Unhappy players
Im struggling with keeping players happy even though I rotate the squad if someone gets injured the complain about not getting games and then request to leave. Ive even used AI to help with squad rotation and even that cant do it, players miss one game and request to leave even my sporadic players want more game time how can you build a squad if everyone get upset too quickly and requests to leave, please fix as the game is not enjoyable.Career Mode – No Transfer or Loan Offers for Lower-Rated Players
I’m experiencing what appears to be an issue with incoming transfer and loan offers in Manager Career Mode. In my save, players with lower OVR ratings receive almost no offers, even when they are placed on the Transfer List or Loan List. What I have observed: Youth Academy players promoted to the senior team at around 65 OVR receive no loan offers. • Real players rated around 70–77 OVR also receive no transfer offers. • Real players rated 78 OVR or higher do receive offers normally. • The issue continued into the second season. • Players can eventually become unhappy due to lack of playing time because I cannot loan them out. This does not appear to be limited to generated Youth Academy players, because I can reproduce similar behaviour with real players as well. I also have “Block Offers” enabled for many of my starting players. I am currently testing whether this setting has any connection to the issue, but I have not confirmed that yet. This is particularly problematic for Youth Academy development. Normally, I would promote a young player around 60–70 OVR and loan them out for development, but currently I cannot reliably receive loan offers for them. It looks like the transfer AI may be applying an overly restrictive OVR/value/demand threshold when generating offers for players. Platform: PS5 Pro Mode: Manager Career Occurrence: Consistent across multiple transfer windows / continued into Season 2 Has anyone else experienced the same behaviour, particularly with players below approximately 78 OVR? CM: Updated thread title for clarity and context.
EA Sports FC 27 Launch Feedback Update: Zero Timeline for Patch Releases
Internal testing by EA developers have known about these gamebreaking issues for five months, even before closed beta version of the game was released. Now, one month after Early Access release, they have publically acknowledged the primary issues with the game, however, no timeline has been offered for when to expect the patch releases. Thousands or millions of dedicated Manager Career mode players have played the game for less than ten hours total, since September 17th, and have now uninstalled the game awaiting singnificant repairs to the game mode. In addition, between the elements listed in the article yesterday, Career Mode Beta Feedback report weeks ago, Trello Board, and both Title Updates released with some variant of patches for career mode (1.0.3 and 1.0.4), only about half of the issues are listed as 'Under Investigation'. Game elements not reported or supposedly patched, which do function as intended. Dynamic OVR causes players to demand Crucial or Important roles within months of starting a new Manager Career mode save, even when at the start, are listed as Sporadic or Rotational. Inability to resign scouted youth or existing squad players to contract extension. Broken youth scouting reports and no ability to recall or send scout to other countries after final black report has been issued. Disable Pitch Wear career mode setup menu option does not function, and after ten matches, pitches become destroyed from gameplay and weather. Zero significant changes to Player Career mode or Create-a-Club with legacy issues persisting for numerous years; i.e. Create-a-Club goalkeeper jersey logo glitch, now into the third year of being glitched. Team Management sheet does not save reserve bench player configuration, reverts to random settings when exiting the sheet. CPU Teammate Behavior sliders reset to default (50) levels everytime exiting career mode back to main game dashboard, or shutting down device. Main game Club Transfer system still producing either duplicate players that are hardcoded to Classix XI or national teams, or player remains in the squad after a move to Free Agency/another club. Inability to assign a squad number to loaned in players. This is just an abbreviated listing of the numerous career mode issues, personally tired of listing them every week. If any EA developers care to review other postings in this forum, there probably are dozens more that are not listed as under investigation. Are any of these gamebreaking issues going to be corrected in the next two weeks, or do we have to wait, until mid November or December to start just the first Manager Career mode save with minimal bugs and glitches?
Pitch Wear FIXED!
This is the best fix I've found. 1. Go to the main menu and enter Kick-Off mode. 2. Click Classic Match and pick your Career Mode team as the home side. 3. Go to Game Settings and change the pitch type to Artificial Turf. 4. Back out of Kick-Off and re-load your Career Mode file. You also have to do the above for every team in the league so their stadiums don't have pitch wear. And also for every team you play away to in cup competitions.
Player Career Playstyle Thresholds Should Not Be Percentages
Background for people unaware: To equip playstyles in Player Career Mode, you must meet criteria based on the three 'personality' types. The criteria are percentages of the whole of personality points you've earned; for example, to equip the Power Shot playstyle, your 'personality' must be at least 50% 'Virtuoso'. For example, in the below screenshot, you can see that I've earned a total of 23,288 personality points, 11,541 of which are Virtuoso points, while Maverick and Heartbeat account for the rest. On the right, you can see that my Quick Step (and Power Shot) playstyles, which define my player's identity, are no longer available, because Virtuoso now only represents 49% of my personality points. You may ask: why would you acquire points in things other than virtuoso if you knew these skills were essential? After all, I have known about this mechanic since EA FC 25, when I had this exact thing happen to me. What I did not realize at the time, because I had just been buying and saying everything with no real rhyme or reason, was that you are awarded personality points based on your in-game actions. That's cool, right? It's always nice to get rewarded for doing well, right? Wrong. Completing passes, getting assists, making tackles, and many other actions one might take while trying to win a game, reward the wrong type of personality points, and it would benefit me to stop doing those things in order to game the system and maintain my virtuoso trait. This has been a problem since EA FC 25, when this system was introduced. There are other discussions on this forum about it: Virtuoso Personality Progression Is Completely Broken | EA Forums - 13013596 Users on Reddit have taken to modifying constants in the code to get around it: https://www.reddit.com/r/FifaCareers/comments/1shegl7/finally_solution_to_personality_points_to/ I think it is clear that this is poor game design, and it punishes the player for doing things that should not be punished. Not to mention this is an offline, single-player gamemode, so there should be no concern about competitive balance. I propose that these thresholds, rather than being percentages of total personality, should instead be absolute numbers, such as 10k, 15k, 30k etc. of a certain personality type. This still gives a sense of progression, still encourages the player to think about personality types, but avoids what is currently a really truly terrible mechanic, and a mechanic that got me to type all of this: I make progress, do better as a player, and my skills are taken away from me. It makes no earthly sense and I really don't understand how it's been implemented for a third year running, but I'm willing to forgive that if this relatively simple change could be made. To be honest, otherwise, I'm considering a refund and certainly not making the mistake of actually shelling out for one of these games. Seeing the same bugs* get carried from year to year really makes me lose faith that anybody over there has a sense of responsibility for putting out a good game. *Why, since 2018, does the coach tell me to "Release the ball sooner" whenever I foul somebody? I didn't have the ball. Why doesn't the pro camera or end-to-end give me the ability to switch sides? I'm supposed to play backwards for half the match? It's not really a bug, but I don't understand why you don't allow us to see the team's game plan and player instructions. If I miss the 2 second notification that my position changed, I get yelled at the rest of the game without even knowing what position I'm supposed to play. As a footnote, I am a software engineer, and I would be happy to be onboarded and fix these issues for minimum wage. I just want to play my game.
Manager Live objectives: 3/3 Completed but XP Rewards Not Granted
I completed all three Manager Live challenges. The progress correctly shows 3/3, and all three challenges are marked as completed. However, I did not receive the Season XP awarded for completing the 3 challenges, and I also did not receive the Season XP from completing the entire objective group. After restarting the game, the objectives still show 3/3 completed, but the missing XP has not been granted. Please check my account progression/reward logs and grant the missing Season XP for both completing all 3 challenges and completing the entire Manager Live objective group. I have restarted the Game and Played 5 matches and didnt count.Pitch wear is STILL broken
Even when turning pitch wear off in settings before starting a career, the pitch still has wear applied to it. After 6+ years of users asking on these forums / other sites, we now finally have the ability to disable pitch wear, but for whatever reason the developers/designers have decided to apply pitch wear on the grass for every game of the season. It makes no sense. Yes it’s minimal, but still highly noticeable in all weather conditions and more importantly just so unrealistic for the majority of leagues. Turning off pitch wear should remove it all together. This was fixed in an FC26 patch. Please revert back / fix.EAFC27 Manager Career Mode is clearly not enjoyable!
Dear manager, first of all, I truly appreciate the effort you put into the Q&A sessions. I would like to make a point and ask a question. 1 - While developing this game, doesn't even a single person play the manager career mode for just one season and notice these bugs? 2 - You keep saying, "We are looking into it" or "There will be an update," but this game is released every 12 months, not every five years. We constantly miss out on a fun gaming experience because of these bugs; by the time they are finally fixed, June has arrived, and then you release FC28. We never actually get to play the game properly for the full 12 months.Career mode - player time and transfers
For the love of god I BEG you EA to fix the incessant transfer requests and unnecessary poor morale from players. It’s not unheard of in real life for nearly the same starting 11 to play nearly every game. The moment one player doesn’t start a couple games you get the message ‘I need more games boss…’ then of course the inevitable happens where they request to leave. In what real world scenario does this happen? Would you really expect a player like Saka or Eze to do this? No. So please please fix this as it is unplayable at the moment. The dynamic overall is poor as well. How you can possibly start a career, be unbeaten in the prem 10 games in and suddenly half the squad are in poor or bad form? Please just give us the option in the career set up for this dynamic overall nonsense so we can all untick it and play career mode without these things making it unplayable. why when you start a new career with an existing manager does he then become the NEW manager? Can this be amended as well? Please address these issues. To pay nearly £100 for this game to be in this state isn’t acceptableCareer Mode
I would like to suggest an improvement to Career Mode: whenever a player reaches an overall rating of 90, they should automatically receive a Gold PlayStyle, even if they are not currently part of your team. This would apply to all players in the game, making player development more rewarding and realistic, while adding greater depth and excitement to Career Mode.No new young players generating in career mode
Since the update no new players in career mode have been generating. I’m in 2030/31 and only 8 players in the world under 22 are rating over 80. is there a fix or is it just completely broken? There’s no point in playing as everyone in the game is going to be old with no young players.NEW REGEN SYSTEM
The new regen system completely desbalanced the realism of the game. They have completely overpowered stats, and i started just the first season. They always start as free agents, so i can build a team full of them, which one with potential 86+. A player like lamine yamal, with 18 years and a 85 overrall only happens one time in ten years. On FC 27 there are plenty of them. I bought this game with the trailers saying that the career mode would be realistic, and this system completely TURNED DOWN my will to continue playing my career.Manager career
• dynamic overall goes up and down way too much rest a player and it shoots right down. • signing players teams never accept loan back. • players miss a game or 2 for rest complain they need more games far too often You play them and they request to leave. • you enquire about player and even if you don’t sign them they always go elsewhere and they shouldn’t. As a test enquired on a lot of players and didn’t sign them they all still left that club. please fix these as they are game breakers.
