Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!
Critical EAAC Anti-Cheat Vulnerability (China Region Exclusive)
There is a severe functional vulnerability in EAAC Anti-Cheat that affects all players in the China region: when launching any game using EAAC Anti-Cheat, a mandatory pop-up message appears stating "Anti-Cheat needs to be updated." However, even after manually downloading and reinstalling the latest version of EAAC, the issue persists. Through testing, the root cause has been confirmed: upon launching the game, the EAAC Anti-Cheat program automatically rolls back its own files to an older version, resulting in repeated update prompts and failure to access the game normally. Currently, the only temporary workaround is to disconnect from the internet during the EAAC Anti-Cheat startup loading phase to successfully enter the game. This vulnerability has impacted all games utilizing EAAC Anti-Cheat (such as the Battlefield series), severely disrupting the gaming experience. Cant get past User Agreement screen - Battlefield 4 (ps4)
I'm on ps4, downloaded Battlefield 4 for the first time. I cannot get past the User Agreement/ EA's Privacy and Cookie Policy screen. Not responsive to any buttons at all. The loading icon at top right is showing and working. Closing and restarting ps4 does nothing. It appears several others are having this issue on ps4 and pc. Please fix
Battlefield 1 stuttering after anticheat update
Good evening, after the last update the game experiences constant fps drops and stuttering, especially when aiming, this did not happen before the update, I tried to play closing everything, msi afterburner and other programs in the background and it remains the same. my pc is an i5 7600 msi rx 480 gaming x 8gb gpu 16 gb ram
No online multiplayer privileges
I own Battlefield 1 digitally and also have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes EA Play. My EA account and Xbox account are linked. I can play Star Wars Battlefront II online without any issues. However, when I try to play Battlefield 1 online multiplayer, I get an error saying I don’t have the privilege to access online features. I’ve checked my privacy settings and have it on adult with no restrictions. I’ve also tried the trick where you start BF4 and then try going into BF1 and it didn’t work. Help.
Battlefield 1 Unable To Connect Issue Please Help
Dear EA Support, I am having a persistent connectivity issue with Battlefield 1. While I can play Battlefield 2042 without any problems on the same account and PC, Battlefield 1 stays offline and gives a "Go Online" error. Steps I’ve already taken: Reinstalled the game. Tried different internet connections and changed DNS. Cleared EA App cache and repaired game files. Since Battlefield 2042 works fine, I suspect a specific account-side synchronization issue with my Battlefield 1 profile. Hello all I tried with EA help and some persons in chat to resolve my problem, but it seems they can't fix it so i'll try it here. I was playing battlefield in the past a lot via origin on PC. I didn't play for some long time and now it seems origin is gone and i had to install the EA app to replace origin. So i did and now he doesn't find my games anymore. When i start the game with the icon on the startscreen of my pc it gives this eror: So than i took my DVDroms, because i bought them in a game shop always original and used the product codes to add them manually to the libary: But than this error occurs if i press confirm: So it seems that my games are still on my pc, but i can't play for the moment because the EA app doesn't want to start the games or thinks i'm not the original user. Can someone help me please? Hacked account: 365-day cooldown is punishing ME (Case #229886962)
v’m posting here because I’ve hit a dead end with support and I honestly don't know what else to do. The short version: My account was hacked. While the hacker had it, they linked their own Steam account to my EA account. I managed to get my EA account back and secure it, but now I’m stuck. Because the hacker linked their profile, EA’s system slapped a 365-day cooldown on linking a new Steam account. Now I can’t link my actual Steam account (where I play everything) because of a timer the hacker started. The support loop: I have been trying to fix this for over a month. I’ve contacted live chat multiple times. I have provided ownership receipts. I have transaction logs showing I’ve spent thousands of dollars on this account. I have proven the timeline of the hack. Every time I talk to an agent, they tell me they are "flagging it to the internal team" and that I should wait for an email. The email never comes. I’m stuck in an endless loop where I get escalated, ghosted, and then have to start all over again with a new agent who tells me the same thing. At this point, EA’s security policy is protecting the hacker’s changes rather than helping the verified owner. I’m locked out of content I paid a lot of money for because support refuses to manually override a cooldown caused by a security breach. Can a Community Manager please look at Case #229886962? I just need a human with actual permissions to review the evidence I've already uploaded and unlink the hacker's restriction so I can play my games. So basically I have an old account and wanted to update to a new account. I bought BF6 and thought it would be best to link it to my new account with my new udated details. Long story short, now I have lost all my purschses and data. Cannot unlink from new account to go back to old account to recover data for "6 MONTHS". So basically, I am now banned from playing for 6 Months. No one in support can fix it. So for 6 months, Ill be back playing COD as this is a joke. No warnign when unlink and linking as to what may happen. EA you are a joke. You treat your clients like this??? Well goodbye to EA forever.
Battlefield 4 - Swimming Bug Resolved
Swimming bug resolved Hello fellow Battlefield 4 players. I feel your pain. I too ran into a problem swimming while under water during the SOUTH CHINA SEA campaign. Scenario: You are tasked with finding a sinking ship’s hard drive, to see what may have happened. You pull a small boat into a hole in the hull of the ship. There you make your way to the hard drive. Along the way you need to go through a lower deck, which is beneath water. To do so, you must swim underwater and navigate to the appropriate location. Problem: You start to swim and then get stuck. If you stop your forward progression, you are pushed backwards. This sequence adds nothing for your gaming experience. It only build hostility and frustration. I do not know why game developers even bother with such nonsense. The only reason I can think of is to make the game a bit more eerie, because you swim past floating corpses. Resolution: Some people suggested pausing and then resuming the game. This will only get you so far. I found that you have to assign and use your look up, look down, look right, and look left key-binds. Don’t turn to the left, look towards your left, etc. After I did this, I was able to conquer the challenge in about 10 minutes and continue the game. RealHelsing out …
