Wasn't shown option to buy kit bundle so bought separately, now want bundle
I'm getting really frustrated at this point. I went to buy the new kits today and I had heard mention of a bundle before going to do so. When I logged on, I saw one available, but it was much pricier than I expected ($45, I think?) That's when I saw it included the Royalty and Legacy expansion, which I already own. Thinking the bundle didn't apply to me because of this, I bought the packs separately. Now I see there IS a bundle with just the kits (again, I was NOT shown this earlier before buying both kits, just the one big bundle) and you get bonus items with it. So that means, not only did I overpay, but I didn't get all the items. I'm honestly less concerned about price and more about not getting all the items (I've always preordered/bought bundles and received bonus items before, so it just bugs me I'm missing something.) I tried looking into refunds to possibly refund the kits and buy the bundle after but I didn't see any option to refund them (I've already launched the game to check that the purchase went through, but I haven't really play with the kits yet.) So, yah. Now I'm wondering what my options are to get these items that don't require me to spend another $10, Also, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I have no idea where to post this. I also tried the "Contact Us" button on the support pages but it brings up a chat window that just shows a prompt and gives an error whenever I reply.Serabee6 hours agoNew Vanguard44Views3likes0Comments- 3Views0likes0Comments
EA doesn’t care about there consumers.
So I just got a pc and got the Xbox pc game pass (which comes with ea play), I go to download Jedi survivor from ea and it just won’t work at all. Doesn’t want to download. I’ve cleared cache from ea 4 times now and still nothing. I’ve look at videos from 4 YEARS ago with this issue…. The fact this is still an issue legit shows they do not care about us at all. If an ea person comments back can you explain to us why the company is blatantly showing disregard to there consumers? This is disgusting tbh. Also to an ea employee ever since the saudis bought yall do you even care about us anymore?7Views0likes0CommentsIssue with EA accound linking
I purchased an EA Play subscription yesterday through the Epic Games launcher. Before this, I didn’t have an EA account. My expectation was that installing a game from the subscription via the Epic Games launcher would either: - Automatically create an EA account linked to my Epic Games account, or - Allow me to create an EA account and link it during the process. However, when I tried to download Mass Effect Legendary Edition (and other games), I was redirected to the EA app, where I encountered the following error: “There’s been an error. Try resetting your password and restarting your game. You can now close this window.” I reset my password multiple times (since I had to create a new EA account from scratch), but the error persists. No additional windows or options appeared, and I still couldn’t link the Epic Games launcher to EA. As a result, I manually created an EA account and tried again, only to face the same error. When I contacted EA support, they informed me that my Epic Games account is already linked to a different EA account, one that I’m not aware of. Strangely, this linked account doesn’t appear in the “linked accounts” section of my Epic Games profile. I reached out to Epic Games support for clarification, but they stated that their support team cannot provide any data from my Epic Games account. This leaves me stuck in a frustrating loop where I can’t access or manage my subscription properly. I’ve paid for the subscription but can’t even process a refund. Could you help me resolve this issue? I’d like to either: Unlink the unknown EA account from my Epic Games profile, or Properly link my new EA account to my Epic Games subscription. Refund my subscription.22Views0likes0CommentsCompromised account: Steam unlinked, 6-month lock, need CM
Hello EA Community, I'm posting here as a last resort after many failed attempts with EA Help chat and email. I hope a Community Manager can escalate my case to the right team. My main EA account (the one I'm posting from) was compromised. My original Steam (BreadMan) was unlinked without my permission, and I received NO email notification or verification code about this change. I only discovered the issue when I tried to play Battlefield 6. I unlinked the unauthorized Steam, but the system applied a 6-month cooldown. In a panic to keep playing, I created a temporary EA account and linked my Steam there. Now both accounts are locked by the cooldown, and I cannot unlink from the temporary account or re-link to my main one. I have contacted EA Help chat over 5 times. Each time I am told the cooldown cannot be overridden, or I am asked to contact from the other account (which I did, with the same result). My case was even escalated once (by Agent Arjun to the special team), but the reply simply directed me back to chat. That email address is now unmonitored. I am the verified owner of both accounts and can provide any proof of purchase or identity privately. I just want my Steam linked back to my main EA account. If a Community Manager can help escalate this to the Terms of Service or Account Security team, I would be incredibly grateful. I will provide all account details via DM as needed. Thank you for reading.9Views0likes0Comments"something went wrong" when trying to link PSN to EA account.

I’m honestly at the end of my rope with this and could really use some advice. My EA account was hacked on April 29th. I first noticed when I turned on my PS5 to play FC 25 and got an alert about an unusual login. I immediately contacted EA support and went through the account recovery process on console. Everything seemed fine; I changed all my details (email, password, name) back to my details. The next day, I got hacked again. Went through recovery again. Then a THIRD time a few hours later. At that point I wasn’t even home to react properly, so I told the support agent to just block all access to the account entirely because I didn’t want the hacker continuing to use it. Now things get worse. I don’t remember the original email I used to create the account back in 2010. I think it might have been an old @aim.com email, but I haven’t used that in years and never migrated or recovered it when AIM became AOL. So that email is basically gone. Since then, I’ve contacted EA support multiple times trying to recover the account, but I keep hitting a wall, an endless loop that's going to be the death of me. I’ve provided: Proof of payments dating back to 2023 EA Play Proof of Payment made through PSN Screenshots of emails (including one in Chinese/Japanese tied to the hacker’s support case, the one mistake they made) Evidence that my secondary email was changed Despite all this, I keep getting told they can’t verify me. I'm failing some of the security questions, but the problem is I made the account when I was underage, so I probably used a fake date of birth and don’t remember what I put or don't know what else I'm failing, I just know I'm not Chinese and used this account for YEARS. I’ve spent a lot of money on Apex over the years and I feel completely stuck. Support won’t help me further, and I don’t know what else I can even provide at this point. Has anyone been in a similar situation or managed to recover an account without access to the original email? Any advice would seriously mean a lot right now.62Views0likes0CommentsEA Security Newsletter Directory

Contacting Support
How in the hell does one get a hold support? EA is not sending MFA codes, whether I attempt to sign into the App or EA.com. Nothing coming to my SPAM filter from EA...not even getting password resets. Attempted to follow the generic help articles and there's nothing. Tried using the chat feature but am thrown to a useless AI agent who continuously asks me what game I'm trying to play...ALL of them...34Views0likes0CommentsEA Coins
If EA decides to use coins on its website to buy games, I won't buy any more. I already stopped buying from Xbox because they have switched over to coins. They can rip you off with it! Games could end up costing you more than they should! I also have issues with every time they update, something goes wrong with my game. Last time, it just wouldn't load; now it won't save.27Views0likes0CommentsLosing SP points by watching ads to skip tasks
I lost SP points when I watched ads to skips tasks. It ran the whole ads as usual then it deducted my LP points urgggggggg. I didn't realise that until I lost so many SP points. Give me back the points that I worked my *** off!!!!39Views0likes0CommentsCompletely locked out by 2FA requirement
This week, I decided to install The Sims 4 after a gap of few years, and bought a few add-ons that looked good while I was installing the game. That proved to be a mistake, because the other account - this is a new one - was set up with an email account that ceased to exist in 2022. "But surely," you might say, "you could still log in to that account, since you were able to buy things for it?" And indeed you would be right - but every feature of that account (including the ability to add a backup email, or specify a telephone contact, or verify my age, and now even logging in) has been locked away behind two-factor authentication that points to that old, defunct email address. Those 2FA messages are all vanishing into the void, with no domain to receive them. "Ah, then certainly EA's fine helpdesk staff can help you," I can hear you cry - and, indeed, all four of the people I've contacted so far have been good, helpful people. Alas, however, they are only allowed to follow a standardised set of questions which ask things such as "what IP address do you normally play from" - not the most useful of questions after moving house and having to change ISP in the last four years. Whatever answers I give, I'm told that at some point I have failed the test and that no further help can be given in that case. Franz Kafka would smile at all this, I'm sure. This can't be good for Electronic Arts itself, I fear: I doubt that I can be the only person who has bought goods and then found themselves unable to use them, with the ability even to request a refund locked away behind - you guessed it - a 2FA requirement! So, dear reader, if you know of any way in which I can unlock my old account and regain access to my things, I would be quite glad to spend a few evenings enjoying The Sims again. One lives in hope.67Views0likes0CommentsProposal for Industry Standardization
Dear EA, The current Hero Battle Royale, Tactical Hero Shooter & Arena Hero Shooter (Gunplay Versions) market suffers from severe fragmentation. Physics, hit-registration, reinventions and localization logic vary wildly between titles, creating a disjointed experience for the global player base. While other mobile shooters are struggling with mechanical fragmentation, I am working with industry leaders to implement the U.H.S.S.—a standardization framework that ensures high-fidelity combat across global markets. If you want the good of Hero Shooter genres, then apply the whole standard in the game. Non of the points of the standards should be missed. And I am sharing my ideas & spreading the standards not only for my profit, but for the most important thing–for the industry standardization, the appliance of the standards in all Hero-BRs, all Tactical Hero Shooter & all Arena Hero Shooter and, for the standalone, freedom of these 3 shooter genres, & their all versions–Gunplay, Melee / Martial Arts, Pure Skill & Signature Weapon / MOBA Style versions. I want you to share my thoughts with big communities & other major companies & studios like you, so Hero-BR & Hero Shooters could stand as free genres. I hope you understand, or my all hard work will become & be in vein. I have developed the Hero-BR Standards / U.H.S.S. (Universal Hero System Standards) to solve this. This is not a pitch for a single game. It is a proposed Standardization Framework (Manifesto) designed to: 1. Unify Competitive Logic: Standardizing movement and ballistics for eSports integrity. 2. Solve Localization Friction: A "Culturalization Layer" that allows IP to scale globally without code rewrites. 3. Define Role Archetypes: A universal "Dual-Role" (Marksman/Mage) system for consistent team balance. I am submitting the full technical documentation below for being reviewed by you. I believe this should be the baseline for the next generation of competitive shooters. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EF0QQg-Sl-iXDNEdlkRXZekT8mII0zSE6d6q0kJS0Lg/edit?usp=drivesdk https://docs.google.com/document/d/16s6OsppwrCIaeybVwGU1Vp-Hz7ukloX3G-DkfhmUh2Y/edit?usp=drivesdk I keep updating my frameworks, so check them everytime at least in 2 todays, because I send my ideas to other major companies & update my frameworks. I have already sent emails on these to–Lilith Games, Farlight Games, Kenny Wang, Tencent, Riot Games, EA, Respawn Entertainment, IGDA, etc. Now it’s your time to discuss about it & localize my ideas. Well, I didn’t start working on the Arena Hero Shooter standards or on the other versions of Hero-BR & Tactical Hero Shooter yet, but when I will end my work on them, I will send them immediately to you. Don’t forget to share them with other brands too! I am recently working on other frameworks for the Melee/Martial Arts Focused Version, the Pure Hero Skill Focused Version & Signature Weapon Focused Version of Hero-BR, Tactical Hero Shooters, Arena Hero Shooter. These framework has the same aspect of the Gunplay Focused Version of the shooter genres. To keep everything the same without loosing the identities of games. I am ready to discuss how we can publish this as an industry-standard whitepaper. Ok so lately there's been quite a bit of buzz about EA possibly bringing back MOH. With BF6 falling off quickly, I think EA needs to decide its next moves carefully. The concept of BF6 was great but just lacking in certain areas. If EA decides to reboot MOH, please for the love of GOD!!! No WW2 games!!! And its not because I don't appreciate the time period, it's just the act that its already been done hundreds of times. And frankly as a gamer I'd rather see something more resembling to MOH & MOH WF. These game developing companies must realize that they're still a good population of gamers who view the multiplayer aspect second and are more focused on the campaign modes. The modern MOH series from 2010 and 2011/12 where very intriguing, the story of the operators is what kept so many of us hooked. With how far gaming has come in the last decade, there is no reason why every year to every few years we should be forced to literally replay the same game. Examples pretty much every COD after the original MW series in my opinion excluding the 2019 MW series reboot which was ok not off the charts great but still a good game series. But any BO's game after the 2nd one just crash and burn rinse and repeat from there on. Madden the same thing, hasn't changed since maybe 2010/11. They cram junk microtransactions down our throats thinking it will mean something. NEWS FLASH, we don't care about your stupid microtransactions and the other cosmetic BS you shove in our faces every time I turn a game on. We dish out money each and every year for the latest version of the video games with hopes and ambitions that "This year will be different" but it never is. $70-120 for a game with the prices on the rise and we can't even get a semi decent product? The average AAA video games needs to 2-4 million copies to break even which still comes out $140,000,000, and with a $100,000,000 budget they call $40,000,000 profit breaking even? So bottom line is this instead of pushing out games every year why don't you just make a extraordinary product, update it even if it is for 2-3 years in between the next game at least we as the consumer wouldn't feel like we're getting screwed for $70 every year. With this being said, go out reboot the MOH series and just straight up F**KIN crush it. You showed so much promise with BF6 until it became COD. DO THE F**KIN WORK!!!mp118863 months agoRising Novice441Views0likes0Comments
