problem. Last night, my game crashed, displaying an error message (for once) indicating that I needed to update my graphics drivers. So I innocently updated my drivers, and since then, I've been getting blue screens again with ‘IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL’ pointing to eaanticheat.sys at launch. After reactivating memory integrity (which I had to disable for the previous fix), I find myself back in the same situation I was in before last May: crashes without error messages within two minutes of playing. I'm really fed up. I've spent so much time since the release of their anti-cheat system troubleshooting, testing and performing risky manipulations that EA should pay me to do their job. It's truly scandalous for a company with so much money to offer such a pitiful experience, even more when mistreating its studios. If you have any solutions to offer, I'm all ears. I'm out of ideas. As things stand, there's no way I'm buying BF6, a new game ruined by this miserable anti-cheat system. My last hope lies with the gaming community, which has to suffer the consequences of this kind of production logic. Thank you for your time !Solved
BF2042 PC - EA Javelin AntiCheat Error 94
I really would like to play the **bleep** game but I keep getting this error. I have tried all the things recommended in the EA Anticheat article, reset my PC, etc. Still getting the error, attempted to create a brand new user and run from that user as well, still crashing. Now I'm cleaning out registry keys and leftover files using Revo to see if that fixes anything. Please fix this EA. Battlefield 2042 crashes to reboot – caused by eaanticheat.sys (Bugcheck 0xF7)
Hello EA Support, I’m experiencing consistent system crashes when playing Battlefield 2042. About 1–2 minutes after spawning into a match, the PC freezes and then reboots/BSODs. PC Constantly Blue-Screening Randomly During Gameplay
Before I state the main issue, I just want to say that I have been having this issue since the Battlefield 6 Beta. And because of it, I was unable to play the beta for almost the entirety of its two week runtime. After the beta ended I decided to get back into BF2042 to tide me over until the release of BF6, and to hopefully claim some rewards from the free pass since I missed out on most of the beta rewards. Having not played 2042 since its release, I was disappointed to find I was having the same issue that I faced in Battlefield 6. I know for certain that the reason I didn’t encounter this issue back during the release of 2042 is because the EA Anti-Cheat did not exist back then. Now with that out of the way, here is what I know about this issue: 9/10 times when I play the game on Steam, my PC will BSOD, and usually throw an error like: “IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0xA), What failed: ntoskrnl.exe” or some other error (IRQL/ntoskrnl.exe is the most common one I see). This happens during random points during gameplay or when loading into a match. After checking my dump files and the Event Viewer, the issue always stems from a Memory Access Violation Error (0xC0000005) caused by the eaanticheat.exe. After scouring online searching for a solution, I believe I have tried every suggested fix I could find on here, Reddit, the Microsoft support forums, and a plethora of YouTube videos. I have tried: Uninstalling/reinstalling the anti-cheat and the game itself (restarting the PC between installing) Toggling my overlays (Nvidia, Discord, and Steam) Toggling memory core isolation Making exceptions for the game and the anti cheat in Windows Defender Running the EA app, game, and anti cheat as admin Verifying the integrity of game files Running hardware and memory diagnostics Scanning and repairing corrupted system files (there were none) Updating drivers and Bios Rolling back Nvidia Drivers I am just so tired of debugging this game and I am posting this on here, PRAYING that someone may have a solution or is having similar issues like me and has yet to find a solution. Most of the forums I have seen similar issues on are 3 years old or older and don’t really provide any fixed that have worked for me. Heavy packet loss in BF2042
Hello, I have in BF2042 heavy packet loss. Sometimes the game runs smoothly, but 80% the % i have heavy lag spikes constantly in-game. Even traffic shows heavy changes. Error r 0xc0000005 after power outage

Unable to connect at all to BF2042

Exposure map crash after latest game update
Hello, after the latest game update I cannot play anymore on Exposure map (no matter the game mode) because it's constantly crashing with the same error at loading screen. Even solo/coop and Portal don't work. Failed to launch game "Error on our end"
I tried playing 2042 but every time i boot the game its a black windowed application where briefly the title "battle field 2042" is shown in the top left corner of the application but very quickly loses the name and that has been the immediate tell tale that the game wont load after numerous attempts to boot. Looking at you tube videos and reddit i disabled EA overlay, NVidia overlay ( and enabled) and the game fails to boot saying error on our end. I attempted to repair the game installation, no improvement. I uninstalled the game and re installed the game, no changes. Running the game as administrator does not correct the concern. I attempted to file EA error reporter, not sure if i will hear back from that. Game wont start, tell me to log in then that I dont have internet.
Every time I try to start either BF2042 or BFV, this window pops up. If i put in my info, it tells me I dont have internet. Tried repairing the games, rebooting, reinstalling the EA app. The games worked fine on tuesday. BF2042 is on steam and BFV is on the EA app. Makes no difference where I launch from. BF2042 launches fine on another PC in the household, so not any network firewall blocking it. Windows Defender Threat Detection
Started getting Windows Defender Threat Detected today when launching BF2042. Launched the game three times to check it was only happening with 2042. Which is is. Any other game does not trigger the threat detection (was thinking it might have been Nvidia Overlay or something) IOt also triggers without Nvidia Overlay Active.
