Player position changes screws up skill caps
I just noticed this but DO NOT CHANGE ANY PLAYERS POSITION AFTER THE SEASON. I had transferred a 5 star elite LEDG to REDG and they went from zero skill caps to so many skill caps like I basically recruited a 3 star normal rate player. Thanks a lot EA. This needs to be fixed ASAPwith fixing all previous position transfers. I don’t know how you would do it but give us a break. The game is not enjoyable at all in its current state. Ball snap issue even though there is a work around in most cases with OL options, can’t change existing player numbers, can’t do in season position changes, post season position changes screw up the player progression for worse, dealbreaker for playing style is way off, playing time deal breaker is way too strict for recruiting new players, can’t do free practice in dynasty with multiple users so can’t try out playbooks and make favorite plays, I don’t care about this as much but my son is young and plays on freshman to learn and he said he misses that the edge rushers were able to not go off sides in 2025 but now they do, I don’t know about that one being a big problem for most players but he wants me to bring it up because that’s a feature he wants turned on. Just seems like EA didn’t pay at all for beta testing and letting pre orders do all the heavy lifting. I will have to go back to 2025 because if you can’t change player positions without this huge penalty it’s not worth it. I screwed up about 25-30 players skill caps after the season as I switched a ton of new recruits and existing players and the whole first year was a waste.Dynasty Trophy Room Not Working on PS5
Do trophies only appear in the trophy room if head coach in dynasty? I earned several trophies in my first season as offensive coordinator, including Broyles Award, and none are appearing in my trophy room. I was signed in and there were no issues otherwise. Trophy room is just empty, despite the alerts and banners to indicate all the new trophies unlocked. This was one of the best updates to the game this year, so I’m disappointed it appears to not work.Field goals
I tried kicking a field goal and after hiking the ball and setting the power meter, the ball was snapped but the kicker never kicked the ball. The O line and D line kept blocking each other and the play never completed. This went on for several minutes before I left the game and restarted it. It has not happened with every field goal so it doesn’t seem to be a global glitch. I was playing a Dynasty season game as Akron vs Toledo in Week 5 in PS5. I took a video of it but the file is too big to post. Happy to email it to EA if provided with an email address.Custom Playbooks Not Working
When creating a custom playbook, the "Coach Suggestions" section in-game always present the same pool of plays, regardless of your star ratings/selections in the "My Gameplan" section in the custom playbook menu. Obviously, spending lots of time on creating a custom playbook with unique ratings for the coach suggestions, and then for it not to work is quite frustrating. Let me know if I can provide any more details! I've tried raising and lowering the adjustments, even going as far as having several plays at "100" or "5 stars" and the same 15 plays appear for each situation (1st down, 2 & long, etc.). Seems like others are having this issue too. I’ll continue testing and trying things out, but this definitely seems like a bug/issue.

Platform: PS5 Version: College Football 26 – Early Access (July 2025) Mode: Practice Mode & Gameplay Date/Time: Ongoing --- 1. 🧊 Practice Mode Freeze – Snap Bug In Practice Mode, after several plays, the QB can no longer snap the ball. The game appears to freeze at the line of scrimmage, and you’re forced to pause and either: Move the ball to a new location, or Select a different play This happens consistently after some repetitions and breaks training flow completely. --- 2. 🎯 Zone Coverage Visual Glitch Sometimes after selecting a defensive play, the zone assignments remain stuck on screen, even after the snap. The glowing zone paths don’t disappear, causing a persistent overlay that’s confusing during gameplay. --- 3. 🔁 Defensive Shift Glitch – Misalignment After DL + LB Adjustments When you do the following on defense: Pinch the defensive line Shift linebackers upward ...the players visibly shift to incorrect locations (e.g., left or right of where they should be), while their zone assignments remain the same, causing: Major mismatches Players taking too long to reach their zones Play blown before the snap To fix this, you have to audible or reset the play. The grade your players give for playing time the stage before the transfer portal needs to be looked into. Players are leaving because they are seeing a poor grade for playing time, but it's because they are still counting the players who haven't left yet. They need to be able to know what their playing time will look like once others leave. If I look at those players who left in the transfer portal because of playing time, now they show a positive grade for playing time.Unable to persuade players from leaving
I’ve come across an issue where after Year 1 you cannot persuade any players to stay. Every underclassmen leaves and ever transfer leaves. It doesn’t even allow the option to try and convince them. The playing style grades are completely broken. The stats are wrong, the grades and rankings are incorrect. This is causing players to transfer and missing out on top recruitis. Playing style rankings and the stats of other teams must be fixed. I shouldn't have to pass for 700 yards to have a decent grade.
Custom Playbooks/Coach Suggestions Don’t Work In Dynasty
I created a playbook and rated the plays in gameplan for every situation. Coach suggestions are the same 6 plays over and over, regardless of down/distance/situation. Also it defaults to suggesting Onside Kick every time. Makes the game unplayable until this is patched.Game stuck on pre snap after the update
I’m writing to report a persistent and game-breaking issue I’m experiencing in College Football 26, despite updating the game to the latest patch. Every time I start a game—whether in Dynasty, Play Now, or other modes—the gameplay becomes stuck in the pre-snap adjustment screen. I am unable to snap the ball, make audibles, or exit the pre-play overlay. The QB remains frozen behind center with no way to proceed. Even after restarting the console and reinstalling the game, the issue persists across multiple play sessions. I’ve already tried: Snapping with the correct input (X on PS5), Backing out of the pre-play menu (Circle), Switching players and toggling menus, Full reboot of the system, And applying the most recent July 15 title update. None of these have resolved the issue. This makes the game effectively unplayable for me at this time. I am requesting that EA Sports investigate this further or provide a solution or ETA for a fix in a future patch. This glitch significantly impacts the gameplay experience and undermines the excitement of finally having college football back. Thank you for your time and attention to this issue. Auto-Subs doesn’t respond to any custom settings or editing the default settings. No matter what, it randomly subs QBs in and out, even when there’s no wear and tear or injury. Which brings me to the next bug, Wear and Tear doesn’t work at all. Not a single player has showed any signs of wear and tear after five hours of gameplay. I’ve played with the frequency, turned it on and off and on. Nothing at all.
