Detect Game External SSD?
I have to spend more than 6 hours re downloading an entire game on the EA app, if I want to play it on a different computer. I have installed it on my external USB SSD, but on the new computer, it doesn't detect the game, even if I set the installation folder to the external ssd ea folder. I tried to name my game folder to "backup". Then I start a fresh download via EA app. I pause it and close EA entirely. I transfer my game files to the new EA app created folder. And then start EA. And redownload it and hope it detect the files, but no... it does the same thing. it ignores the files in the folder, and just redownloads everything. In the past there was a repair function, but even that is gone now. And I recall that repair took a long time aswell. Is there any way at all to not have to spent more than 6 hours to download a game every time I want to play my EA app games on a different computer? Games missing from my EA library
I had Crysis 2 standard edition, which I bought on a physical disc. Then I bought Crysis 2 Maximum edition in EA Store years ago. So I had 2 separate copies in my library: one from retail, one from digital store. Almost the same story with the NFS Most Wanted 2012 (here I first bought digital standard edition, then bought retail Limited Edition). Also I had Star Wars The Old Republic in my library in which I spent hundreds of hours and dollars. I also had Battlefield 2 Complete Edition, but now it shows, that I only have Special Forces DLC So effectively EA stole 3.75 games from me. I get, that they merged Crysis 2 and NFS Most Wanted. But they did that without my consent. I paid twice for them, so I think I'm eligible for either refund or a key for copies, that they took away from me. Steam never steal or merge anything. There I have for example Fallout 3 with all the DLC and Fallout 3 GOTY edition. No merging [CM - Edited title for clarity]Solved57Views0likes1Comment

I have xbox game pass ultimate bought and active yet when i try to play fc 24 it says i need to buy ea play on the ea app, i dont wanna spend money for something i should already have. Battlefield 6 purchased in Steam is not displayed in the EA App library.
I bought the game by pre-order on steam, everything works, I can log in to play, but there is no battlefield 6 app in the EA app, I cannot receive the veteran's award and other awards.Steam and EA app are linked to each other, I tried deleting the apps and installing them again, it doesn't help. Games have been removed from my account?
Subject: URGENT: Missing Games and Purchased Add-Ons EA Support, I am reporting a serious issue: several of my legitimately purchased games and add-ons have been removed from my account. Most notably, Dragon Age: Origins, including all purchased add-ons, is no longer accessible. I still own the original Origins and Awakening discs, and I purchased every add-on directly. I am also missing add-ons for other titles, including the Mass Effect series. I was told these were linked to a different account, possibly an old Xbox Live account. This explanation does not make sense: these purchases were made before Xbox Live was ever linked to my EA account, and the Microsoft account in question was only closed last year, long after the purchases were made and used through EA. I have invested a significant amount of money into these products, and losing access to them is unacceptable. If this issue is not resolved, I will have no reason to continue using an EA account or purchasing EA products in the future. I need my games and all associated add-ons restored immediately. EA has given me the biggest headache by far out of all of my PC headaches. Tell me how you are going to charge double (70-80$) for a game (most games are reasonable being around 40$) on steam THAT DOESNT EVEN WORK. I’ve gone and messed up all of me pcs settings trying to get it to work just for me ea app to crash 5 seconds after start up. The first solution is to clear your cache from the ea home page… IT WONT EVEN LET ME SIGN IN! WTF DO YOU MEAN! Great games guarantee refund
Hello, I would please like a refund for The Sims 4 Love struck add-on. It's not been 24 hours and it doesn't seem to appear on my orders as refundable - but I just assumed it was part of the great games guarantee, I didn't realise some games are not ?? Does that mean you can't guarantee that all games are great?? Sounds dodgy... I also can't find a customer service chat button anywhere. EA App refund
Hey everyone, i bought the sims medieval game for Mac (triple checked this) , but when i went to the EA App it says it only works on windows and doesn’t let me download it. I have a macbook air m2 so i thought it wouldn’t have any problem running. But apparently it doesn’t. The problem now is I went to the refund tool page because if the game is unplayable there is no reason for me to leave it as is— but when I reach the point of selecting the refund method it gets stuck and doesn’t go any further. I tried restarting my pc, sign out and in again, changing the reason for the refund but nothing works. Also i cannot reach ea through emails to request said refund so… what can I do? Make your whole network usable
How on earth you made an online forum that is worse than free ones using phpbb? why on earth you dont have dark mode on the forum? (because everyone likes getting flashbanged every time reading in the night) why on earth your ea app have to enter a weird-ahh, bug every five minutes? if you are obligating people to use your products, buy your games, then maybe, just maybe, show some care about them? Order processing take too long ,, payment already purchased
