Bring Back 2v2 and 3v3 Co-Op with Real Rosters
Hi EA Madden team, I know you might not even read this, but I'm writing it anyway because this matters to us. I've pre-ordered Madden every year for the last 12 years, and my first Madden was 2002. My friend and I pre-ordered Madden 27 as well, so this isn't a complaint from someone on the fence. We're the players who show up every August. Removing Superstar KO took away the only way to play 2v2 or 3v3 with real teams and real rosters. That mode is why my friend and I played together. There is no replacement for it in Madden 27, and judging by the reaction on Reddit and elsewhere, we're far from the only duo who feels this way. KO had a large, loyal community built up over years. What we're asking for: 1. A competitive 2v2 mode (3v3 as well, ideally) using real NFL teams and current rosters. This is the core ask. Even 2v2 alone would bring a lot of us back to playing together. 2. Record tracking for duos and trios. Win/loss records tied to your squad would give the mode real stakes and staying power. This part is a bonus, but it's the kind of feature that keeps people queuing all year. We understand modes get cycled out. But this one was the only co-op experience with authentic rosters, and cutting it left a hole nothing else in the game fills. Please bring it back, or build something new that lets friends team up with real teams. Thanks for reading, if you made it this far. We want to keep supporting this game for another 12 years. There is no captain patch at all for when you become a team captain and Madden they make you stay three or four years and work and grind and you don’t see the captain patch on whatever player you are using. It is a small detail but it’s very crucial to the realism of the game, can we please get that added backSUPERSTAR PLAYERS: STOP MAKING SEPARATE COMPLAINTS. LET’S MAKE EA HEAR ONE.
Superstar players, at what point do we actually make EA listen? Seriously, how many years are we going to keep doing this? We complain about the same problems or some variation of them, EA tells us what they’ve improved, we buy the next Madden and then we’re right back on these forums again. The CFB community just proved with #CFBPlayDontPay that organized pressure can actually work. Maybe Superstar players need to start doing the same thing. The frustrating part is Superstar actually has the bones of a really good career mode. The defense is good. Honestly, sometimes it’s TOO good, but I don’t want EA making defenders stupid. I want the guys on MY TEAM to have some of that same intelligence. I’m tired of watching receivers drop balls that hit them in the hands while defenders make ridiculous catches. I’m tired of DBs getting beat and magically recovering, suction tackles, ridiculous interceptions and having a playbook full of play-action early in your career while you don’t have enough control yet to get yourself out of bad plays. Then you have these manufactured scenario games. The snow game is a perfect example. Increased chance of fumbling in the snow? Cool. That actually makes sense. But when I’m coughing the ball up every other possession, sometimes right when I’m finally putting a scoring drive together, while the simulated CPU offense somehow goes on a 15-play scoring drive without fumbling, come on man. That’s not weather affecting the game. That’s the game affecting ME. Same thing with the games where your TEs are suddenly unavailable or you’re dropped into some manufactured situation because Superstar decided this week needs to be extra difficult. Why? Just let us play football. I’m not asking to win every game. Sometimes I should beat somebody 38-10 because I played my **bleep** off. Sometimes I should get smoked 31-7 because they did. Sometimes it should come down to the last possession. That’s what makes football fun. And yes, I’m winning. That doesn’t mean I’m enjoying it. Winning while feeling like I’m guaranteed to throw one or two INTs every game or waiting to see what the game is going to do to me next isn’t fun. There’s a difference between winning and actually being able to dominate when you’re playing well. If people like the scenario games, keep them. Just give the rest of us a toggle. Let me play my schedule, build my player and see what happens without Madden constantly trying to manufacture some storyline for me. And if you’re dealing with this stuff too, stop making 50 different posts that EA can ignore one at a time. Like/Me Too this one. Add what you’re seeing in your Superstar career. Tag other people dealing with it. Put it all in one place. Because we’ve been asking nicely for years. At some point, maybe Madden players need to do what the CFB community just did and stop paying until EA starts listening. #NoFixNoMaddenMAKE SUPERSTAR MODE PLAYABLE
We get it that you EA folks don't give a goddamn about this mode, but if you don't like maintaining this part of the game, ditch it. Stop putting it out there in an unplayable state. This time around, there's the glitch of not being able to unlock the OC... This, of course, means you can't call audibles, re-route receivers, adjust protection, call any plays (other than the 3 crappy options you're allowed to choose from), and more... On top of that, there are no sliders. Therefore, I get to drop back and be sacked far more often than I'm able to get rid of the ball. The O-Line players often stand there while the D-Linemen they're supposed to be blocking stand up and sprint right at the QB and defile him ... It's nearly every single drop-back. Either fix this issue or give us some goddamn sliders so the mode is relatively playable. We drop a lot of money on this game, and every year it's not remotely ready for market. Really you guys? After what you tried to pull in CFB… WE NEED to be allowed to turn off wear and tear LIKE RIGHT NOW! I’m not sure who’s giving y’all these ideas on how to change things up. You know what needs changing? The story line, the upgrading features, which I think are pretty dope this year! but cut the **bleep**. People love this game mode because it’s a sandbox and you get to do what you want to do with it. IT’S NOT EVEN ONLINE. If you don’t fix this. My last year buying Madden. Doing my part to ask for this game mode back. This is the only reason me and my boys play this game. Lot of people on here want this so please bring it back. Also if you could keep track of records and stats that'd be cool too but I'd just be happy with the game mode back!panthers stadium glitch
i reported on this before but only when i score against the panthers, the players just awkwardly go to the sideline as a cutscene of the field plays and you can’t do anything from here but pause and look at the cutscene. all of my progress i made during the game is gone and i was in the fourth quarter thinking i can finally be done playing the game. i would love if u guys could fix this its annoying to have to restart a lot of the time because of these bugs.Superstar KO (2v2/3v3)
I have been playing Madden for over 20 years… The last few games with Superstar KO mode (solely2v2/3v3) made the game fun. It’s embarrassing that the mode was taken out. It had a large fan base and gave the average person who plays something to do with friends. Having to pay to play MUT to even be competitive is extremely irritating for people who don’t waste money just to win. Playing a 2v2 or 3v3 game on ultimate team is cool for people that do that, not the average person who would rather relax and enjoy a casual game with friends. This year not having the duo or trios really makes me feel like it was a waste of money. You can’t play with friends and have a good time at this point. EA for once in your life, listen to the fan base and bring 2v2 and 3v3 back…Superstar Mode Needs Year-by-Year Stats, Player Cards & Better Schedules
Madden 27 Superstar Mode needs better career tracking. Year-by-Year Stats: Let us view stats from every individual season, not just the current season and overall career totals. Player Cards: Franchise already has player cards showing year-by-year stats. Superstar should have the same thing for our created player, including career stats, awards, Pro Bowls, Super Bowls, and milestones. Better Team Schedules: Let us easily view our full schedule with previous scores and upcoming games. Also, both Superstar and Franchise should show BOTH teams’ records for each matchup. Example: Jets (8-2) vs Ravens (7-3) These are basic features that would make long Superstar careers much more immersive.Superstar Mode
Right off the top ... It's my understanding that EA revamped defensive play for this one. Unfortunately, this has translated into the game being almost unplayable. My QB character is overwhelmed almost immediately on every single drop-back and is sacked anywhere from 6 to 10 times per game. No sliders for this mode means there's no way to dial that back. Another bug is that you somehow aren't able to accumulate influence points with the OC. This means no progression... You stay stuck on the ground floor level and aren't allowed to audible, reroute receivers, or have access to more than three plays at a time... Most of the time, those three plays suck.I love for more customization in hairstyles for superstar mode
I love the new option in the career mode but the lack of up to date hairstyles still amazes me. I would love for more realistic hairstyles for superstar mode. In not asking for a over haul of hairstyles but I believe having the same hairstyle in all the career modes for that last few years is crazy when we’ve seen all kinds of styles in the leagueSuperstar Influence… Inner Circle Regression. Why Am I Losing Playbook Access?
In Madden 26, once a coach reached your Inner Circle, EA explicitly stated that you could no longer lose Influence Points with that character. However, in Madden 27, I experienced a rather unexpected situation. I lost 100 Influence Points with my Offensive Coordinator for making a seemingly innocuous choice: “Don’t worry about me, Coach. I got this” before a game against Baltimore. This decision immediately dropped me below the threshold for full playbook access. To provide some context, my Superstar Quarterback has an impressive record, having won three consecutive Super Bowls, multiple Super Bowl MVPs, a league MVP, and Rookie of the Year. Despite these accomplishments, telling my OC “I got this” should not result in losing access to the offense that has been instrumental in our three championship victories. Even stranger, I proceeded to complete one training session immediately afterward, which miraculously restored the 100 Influence Points and unlocked the entire playbook once again. I’m left wondering whether the Inner Circle protection from Madden 26 was intentionally removed in Madden 27, or if this is simply a bug. Regardless of the reason, it’s crucial to consider the career context of our Superstar Quarterback. Losing his playbook due to a single, reasonable dialogue choice is not something that should happen to a three-time Super Bowl champion.Super Sim Superstar Broken
See video. I get a fourth-down stop. My offense in Supersim gets a 26-yard gain. I'm then immediately put back on defense. No fumble no interception. Even the commentators have nothing to say but defense is back out there. I went from Super Sim fast to normal because on fast the offense wouldn't do a single play. It would just put me back on defense. When I played the Chiefs both times I got a stop and it immediately put the Chiefs on the goal line. Normal is halfway playable but I don't want to lower to all-pro just to have a decent season.Superstar Mode
This is just my two cents and I expect many to disagree with me. But I just have to put my opinioin out there. This has nothing to do with the constant crashing a inability to complete a game. That is in another forum. It is my opinion that you have taken all the fun out of this game. Game modifiers for the games inability to adjust the majority of the settings. Wear and tear not being able to be turned off. This game is for the player's enjoyment, no one elses. Some players just want to come home play a game and enjoy it, not have every game to be forced on us. Then on top of that when we start out we get three plays to choose from, it seems like they are randomly select that don't even match our goals for the game. That's just my two cents I'm sure many disagree and will probably hear git guid. But there are also some that agree with me. The game is beautiful, I just wish you would reintroduce fun back for the casual player that just wants to sit and play a game a night.
Superstar mode presentation
I just wanna start off by saying I'm from EU and don't really know much about American Football, basic stuff mostly but I enjoy playing the career mode as QB and HB every now and then. But why the hell is the presentation so bad on career(superstar) mode? I honestly haven't seen anything this bad in a while, at least on FIFA there's an option to play the full broadcast presentation instead of whatever these short & no immersion presentations are. Also on another note, why does Madden feel such an undeveloped game compared to College Football? I was playing CF before Madden released, and it was actually pretty fun, didn't notice too many bugs. I've been seeing bugs basically every game on Madden. Players bodies clipping all the time, going through each other's bodies, game gets stuck on the Loading screen more often than not whenever I hit Finish Game and the end of a game and have to constantly restart the game... I thought Madden was supposed to be the better of the two, but clearly College Football is a much better product. Luckily, I got both because of the EA App subscription, I can't even say how sorry I am for people who actually have to buy this crap at full price....Necessary “Quality of Life” Improvements
So I’ve already posted this in the Madden NFL 27 Discussion Section but I thought that seeing as how this also pertains to Superstar Mode, it kind of makes sense to reiterate it in here and it may also have more chance of being seen. But in the next patch (or the coming updates for the game).. I’m reaching out, in the hope the dev team will see this, so that they can address the following in the Apparel section of the Creation Suite. Torso: Add a “White Relaxed T Shirt” option (along with other colors, respective to each team’s uniform colors) to work with the “Compression Tee” options. Many players actually do wear this style (Kyle Williams of the New England Patriots is one of them). Gloves: Can you also address glove colors and their respective logo and design colors. e.g If a player (created or real player) is playing for the New England Patriots, they should be able to wear white Nike gloves with a red logo and design color. etc. It’s Quality of Life changes like this that need addressing, otherwise the Creation Suite is no different or it hasn’t improved (much), over Madden NFL 26. Arms: An overall improvement to the “Arm Sleeve Quarter (Color)” options is needed. Currently, they literally look like they’re just painted straight onto the arms, whereas they should look much more like the “Compression T Shirt” options. Cleats: A simple QoL improvement here, would be to bring the Shoe Color Palette that’s currently in Superstar Mode (respective of a team’s uniform colors) into the Creation Suite outside of Superstar Mode. Not every player in the real world wears the same cleat color and the Shoe Color Palette option would correct and alleviate this. If any of the EA Community Staff could pass this onto the Development team or the correct department that deals with customization, it would be greatly appreciated. I’ve played 2v2 or 3v3 online for years with my friends but this year can’t find it anywhere to play online with them on my team. Did they actually take out another game mode? Does this company actually have meetings and say “how do we make this experience worse for everyone?” Thank God I only spent the money on a 10 hour trial. Won’t be using more than 15 minutes of it or end up buying the game for the first time in a long time. No clue why they never added a EASFL to play with friends. Miserable game.
