CFB 27 TEAM BUILDER PRESEASON UPDATE FAILED
Right now as I type this message, I am looking at a TV screen that says, UPDATE FAILED. Update of your Team Builder Team failed, please try again later. We'll, I tried again later, 9 hours later and the same message popped up. I am entering the second season of my dynasty with my Teambuilder Team. This is the second year I have encountered some sort of problem with Teambuilder. EA what is going on with you all??? I have taken my time throughout the course of several days, to design my own university/college football team, stadium, logos, and uniforms. Some of us have paid a lot of money for this game. For you all to give a product with so many bugs and technical difficulties is egregious. I've been playing EA College Football since Bill Walsh College Football 93 on Sega Genesis. Now here we are 33 years later, when technology is the most advanced, and we can't have a proper Preseason update to Teambuilder. You all need to listen to the community and fix these issues/problems before you launch these games. Push the dates back to mid July again, just to make sure, problems/issues are ironed out. All the new uniforms, in-game adjustments, & weather are GREAT. However, what good this that to the Teambuilder dynasty community if we can't play our second season due to an update failure??? This is sad and unbearable.CE-108255-1 - keep crashing when I load into a online game
I'm playing EA SPORTS College Football 27 on an original PS5 (digital MVP Bundle). The game worked normally during early access for the first four days. On the worldwide launch day, it began crashing every game with error CE-108255-1. The crash occurs as gameplay transitions to defense in Ultimate Team and Dynasty. I've already reinstalled the game and rebuilt the database in Safe Mode, but the issue persists. Other PS5 games work without any problems." Madden 27 early release is today. I’ve downloaded, made a new coach, and simmed a few weeks. Waited for sometime and returned to CFB 27 to unlock visionary. I will not give me the option to unlock it. A week has simmed in CFB27 and the ability is still not unlocked. I created a brand new dynasty in CFB27 to test it and it unlocks there. The only issue is that I have 1 online dynasty with my friends that we’ve been using since early access. Insane that paying for the higher tier membership has cause significantly more issues than just getting the regular edition. What is even the point of paying $100 more?Waste of money
I have no choice but to delete the game. It’s difficult to understand why and how this game has worsened over 2 years. What will 28’ bring? Rhetorical. EA I really had high hopes for 27’, but to drop $70 plus on a game that can’t be played is ludicrous. Everyone who purchased this game should be in uproar. We work hard to have simple pleasures in life and playing our favorite college teams sounds like a great time. EA maybe there is a sick satisfaction of taking money and watching the consumer melt in complete frustration. If anyone is reading this maybe EA Sports deserves a shut down. They already have our money and clearly are in meetings now to decide what to do with College 28. Thank you EA Sports for ruining another year for all of us who believe in this company. I have beat the university of Buffalo twice with the university of Massachusetts, once to unlock Sam the minuteman, and the other time in a road to glory playthrough, and nether time has the trophy been added to my trophy room. I am playing via steam. I have unlocked mascots, conference championship trophies, and a bowl game trophy, so I am confused why it happens with the rivalry trophyYour league has been unloaded due to server issues
I am in a dynasty with 3 people and we were trying to advance from conference championship week to bowl week and it said “ your league has been unloaded due to server issues recent changes may have been lost you have been returned to main menu” And will keep doing that every time we try to advance now and we are just stuck at this week. EA Sports, please address this Dynasty issue in College Football 27. This problem goes back to CFB 25 and CFB 26, and it still has not been fixed. Once you advance into Years 2–3 and the real players begin graduating, the customization settings for generated and non-NIL players do not save correctly. Running animations, throwing motions, position stances, pre-snap stances, and other player styles randomly change every time you advance a week. For example, my running back will have a different stance and running animation from one week to the next, even after I manually select and save the style I want. My quarterback’s throwing motion and pre-snap stance also keep changing automatically. Some of the randomly assigned animations look extremely awkward and unrealistic. Can EA please investigate and fix this? There is no point in offering player customization if our selections do not save and the game automatically replaces them with random styles every week. This seriously hurts the immersion and long-term experience of Dynasty mode.Missing Shells in Playbook and formation misalignment
Played a CUT game with 4-3 press Quarters playbook. The 3-3-5 3 High formation is missing the Shells for the entire formation and against certain formations, the slot corner randomly aligns as a MLB over the center. Switched to regular practice mode with the same playbook and it happens in regs as well. This isn't happening with 3-3-5 3 high in other playbooks. Doesn't matter if auto flip is on or offServer Disconnect when viewing recorded clip after a score
Console: PS5 Mode: Anything connected to online (CUT, Road to CFP, Online Dynasty, etc) Issue: Server disconnects when you are viewing a recorded clip on your console after someone scores. I initially thought it was due to the console trying to upload the clip after recording, but even when that setting is turned off, this is still happening. Frequency: Almost every time it is attempted.
CFB27 crash (0xC0000409) + missing from account library and anticheat list

It gets through the EA Javelin anti-cheat load, then closes immediately. This has been ongoing for several weeks despite extensive troubleshooting listed below. --- CORE SYMPTOMS --- - Game launches, anti-cheat loads, then the process closes with no visible error. - Windows Event Viewer shows: "collegefb27.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000409" every time, timed right at the anti-cheat load stage. - Occasionally (roughly 1 in 10 attempts), I'm prompted to log into Origin during launch (screenshot attached). When I complete that login, the game launches successfully. If I close it and immediately reopen, it fails again the same way, with no new login prompt. - Have also seen a "computer is offline" message pop up right after signing in, despite having a normal, stable internet connection. --- NEW EVIDENCE (not in original thread) --- 1. On EA's own account/game library page, College Football 27 does not show an "Owned" badge, while every other EA game I own does show it (screenshot attached). I have purchased and previously played CFB27. 2. Running EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe manually shows other EA titles (Madden, FC, Battlefield) in its game dropdown list, but College Football 27 does not appear as an option at all, despite being fully installed. Both of these point toward an account/entitlement registration issue on EA's side rather than a local PC problem. --- BACKGROUND CONTEXT --- Before this started, I had mods installed via Frosty Mod Manager. After a game update, the game began failing to launch. I fully removed all mods, unpatched via Frosty, and deleted leftover mod-related files (including a stray "datapath.old" file) before doing any of the troubleshooting below, to rule modding out as the cause. --- FULL LIST OF TROUBLESHOOTING ALREADY COMPLETED --- - Fully removed all mods and unpatched via Frosty Mod Manager (not just disabled) - Deleted leftover datapath file from prior modding - Verified game file integrity (Steam) - Full uninstall and reinstall of the game via EA App - Manually ran EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe (CFB27 not listed as an available game, see above) - Confirmed Secure Boot is enabled and TPM 2.0 is active in BIOS - Confirmed Windows is not in Test Mode (checked via bcdedit, no testsigning entry present) - Confirmed via Settings that I am not enrolled in the Windows Insider Program - Installed the latest available Windows update (2026-07 Update, KB5121767) anyway, no change - DxDiag reviewed line by line: no mention anywhere of "Insider," "Preview," "Canary," "Dev Channel," or "Beta Channel." OS Build Version shows 10.0.26100.8875 (26200.8875), which is the expected dual-numbering format for a 25H2 enablement package on a 24H2 base, not evidence of a non-retail build (full DxDiag attached) - Confirmed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributables (x64 and x86) are already installed and current (v14.51.36247.0), so the "missing redistributable" prompt from one troubleshooting tool was a false positive - Closed all overlay, RGB/lighting, and OC monitoring software before launch attempts - Tried launching via Steam directly, via the EA App directly, and via Frosty, same failure pattern regardless of launcher - Checked Windows Event Viewer (Application log) and found the exit code 0xC0000409 entry described above --- ATTACHMENTS --- - DxDiag report - Screenshot: EA account library showing CFB27 without "Owned" badge while other titles show it - Screenshot: Origin sign-in prompt that appears during the intermittent successful launch pattern described above - Screenshot: Windows Update / Insider Program status showing not enrolled Given the amount of local troubleshooting already completed and ruled out, I'd really appreciate this being looked at from the account/entitlement side rather than repeating basic PC troubleshooting steps. Please let us know when we can expect to be able to play this crashfest. I want to play football not a crashfest. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the issue is with memory leaks and the Frostbite engine. But what blows my mind is you fixed it the previous two years. That fix should have been included in the new game. If you weren't so intrerest in microtransactioning us to death maybe you could release a playable product.How to stop lag
Can anyone please explain to me why the lag/stutter is devastating. I’m yet to win a trophy game. I have cleared cache, turned HDCP off. I can’t play offline because the win will not count. How is anyone playing without this being an issue. I just want to enjoy playing this game but it is impossible. Please if anyone has figured out how to make this game playable, I will greatly appreciate it.
