Please reconsider adding the EA on posts badge back
Hi! Could you please reconsider adding the EA badge that is given when an EA CM/Dev responds to a post? It is useful for posts that have many comments and the one that really matters is the response from said person.michibikii9 days agoNew Vanguard42Views0likes2CommentsAddition of World Tag for The Sims 4 Bug Reports
Hello! I think a World tag is missing from the available tags. For example I was just making a bug report about a world VFX which doesn't really fit any of the categories. I also know of a friend who made a report about sims going through the terrain in Innisgreen, which is also world related. It would of course be a somewhat more obscure tag, but worlds are their own thing both in game and file wise. Maybe it goes under something else internally I don't know about, but I think the addition of a World is needed.Kalliker10 days agoSeasoned Scout15Views0likes0CommentsSkipped ranks
My forum rank recently went from Seasoned hotshot to Seasoned veteran without the intermediate ranks of New veteran and Rising veteran. I assume that’s not intentional because I see some accounts with those ranks that I apparently skipped in my progression.Sawtooth7516 days agoSeasoned Ace38Views0likes3CommentsPossibility to edit my "optional" Profile Info is gone
As it says here in: Your EA Forums Profile, Avatar & Settings "optionally fill out some details about yourself." As I added some Info "about me" to my EA Forum Profile in the past, I can now not see these settings anymore in my settings nor the line I added to edit it. These "optional" settings are gone and do not show in my account settings anymore. So I can no longer edit my "optional" (about me) info. Has these settings been removed or is it a Forum bug?LuvMySimz17 days agoSeasoned Ace23Views0likes0CommentsLoading large discussions is very slow, almost unworkable
I’m not sure if this is already reported, but when you visit a discussion that has a lot of replies, it progressively takes longer to load the replies. At some point it takes so long that it becomes unworkable. Some form of pagination would be so much better than just keeping all replies in the current view and just increasing the page size. This already becomes cumbersome in discussions with 50 or more replies. I’ve tried to browse a discussion with over 300 replies, but just gave up because it took way too long to load.Sawtooth7521 days agoSeasoned Ace38Views1like3CommentsContent not published, maximum number of posts published
So I'm in a Sims forum that has many, many repeat posters and sharers of their builds and designs however my latest one says I've reached the maximum number of posts??? There's people who post on every single thread, they've certainly posted more than me so I doubt there's and actual limit to this? Any help?cbarber8928 days agoSeasoned Ace19Views0likes0CommentsFeedback about The Sims 4 category
by the tittle i don't mean the actual gameplay, i mean sure the game itself needs its feedbacks too (i bet everyone else do too) i meant the feedback about this link Categorie: The Sims 4 | EA Forums We have: -The Sims 4 Creative corner -The Sims 4 Feedback -The Sims 4 General discussion Then we have categories that's issues related: -The Sims 4 Technical issues (Consoles, Mac & PC) -The Sims 4 Gameplay Questions & issues -The Sims 4 Mods & Custom Content -The Sims 4 Bug Reports but we used to had the category in which you could share your ideas about the pack you have in mind "creative idea" or something? (can't remember the exact name) i feel like feedback is more like if you want the game to become better either for basegame or the already existing packs and the ideas you have in mind that don't exist yet deserves to have its own category i know it may take ages to move probably half of the topic ideas there but i think it should be possible if we all report the topics together to place it to the category which don't exist yet tittle for the category: "Creative ideas" or "Sims 4 ideas" so we can share our ideas there instead (actual feedbacks and our ideas about the packs/basegame update get so mixed up, that may be confussing especially for newcomers) with other words: The Sims > The Sims 4 > Creative ideas/Sims 4 ideas (just a thought) we can seperate things more this way if feedbacks stays as an actual feedback that already exist in The Sims 4 either for basegame or the already existing packs...who's with me? edit: maybe even better: creating a pack idea archive category similair to this one once it's out The Sims 4 Bug Reports - Archive | EA Forums (but instead of bugs it's the pack ideas category archive) i bet even some of the ideas about certain things are in the "General Discussion" category too that can be merged with the already existing topic (not just the Feedback ones, the pack ideas is all over the place in both Feedbacks and in the General Discussion categories...i bet changing the website have something to do with it, it got all mixed up in both the "Feedback" and the "General Discussion" categories) so make it "create 2 new categories" except you can call it "The Sims 4 (Pack) Ideas Archive/History" (i just came up with it) with that idea added it should go like this: The Sims > The Sims 4 > The Sims 4 (Pack) Ideas Archive/History we can keep things in order even better this way we can place it in the "The Sims 4 (Pack) Ideas Archive/History" or rather the team once the pack is taken care of or rather once the pack is out (i know we can't place them in that new category i have in mind but the teams can for sure...we can report it if it isn't taken care of) with other words: 1 category based on our ideas about the packs and the other some kind of a archive pack ideas the team can place it there once the pack is taken care of The Sims > The Sims 4 > Creative ideas/Sims 4 ideas (like the name have suggested it's based on pack or basegame ideas) The Sims > The Sims 4 > The Sims 4 (pack) ideas Archive/History (like the tittle have said, it's pack ideas that's already out that can be in "The Sims 4 (Pack) ideas Archive/History" we used to share our ideas with) (i hope the team consider this adding 2 more categories in The Sims 4 category)sailorleontine2 months agoSeasoned Ace203Views0likes7CommentsUnable to Post to Discussion
I am currently locked out of my Adam Servis Ultimate Legacy Challenge. I know it's because I made too many changes to my posts in one day. However, it's been three days and I still can't publish my post to that discussion. I can post everywhere else except the Adam Servis Ultimate Legacy Challenge discussion. How much longer am I locked out? When it is fixed, you can delete this post.texansky2 months agoSeasoned Ace62Views0likes3Comments- lNAPPROPRlATE3 months agoSeasoned Veteran50Views0likes1Comment
Forum Navigation - browsing posts issue
When browsing the list of posts and then reading one, afterwards either using back button or forum breadcrumbs, I’m always returned to the top of the list rather than where I was in the list that means I have to scroll back down every time to where i was - very tedious Doesn’t or can’t the forum track where I punched into a post? or is there some setting I’m missingNeil_RS603 months agoRising Veteran56Views3likes2CommentsFor those who solve the problem themselves

Anyone ever encountered this message? I was just on this discussion thread a matter of hours ago and now I’m denied access. Is this a glitch or is EA literally trying to silence dissent? I posted to the thread but said nothing that might violate any standards, so it’s pretty weird that I suddenly can’t access it. On a related note, there was thread criticizing game lag and contesting EA assertions that it was all due to user-side internet connection that was unceremoniously closed down by the moderator over the weekend and so it certainly appears as though EA isn’t beneath trying to silence critics (even after it created these forums as the place for users to air their questions, concerns and criticisms). EA, if you’re listening, it’s not a good look when you not only don’t respond (with action) to fait critiques, but actively quash opinions that you don’t like.1440666fd7e443ec3 months agoSeasoned Veteran142Views0likes6CommentsSurvey regarding EA Forums
For some days now, whenever I visit the Forums I get a pop-up about taking a survey about my experience using EA Forums. I click on it to take the survey, however the survey window doesn't show up, it's kind of visible in the background for a couple of seconds when I change pages, but I can't interact with it or bring it to the foreground. This is all the feedback I have for now. 😁 Tell us what do you think We’d love to hear about your experience using EA Forums.56Views1like2CommentsWhy Am I Not Being Notified About Things On The EA Forums?
I am following the Info Hub, General Discussion, Feedback categories. I am following the Announcement and Patch Notes tags. Everything is turned on and set to Immediately or Daily Digest in my Follows & Notifications account settings. I'm not being notified via Email about Announcement/Patch Notes posts, replies to my threads, replies to my comments, etc.Summon4 months agoSeasoned Scout551Views4likes18Comments
