Hello EA community Managers Hello. I am seeking help because my main account linked to Steam has been compromised. The email was changed to a fraudulent domain that is now blocked. My original Email was my old address, which was deleted by Microsoft due the inactivity, so I cannot use the automated recovery system. I have my Steam Transaction IDs and my Steam ID to prove ownership, but the live chat has been unable to help me. I am looking for a Community Manager to help me to escalate this for a Manual Review. EA support won't help me.
After a house fire in 2022 and some stupid account tinkering I did in 2023, I wanted to recover my old apex account with 300 odd hours of progress. I chatted in one of the EA help chatboxes for five hours, going round in circles, no result. The Supervisor didn't even seem like he wanted to help me, just threw a link in my direction and called it a day. I'm so angry with EA and how poor they have been handling my issue, considering I am a loyal customer and I pour money into EA games other than apex also. Hello, at least three of my personal apex accounts on EA app were banned, I can provide everything on my computer in order to prove I am innocent from being cheating in apex legends. Here is the ban: What this means You can no longer access Apex Legends. Your ban began on Jan. 12, 2026 and is permanent. Why we took action We observed Gameplay enhancement in Your EA Account. This means using unauthorized methods to enhance in-game performance by removing gameplay constraints or improving in-game abilities weapon, movement, or item enhancements. Can anyone, please tell me what the hell is this, which rule I broke. The only thing I have used apart from the game itself are the Game Accelerator which are the software used to play game normally and comfortably with relatively low internet latency, you guys know apex legends is an excellent fps game, it certainly has many servers all over the world, I have many friends in China, I have to use the accelerator in order to play with them. Apart from this reason, I could not think of any other thing I have done that broke to rule. Please, I need some proper explanatory. Much appreciate. Hi EA team, my EA account has been compromised and the email address was changed without my permission. When I try to sign in using Steam, EA asks me to verify my identity by sending a code to an email address that does not belong to me, which means I am completely locked out. I still have full access to my Steam account, which is linked to this EA account, and this should help confirm ownership. I cannot receive verification codes because they are being sent to the attacker’s email. I have not unlinked Steam and I have not created a new EA account. I got a warning and the context makes absolutely no sense. I appealed it and got an automated reply saying it was rejected. EA ID Link to PSN Issue
Hi All, I play my BF1 on PS4. I have issue with my EA ID linked to my old email account. I get below message: Your accounts can’t be linked because your PlayStation™Network account "xxxxxx" already linked to your EA Account for "[edit: email address removed]. An EA Account can only be linked to one PlayStation™Network account in its lifetime. Is there any solution to this? Best scenarios for me to have the email address changed that its link to my EA ID and not loose my progress. I dont mind unlinking my email from this PSN account and loose my game progression as long I can link my new email address with my PSN account. What other solutions do I have? Hello Recently, my EA account and the email address linked to it were stolen and the passwords were changed. Now I can't log into any games. When I contact support to recover my account, they keep giving me the same answers and offering no solutions. I answer all their questions correctly, but they say they can't prove the account belongs to me. Their only reason is that my date of birth is incorrect. I don't even know when I created the account, so I randomly entered my date of birth, making it impossible for me to remember. I'm doing everything else, but still no solution is offered. I need help..
I've had my EA account for a long time, maybe even as long as 20years. I pay monthly for EA Play Pro. I primarily play on PC. At one time I linked a PSN account to my EA account. This was on PS3. When I got a PS4, I created a new PSN account because I had no idea what the details for that account were and it wasn't important. Now, I have bought a PS5 with FC2026 and added the game code to my current PSN account. But I cant associate it with my EA account as you can only EVER link one PSN account to an EA account. I get it, it prevents fraud, but it seems I cant do anything about it. I could create a second EA account specifically for my PlayStaion, but why would I when I have an existing account already with history and paid products on it. I have no desire to manage two separate accounts and identities. People online say its possible to request that the old PSN account link be removed in the backend as a one time thing if you ask for it in the right way. BUT that would assume you can contact an agent. EA's entire support model seems to be 'use the EA Help website' that is a pile of KB articles that seem to just loop and offer viable path to actually get in touch with a support staff member at all. I don't have time to click through articles and work out the secret code that exposes access to contact an agent. It shouldn't be this hard. It's clearly by design. I've tried raising a ticket, I've tried reaching out on Twitter. Nothing. I'm starting to get really frustrated.
