Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!
BF1 Doesn't start at all.
Hi, Today i've installed the game, and just don't wanna run at all. EA App installed, logged in. Checked the files with Steam, all good. It showing the loading screen, then after 15 secs the loading screen disappear and the EA App pops up, at the home page. Everything is up to date, drivers and such. Thanks.
Problem with BF3 Server-Browser - wrong playercounts on many servers
Hello, there is a major problem going on with the Server-Browser. Multible Servers show wrong Player-counts. So for example this server here shows always >50 players, but its empty: https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/servers/show/pc/b8f941dd-3dc1-4d08-abfc-b3d78afe5eb3/JAH-Warriors-09-Conquest-Maps-Votemap-64-Slots/ This error results in people joining and leaving all the time. Because there are multible servers showing the same "wrong-player-count-error" I dont think the cause is from the servers itself. I think the BF3-Masterserver, that manages the serverbrowser has a problem. Could someone from EA please restart the service, or look for the problem? I know BF3 is a old game, but there are still many players. I for myself (as a passionated chopperpilot) waited years and years so finally a BF-Version came back with an attack-chopper again, but got hardly dissapointed from BF2042. The gunner has no TV-rocket any more, and the flight-physics was much better in BF3..... So if is not possible for EA to get a chopper-experience back like we have in BF3, atleast please make the Server-Browser work again. Otherwise me (and the rest of the community) would also be happy with "BF3 remastered" = Same physics, but better grafics 😉
Battlefield 3: M1911 Pistols in 2025 (PC)
Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, so I apologize, if it isn't. I would like to get the three M1911 Pistols in Battlefield 3 that are awarded for having played Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I own a copy of Bad Company 2 on the same account as Battlefield 3 and I have played a little bit, however, I have still not gotten the 3 M1911 Pistols. Is it possible to receive the pistols in 2025? I would really like to have them, these are the only infantry weapons that I don't have in BF3. Kind regards, vasooo98
Bf1 Unobtainable Weapons
This is a real shot in the dark here but I don’t have anything else I can do. I am trying to complete the list of weapons in bf1 but I obviously cannot because some weapons are still unobtainable. I don’t expect anyone to still care, but it would mean the world to me if some method became available to unlock these forgotten weapons which for me include the coup coup and the bfv preorder weapons.
Battlefield 3 only in Russian langauge
Hello all, so after years i wanted to download and play again this goergous game. But there is only Russian language pack to install in this "beautiful" EAapp. Years ago when i pre-ordered the BF3 there were options to choose the language. The copy i ordered was physical disc from local store, not from cheap websites/russian version. My region is post-soviet country - Slovakia but they are not ruling our region anymore. So my question is, how can i change the language? There are some 10 years old videos but they seem out-dated a bit. Thank you
CONSOLES / MOUSE AND KEYBOARD SUPPORT for New battlefield 2025
Hello! Here I am referring to the discussion about mouse and keyboard support on consoles for the new battlefield that is currently in the works. With great hope and fear that this time EA and DICE will do whatever it takes to get support on consoles because over 10,000 players signed a petition for 2042 and NOTHING HAPPENED. With the CROSS PLAY option, every game deserves to have this support. What is your opinion on this? I personally have my doubts about it. Can DICE or EA tell us anything about this?
Repeated disconnects from Battlefield 1
Been having this issue since the update that introduced EA anticheat a few months ago. After playing in any game, any server, for anywhere from 15mins to an hour, will be booted randomly, with the message "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION TO THE EA SERVERS. Online features will be unavailable. Please try again. Please check ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information." Upon hitting the "Go Online" button, I immediately am reconnected and can join the same or another server, but will be booted in even less time. Ping is reliably 50-75, no packet loss, hardwired internet, have multiple people on my network both wired and wireless playing this game on different devices who do not have this issue. No firewall trips, full access, have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled BF1, EA app, and BF4, run countless Steam file verifications, and issue persists. Issue does not happen on BF4. I have 300 hours in this game, love it to death and back, and it is now unplayable. Any help appreciated.
Ultimate Shortcut Bundle not working?
I just bought BF4 a few days ago on XB1, and yesterday I bought the Ultimate Shortcut Bundle since it was so cheap in the Deals with Gold XB1 sale. My problem is that it seems that the content I paid to unlock is still unavailable to me in the game. I'm a noob when it comes to this game so I possibly may have completely misunderstood the purpose of the BF4 shortcuts, but I thought that they would unlock all non-expansion pack weapons, including attachments such as scopes, grips, suppressors etc... Could someone please help me?
