Battlefield V cannot launch after uninstalling Battlefield Lab
I am seeking assistance regarding a "DirectX device creation error" that renders Battlefield V completely unplayable. The error claims my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU does not support DirectX 11.0. Standard troubleshooting steps have failed to resolve the issue. I have already utilized Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the NVIDIA drivers and performed a clean installation via the NVIDIA App. Additionally, I have cleared the EA App cache, verified the game file integrity on Steam, and reinstalled Battlefield V today, but the error persists and the game still will not launch. This problem originated last year after I participated in the Battlefield Lab alpha and beta test. Immediately following the uninstallation of Battlefield Lab, Battlefield V became entirely unlaunchable, producing this specific error. I do not have Battlefield 2042 or Battlefield 6 installed now, so I cannot confirm if other Frostbite engine titles are similarly affected. I have already researched this issue on the EA Forum and Reddit, and I noticed that other affected players seem to have no effective solution to this day: https://forums.ea.com/discussions/battlefield-v-en/after-deleting-bf6-beta-i-cant-play-bf5/12501303 https://www.reddit.com/r/BattlefieldV/comments/1t6xije/help_battlefield_v_showing_rtx_4050_does_not/ It appears that the uninstallation of Battlefield Lab inadvertently corrupted , DirectX components, or shared files, making the game unplayable. Because standard troubleshooting and driver reinstalls have proven entirely ineffective, I would appreciate any guidance on how to identify and rectify the specific underlying modifications caused by the test client. Thank you.23Views0likes0Comments- 3Views0likes0Comments
BFV disconnects from EA servers after 20–30 minutes
Hello everyone, I have been experiencing a persistent issue with Battlefield V (Steam version). After approximately 20–30 minutes of gameplay, the game disconnects with the following message: "You have lost connection to the EA servers." Only once did I receive Error Code 1000. Every other disconnect has only displayed the message above. I have already tried the following: ・Reinstalled Battlefield V. ・Reset the Battlefield V settings folder. ・Repaired EA AntiCheat. ・Reinstalled the EA App and cleared its cache. ・Updated my Realtek Ethernet driver to the latest version. ・Disabled IPv6. ・Changed my DNS to Google DNS. ・Adjusted the recommended network adapter settings (including disabling Energy Efficient Ethernet). ・Temporarily uninstalled my antivirus software. Additional information: I am using a wired Ethernet connection. Other online games, including VALORANT, work perfectly without any disconnections. While testing, I continuously pinged 8.8.8.8 during gameplay. Even when Battlefield V disconnected, the ping remained stable at 5–11 ms with no packet loss or timeouts. Steam remains online. The EA App sometimes stays online, and sometimes goes offline, but the same issue also occurs while the EA App remains online. At this point, I have ruled out most common troubleshooting steps, but the problem still persists.18Views1like1CommentRegarding submitting a new support case
I filed an appeal right after my account was permanently banned, yet there has been no progress for an entire month. My appeal status has remained "under review" without any further updates. Now I am trying to create a new support case, but the submit button does not respond at all after I fill in all information. Could you please let me know if this is a webpage bug, or if player appeals are no longer being accepted?quqitaba2 days agoSeasoned Newcomer28Views0likes4CommentsCorrupt Cloud data
My account has encountered an EC:10607 error, with the system indicating that the cloud data is damaged. I suspect that multiple device logins have caused an archive conflict. I have independently completed various actions, such as repairing game files, cleaning up EA’s cache, disabling OneDrive cloud syncing, and modifying the permissions of the archive folder. However, the issue remains unresolved. I request that staff manually clean up the damaged cloud archive for this game, with the hope that this will reset the cloud archive service. I have some weapons that have got level 10. ZK383 ,Lewis Gun and Type 99. But the system did not provide me the level 10 master task. I have repeatedly sought help from EA help but to no avail. I have a problem with missing class mastery assignments in Battlefield V. All four of my classes (Assault, Medic, Support, Recon) have been at level 20 for years, but I have never received the corresponding proficiency and mastery assignments in my "Assignments" list.Solved55Views0likes1CommentSTUTTERING in Battlefield 5
Dear All, First, after no problems for 100+ hours of play, this started this early morning, out of the blue. The game loads awfully late: main menu and server selection, and joining works fine. BUT when the deploy menu comes up, the game STUTTERS: 3 seconds work, 3 seconds stop, 3 seconds work again. Even nearly impossible to move the cursor. If i manage to deploy, same during the game. It is unplayable. Let me remind you it was not like that yesterday. (or for months). No hardware change, no new updates. I played last night and woke up to this :) Repaired the game; Uninstalled and installed again. Reinstalled EA app. Reinstalled and repaired the Cheat add-on. Rolled back Nvidia driver, then updated to the latest one. DX 12 was already closed; checked. Already running as "administrator," checked. Vsync on/off tried. Checked "best performance" options in Windows and Nvidia Center. Game Overlay was already closed, checked. I don't know what to do more. I like the game and was already playing. :( Your help is appreciated. Cheers.Solved78Views1like3CommentsKar98k can't unlock 98k on recon

My account was stolen in early 2024, and by the time I discovered it, the Battlefield V in my account had already been banned. I have no idea what happened. At that time, my account did not have multiple protections. I suspect that the other party stole my Outlook email account password and then used it to steal my Activision account. During the years when my account was banned, I have been appealing, but the issue has not been resolved. This not only prevented me from playing Battlefield V, but also left me feeling very depressed. I believe that the issues caused by account security should not be solely borne by me. Now that I have the conditions to activate multiple protections, I have been requesting the official unblocking of my account. Since 2024, I have applied for unblocking 20 times on the official website, but no one understands my situation. The official is also unwilling to send personnel to review my issues, and only appears to treat all banned individuals equally with colored glasses. Especially after the appeal at the end of last month, I received a reply in my email saying that they still believed their punishment for me was right, but on the official website, my ban record showed no ban history. I thought the authorities had brought me justice, but when I happily downloaded Battlefield V and restarted the game, the EA app prompted me that the game had been banned. I repeatedly refreshed the official website to check my ban record, but it kept showing that there was no ban record. At this moment, I finally understood that they had just closed the entrance for me to appeal, so I couldn't appeal anymore. It was really a good tactic. Ignoring my experience and even closing the entrance for my appeal is the behavior of the world's top gaming companies. When old games cannot create more benefits for them, they will no longer care about us players, and they may even be too lazy to spend time learning about your experiences. In their opinion, I should rebuild my account and purchase Battlefield V again, and then shut up. Actually, the cost is not high, but! If I really did that, then I would have compromised towards a wrong outcome! If every player compromises and does not receive proper and friendly treatment, what is the purpose of EA's existence? Just taking our money and then abusing and insulting us ordinary players? I will not compromise. I will keep every appeal email and fight against unfair rulings until the authorities realize his wrongdoing. Finally, I would like to reiterate my demand: to retract your erroneous judgment! Lift my five bans on the battlefield!WuMujinlong13 days agoRising Novice113Views0likes8CommentsWrongful Permanent Ban on Battlefield V
Dear EA Terms of Service Team, I am submitting this final appeal after all previous ones were rejected. My Battlefield V account was permanently banned on May 7, 2026. I have never cheated or used any hacks, macros, or third-party tools. I am a legitimate paying player who has spent over 100 USD / 600 RMB on weapon skins. I registered in 2022 and have played 666 hours legitimately. I live in China and use a game accelerator, which may have caused IP changes leading to a false positive. I have no reason to cheat. This account has been part of my life for 4 years. Losing it after so much time and money invested is heartbreaking. I kindly request one final thorough manual review of my gameplay logs. I swear I am innocent. Please restore my account, progress, and purchased items.SolvedXiHai267115 days agoRising Novice65Views0likes3CommentsMy battlefield 1 and 5 account was wrongly banned
Hello, gentlemen. I once played BF1 and 5 in an Internet cafe, which led to my account being banned. It might be because EAAC mistook the management software in the background of the Internet cafe for cheating software. I've heard that you can check whether players are truly cheating based on in-game data. I sincerely ask you to review my in-game data and unblock my account. I'm being wronged!Solved59Views0likes2Comments- 41Views0likes1Comment
[PC][EAAC] BFV Permanent Ban Appeal - Requesting Manual Review
Hello EA team, I am writing to request a manual review of my permanent ban on Battlefield V. Account Info: Platform: PC (EA App) | Current EA ID: AchengHua666 | ID at time of ban: NewB_Hua | Ban Date: January 2025. I changed my ID after submitting my second appeal; the ID at the time of the violation was NewB_Hua. Previous Appeals: I submitted two appeals via EA Help. I received a confirmation email for the second appeal over a month ago but have not received any further update since. Why I Believe This Is a False Positive: I want to present my gameplay data. My account "NewB_Hua" is publicly visible on Battlefield Tracker. My overall KD is around [0.51] —stable over time with no abnormal spikes. My matches before the ban (January 2025) show normal performance consistent with my historical average. My Request: Could the team please check the specific match and timestamp that triggered the ban on "NewB_Hua", and compare that match against my overall historical data? If a specific program was flagged, please let me know so I can avoid it in the future. I have been playing Battlefield since [BF1] and have invested hundreds of hours in the franchise. I am only asking for a human second look at my case. Thank you.SolvedAchengHua66617 days agoSeasoned Newcomer111Views0likes8Comments- DuNkrK23 days agoSeasoned Newcomer67Views0likes4Comments
