Gameplay stuttering/freezing on PS5
I'm looking for advise on how to get College FB 27 on PS5 running properly. I have deleted cache, hardwired and reset router. I just disconnected from internet and deleted file. Reinstalled game before connecting back to server, but the game continues to lag/stutter hard. To a point of it costing me turnovers. It has been 2 months and there is no update fixing the issue. How am I to play this game? Did I miss the memo that this year's game is a cash grab? What really irks me are the streamers who support this garbage and make the game look fabulous, when in fact it isn't. There are thousands of players dealing with all kinds of major issues and no result. But we get an update for Coach Prime! That's awesome, I'll load my game up to look at the coach. Just what I wanted. Players, we gotta do something. We can't continue to give this company our hard earn money for a game that isn't loading or playing properly, We can't nor shouldn't. If you really look at EA Sports as a whole, the Public Investment Fund led by a private sector consortium in Saudi Arabia, do they really want to give players the best College Football experience? The honest answer is right in our face, NO! As long as we continue to THINK the game well eventually get fix, guess what here's a glimpse at College FB 28. I feel so disappointed. I thought this is the year they get it right, no. It's about us giving them the money. I hope whoever reads this really understands what this is about. Every year the game isn't going to get better only worse. The PIF doesn't need more money, they need to understand we the consumer had enough and we don't buy any EA sports title moving forward. My Dynasty stopped working today
EA you need to fix this, please. I thought everything was okay being that it didnt affect me. Then today, error, back to the main menu. Cannot play Dynasty or Road to Glory. I assume this is because I used custom team builder teams. Now my league thats almost 7 years in, cannot be played. I tried clearing cache, clearing local data, restarting game. The only other option would be to delete and re-download. Anyone else have a fix or are we all just waiting in EA? That update ruined our game.Does anyone at EA read these…?
It’s been 6 days… tried to reach out to support multiple times, messages on x to both of their accounts, tried reinstalling, rebooting my console, testing other games, shutting down my WiFi completely and rewiring it and nothing. Single teambuilder online dynasty and I’ve been locked out since Thursday. Zero, zilch, and EA hasn’t said a peep about it. 3 years in, finally getting good talent, spent hours making a teambuilder school and I can’t even use it.Goodbye EA sports
Unfortunately my time playing football games made by EA has come to end tonight. This is the 5th time in a row, on 5 consecutive nights, THE FIFTH TIME, I have "lost connection" to the EA servers trying to finish this game. I'm on a wired connection that is strong as ever. There's no reason for it. The game is literally unplayable. And you clowns at ea are doing nothing about it. I will resort back to espn 2k5 to get my football gaming needs. My post regarding a 4th quarter crash bug triggered by GetDunovoTimeTicketRequest was flagged as spam and deleted. I don't care about getting credit, I just want to pass this along so the team can fix it. Bought the game last night but couldn't launch the game because I kept getting similar errors to the one below: This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC.: ReWASD - DiscSoftLTD (Daemon Tools) The thing is, I've deleted, reinstalled, and redeleted both ReWASD and DiscSoftLTD multiple times. I've gone into registry edit and deleted everything related to ReWASDS and DiscSoftLTD. I've deleted every driver cache I can find that are related. I'm genuinely out of ideas at this point. I have 20 minutes logged on the game according to steam, but I have yet to successfully launch the game once.Crashes in the 4th Quarter due to Denuvo, "GetDenuvoTimeTicketRequest"
I cannot finish the first game in my online/cloud dynasty because of this bug. It crashes late in the 4th quarter (running 12 minute quarters). I've mass subbed due to the score against FCS opponent. Then, it will stutter and crash. This has happened twice now. I used WinDbg to open the crash dump. I can't attach the file here for some reason, but I've pasted the entire contents down below for reference. I am not a tech person and had to paste into Copilot to sort out, but apparently there's a time ticket TPM request that's returning a null pointer and causing the game to crash. I've seen other support tickets that say Denuvo isn't in the PC game. I am experiencing severe and repeated EA server connectivity problems with BOTH Madden NFL 27 and College Football 27 on PlayStation 5. Madden NFL 27 Disconnected/signed out of the EA servers 7 times In addition to the server disconnects, the game completely crashed once College Football 27 Disconnected/signed out of the EA servers 5 times That is 12 EA server disconnects across the two games, plus one complete Madden 27 game crash. Both games initially connect to the EA servers normally, but I am subsequently and repeatedly disconnected/signed out while playing. My PS5 is using a wired LAN connection. My other internet-connected functions and games are working, and I am not experiencing a general loss of internet connectivity when these EA disconnects occur. The fact that I am experiencing essentially the same EA server-disconnection problem across two different EA Sports titles on the same day is particularly concerning. EA’s server-status information also shows the games as online despite these repeated disconnects. I was loving this years game! but since the last title update I haven’t been able to play my online dynasty. It has been three weeks without resolution. This started over a week ago after I completed a game, hit exit from post game screen to get to the dynasty main screen, and the game crashed. Ever since then every time I attempt to open my offline dynasty file (non-cloud) the game crashes the moment the load screen goes away. Platform is PS5 and it gives me error code CE-108255-1. I’ve tried all the suggested actions from Sony and EA including backing up, resetting, and restoring the system. This dynasty file is the only reason I’m playing the game at this point, hoping to be able to get it back.Fix your game. Amateurs
So tired of all the problems with this game. Half the time I have a few hours to play dynasty and the servers are down. Then when the servers are working some unknown error occurs and won’t let you play the game for hours. I’m so sick of your company. Fix the game, leave everything ALONE after that. Was playing online dynasty with a team builder school last night. got kicked out right as it ended saying failure to connect. Figured it would work itself out by mid Saturday, still keep getting booted with the connection error. Now, as soon as I load the game I get disconnected. I've tried wired and wireless connection, and tested other games to make sure it wasn't my network/ console. I don't know why we're so comfortable with companies who charge $60+ for their game to not have a product that works every time you want to play it. Once again, EA proves how much they care about their players by squeezing every penny possible and delivering unstable or unfinished games. And I fall for the hype every year.CFB27 RTG crashes as soon as I load into it (PC)
Whenever I try to load into RTG, it lags for a couple seconds, and then the game crashes with no error message. The main menu works fine. It's just when I try to load RTG (haven't tried other game modes... RTG is basically all I play). Tried every fix I could find online and nothing worked. I've updated everything, disabled all overlays, tried enabling/disabling steam controller override, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, etc. This was never an issue for me before the latest update, but now it's quite literally unplayable.
