RTG crashes
EA College Football 27 — Repeated PS5 Crashes (CE-108255-1) Is anyone else experiencing repeated PS5 crashes in College Football 27, particularly since the October 29 title update (1.016)? I'm experiencing crashes during active gameplay in multiple Road to Glory careers and Play Now exhibition games. Even creating a completely new RTG build hasn't resolved the problem. I've already cleared the PS5 cache, rebuilt the database, switched to Performance Mode, completely reinstalled the game, and verified that the software is updated. Other PS5 games run normally. I've submitted a detailed report to EA but haven't received a response. I'd especially appreciate any acknowledgment from an EA community manager or information about whether this issue is being investigated.
RTG QB Bug
I'm playing RTG as a QB. Sometimes when I do a pass play, my QB gets stuck in what I assume is scrambling/running mode, where I get popups for "STIFF ARM" or "SPIN" but I can't throw the ball. Even if I let go of all the buttons and my QB resets himself into a passing stance, nada. I have to run the ball. (But by this time it's a sack for minus 15 yards. Heh.) I've reset my controller, turned off my mouse, closed Steam from the background...Oct. 29 update
Ok EA it shouldn't be this hard. All previous updates should have a guardrail or firewall in place so the next update doesn't completely bug, or destroy all previous and save files. I have multiple RTG position files actively save and yesterday's update with the new legend builds plus uniforms corrupted my saved data. Not to mention now if you create a player or build no matter the position, it only gives you 1 running style or animation. For me I like my skill players with the traditional ball carry style and athletic run style, yet it's only allowing loosey goosey no matter what u pick. The kicker is that it even rewrote my animations for all files saved b4 the update. This is just lazzzzy work EA. John Madden would be turning over in his grave if he knew in 2026 after decades of sports games it's taking almost 6 months to debug the basic structure of modes in a game. It going to be time for College 28 to drop, this should be done. You guys and girls should be working and fully focused on 2028 by now. Can we please get pass this so the community and players can enjoy Dynasty and RTG. Just play whatever kind of way they want to play they want to play across the board and just have fun. Every time I go into road to glory a error message pops up and takes me to the upgrade screen and every time I exit out of it another error message pops up about my previous purchase being interrupted but I never attempted a purchase and takes me back to where I was and the cycle repeats over and over I’ve tried to restart the game and my console even delete it and redownload it and none has worked I think it’s because I accidentally clicked to make a micro transaction and back out of it and it’s been doing ever since.RTG Experience so far
I have been enjoying playing Road to Glory so far. I play on Freshman (cause that's my personal preference, I am good at CFB but I prefer it easy) I have been playing TE, LEDG and FS. What I like: I like the way we have the Heisman ceremony (my TE won so it was cool to watch) and I like how LEDG high school plays. I also like the TE career. I also like the premade builds of the legends. What I don't like: The practices. The game chooses it for you when in previous years you got to pick between a select few. Maybe this could be addressed in an update? So like as a TE for example we can practice blocking and not just drills on our pass catching. I also don't like in the practices the bug which tells you to pick a defense play and wait for offense? I'm playing as a TE? And one trophy the Rivalries one for Buffalo vs UMass didn't appear in my trophy room when my TE beat UMass two times. All in all though I am loving Road to Glory in what I have played so far.Bug in RTG
There’s a bug when going to practice mode or a position battle the will over lap with defensive plays and if you try to pick one the screen goes blank, and once you get a position battle you can’t advance until you complete the position battle, which I can’t do cause of the bug so now I’m just stuck and can’t do anything with my player.Road to Glory, Practice/ Picking plays glitch.
I'm currently playing Road to Glory, with my Qb, during my practice I'm picking plays for the defense then it goes to a black screen, I pause it, then I get to pick my offense play. It's feel like I'm cheating get to pick the defense plays but also fusrsting it takes so long to get though the practice continuously pausing. It would be nice to have a football that doesn't have so many simple bugs that ruin the experience for the players. This being the only way to play main stream football games through EA.Are the Developers aware/care
EA_David EA_Kent I am genuinely curious if the developers are aware of the issues W&T has caused to the RTG community specifically the Career and Season components of it. If you look at forums from last year I don't think you will find a single post praising that feature yet instead of listening to the community it seems they punished us and made it a ridiculous XP penalty to not have it. I enjoyed it in cfb25, but was forced to turn it off in 26 and now in 27 I have no choice but to accept that I will only be able to play RTG for 2 seasons (unless ofc I want to play as a walking corpse or stay level 80 forever since they removed the XP sliders aswell). Would love just one response from the EA admin community to address this and let us know if it is being listened to at all or if we should just accept it will never be worked on.EA can’t the game recognize Slants?
Simple Road to Glory challenges. In every game I have them I’m stuck going up the field using every slant I can find doesn’t work. Not only that but if my QB is lucky enough to pass to me maybe I have a chance. It’s been this way since launch. I recently applied and of course I was denied but y’all need some out sources play testers. This is abysmal it’s almost thanksgiving 😫CFB 27 RTG
This is hands down the most unenjoyable RTG I have ever played. I’ve been playing this mode since NCAA 10 and earlier back when you couldn't even manually upgrade your player and this feels worse. Look, I work a blue collar job, have a wife, and have a kid on the way. I don't get to game like I used to. If I’m lucky, I get to play once a week for a couple of hours, maybe twice if I can stretch it. I don't care about Wear and Tear, and I don't care to sweat on Heisman when it comes to RTG. Dynasty is a whole different animal, I go there when I want a real challenge. But in RTG? I just want to sit back, demolish teams, and put up absurd numbers that don't even make sense. So tell me why I’m sitting here playing on Heisman (with Wear and Tear turned off), putting up 300 receiving yards, 2 tds, and an A+ performance grade, only to be handed a measly 160 skill points? Every. Single. Game. What an absolute joke. The mode feels like a total chore now instead of a escape. If we just had simple XP sliders, this wouldn't even be an issue. Why is EA actively penalizing players in a single player, offline mode for playing the game the way they want to play it? Will EA change this next game? The last two games were perfect for player progression. I just don't get how you mess up this badly.RTG is actually infuriating
The list of glitches is beyond belief. You can't even kneel the game out as qb anymore. Your star rb won't finish the game because of wear and tear. You call a play and your receivers run a complete different play. Even if they get wide open, a defender teleports and taps him so the ball falls out. Glitch where your qb gets taken out on 4th down so you watch your own character get sacked from the sidelines. I don't know why I continue playing these terrible EA games. Lose the license please god. Football deserves better than this scripted bull.
