Chapter 7 "Activate the Launch Tubes" PS5 game-breaking bug!
So after completing chapter 6 I went to do a side-mission "You Are Not Authorized" and used the tram. A cut scene was triggered where the tram seemed like it crashed into something, and now it says the Mining area is "locked". It only takes me to Engineering. The current main objective is in the mines and I no longer can access that area. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING. A $70 GAME SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS MANY GAME-BREAKING BUGS. Has anyone else run into this?
Dead Space 2 Wont Lauch
First off, The fact that i have to go to a forum for support and not have the ability to contact EA directly without running into a piece of !@#$ AI software that literally does nothing but ask for information and direct you to the forum is unacceptable. Now that that's out of the way i need help on trying to launch dead space 2 on the EA APP on PC. I've tried every method the other forums explained and nothing seems to work. I just finished the first one and it was amazing. Please Help

bonjour, je 'arrive pas à lancer Dead Space sur mon PC. Ca me dit qu'une erreur vient du coté de EA et de réessayer plus tard. Or ça fait 10 jours que l'on réessaye plus tard et ça ne fonctionne toujours pas, et bien évidement l'assistance n'est pas disponible sur ce jeu. Nous l'avons désinstallé et réinstallé plusieurs fois et utilisé aussi la réparation, mais rien n'y fait... Pour info : voici ma configuration Stockage 9,10 TB Memoire RAM installee 64,0 Go Carte graphique 12 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Vitesse : 4200 MT/s Processeur 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K 3.00 GHz Une idée de comment faire ?
Will there be a Dead Space 2 Remake
Does anyone think they will be a Dead Space 2 Remake? i have been a long time fan of the Dead Space Franchise and i tried the spiritual successor to Dead Space, aka The Callisto Protocol and in my opinion it fell way WAY short of the mark. I know me and a friend of mine is hoping for a Dead Space 2 Remake cause the games i feel were left on a cliff hanger at the end of Dead Space 3 as they still had more source material they could have covered to make a Fourth game but....

Hello all Yet another disgruntled user whose having this stupid problem. Whats affected? Dead Space 3 Whats happening? After 2 hours of gameplay on the 17th of Feb (on twitch becuase yay fun times) - I attempted to play the game again. You know as you would with a game you have purchased. HOWEVER - the game and whatever else is going on - has other plans. Namely to frustrate and anger me to the point of heavy drinking. I have now spent FAR MORE TIME troubleshooting this stupid problem than I have actually enjoying the game I purchased. The game - refuses - to load after load screen - after it loaded to the main screen, choosing a save file OR a bran d new game (in an attempt to play coop) - I am greeted by the following sequence of events. Immediate shut down of the game - the Ea app showing a lovely message : An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later. I have been 'trying later' for 3 days. System : Windows 11 25h2 update - 5800x, 9070 xt, 64gb ddr4 ram I have attempted the following troubleshooting: Close and restarted steam. Close and restarted EA app I have cleared the EA origin cache on the app Verified files via Steam (the EA app says I must manage the game via Steam so I cannot do this on the EA app) Closed and restarted the PC it was based on I have changed DNS from - automatic to - Google 8.8.8.8 - to Quad 9 DNS 9.9.9.9 and back I've tried running through VPN to numerous countries via NORD I have turned off/ disabled / shut down every concievable overlay or game recorder or integration I have or know of that is installed (Logitech, Medal, MSI Afterburner, Steam, EA App, AMD Adrenalin, ShareX) Rebooted the router AND internet it was based on. I have deleted, reinstalled and clean wiped graphics drivers I have updated Motherboard drivers I have uninstalled the game I have uninstalled the EA App I have clean wiped all traces of the EA app from the system using Revo uninstaller and its associated 'hidden gem finder' to totally wipe it Removed all save game data from my system (I was you know only 2 hours in, who cares right? ) I have rolled back windows updates that happned AFTER the game was played successfully I have REUPDATED windows to their latest patches I thought it could be due to a resolution issue - since I am on 1440p and the game originally launched in Casio Calculator vision - so i have reset that by going through the settings file to manually reset those resolutions on the text file. I have installed the game on my 2nd PC that I have as a stream pc - lower specs 5800x - Nvidia 1070ti, MSI motherboard - which meant a fresh install of the game, a fresh install of the EA App, and a totally different connection I have thought this could be some kind of connection bug or hiccup - so I have ALSO specifically set windows firewall excemptions for EA app AND Dead space 3. I want to play this game, I really do. I want to play it with friends becuase THAT is fun. I have tried and failed to find a way to submit a new case on the EA Help page - so unless thats either gone the way of the dodo - or the AI Overlords - a link to that would be prime. If anyone has any other suggestions, thoughts or rites to elder gods - that I havent already tried - that doesnt involve going to a 5 finger discount site to just play the **bleep** game - I'm waiting in a pit of my own dispair.
I can't properly launch Dead Space 3. The game won't start
I can't properly launch Dead Space 3. The game won't start, and an error message appears. This message "A problem on our end caused the launch to fail. Please try again later." I was able to play Dead Space 3 before, but recently it won’t start. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps provided by EA customer support, but the problem still persists. Please advise me on how to resolve this issue, as I purchased a game that may become unplayable at any moment. I have three EA games that I can’t play, including Star Wars Battlefront II, Mirror’s Edge, and Dead Space 3. None of them are working. I paid for these games, but now I can't play them, and the issues still haven't been resolved. Should I be asking for a refund? I bought the game through Steam.
Dead space 3 EA overlay, not able to open game
Recently I wanted to play the dead space 3 with my friend with the Co-op, I was not able to turn on the game without turning off the EA overlay which made the game not playable with my friend. Previously I had this issue with the origin, but I can play it with my friend due to the option of able to invite through the steam app. Now it seems like inviting thorugh steam is not an option anymore. Since, I could not see the Invite word anymore upon opening the steam overlay. Pleae help, I have reintalled the game, reintalled the EA app itself. It seems like there is no more solutions that i can think of. The game itself just never turn on, never black screen or anything. It just suddenly closed itself when looking at the task manager.
Traversal stutter appears CPU-bound during streaming events
Hi Motive team, Traversal stutter during area transitions is still consistently reproducible. The game otherwise maintains high and stable FPS, but frametime spikes occur when moving between sections of the Ishimura. Based on testing, this does not appear to be GPU-limited. Average framerate remains high, and the issue persists on fast SSD/NVMe storage. The behavior feels more CPU-bound during streaming events, as if workload spikes occur when new assets are loaded. Interestingly, reducing storage throughput (via a community workaround) lessens the severity of the spikes, which suggests the issue may be related to how aggressively assets are streamed and processed rather than raw hardware limits. I understand that large engine-level changes may not be feasible at this stage. However, if there are any adjustments that could smooth CPU workload during traversal (such as streaming pacing or buffering changes), even partial mitigation would significantly improve smoothness. Dead Space Remake is otherwise an outstanding experience, and this remains one of the only technical issues affecting immersion. So I was playing impossible mode and I was a few hours into the game, and then out of no where I enter the shop and my game is just not letting me interact with any of the controls. No matter what I do, the game does not want to budge and let me move and interact with it anymore. I am only allowed to click into the menu to pause the game and do anything I want in the menu section, but cannot actually PLAY the game. I don’t want to restart this all over again because of some bug that won’t let me do anything at all and continue. I’ve tried pressing circle on my controller (PS5 controller,) and messing around with the controls, and testing my internet and I’ve tried searching for videos or anything to fix this but I guess maybe I’m the only who’s had this bug??? my character is still doing his little movements while he looks at the shop, and there’s lights flickering in the background, but I cannot interact and control my game any longer. If anyone knows or thinks of a possible solution please help! I’m deep into the game and don’t want to restart all over again. Please help EA or anyone else! (P.S. I did not create a save in the past 4 hours because I wanted to save once I was leaving the ship around chapter 10-11, thank you.)
Problems with audio adjustment using Windows 10 Audio Mixer
I recently bought Dead Space 3, my first Origin game, and for my other games (GOG and Steam) I usually use Audio Mixer to lower the volume for applications, as it offers the most balanced way to speak to friends in a Discord chat and hear my game. (the in-game audio settings just end up making it too quiet or too loud) However, Deadspace 3 doesn't seem to like my use of the Mixer, I will Alt-Tab out of the game, lower the volume of the game to about 25%, it seems to save this setting in the main menu but once I load up a game the setting immediately goes back up to 100%. I've tried many many different ways to fix this, and eventually determined that Dead Space 3 is the only game or application that has this issue...so I figured it's either a problem with the game itself or a problem with Origin. Does anyone know what I can change or edit to get Deadspace to take my settings?
Cannot get DS3 to launch (STEAM)
I have tried fresh installs of EA app and DS3, my accounts are linked, I have tried running compatibility modes for win 7 and 8, running as admin, clearing caches, verifying integrity of game cache, restarting my pc multiple times, disabling both steam and EA app overlays. I do not understand what is going wrong. I launch the game, it says "preparing game" in the EA app, screen goes black with cursor loading wheel, then it closes and EA says "failed to start the game." Please help.

Hello, I'm writing my third letter, no one is answering me or fixing the problem . On February 4th I bought the game Dead Space 3 from EA through my account: danko2142 Order date: 04/02/26 Order number: 1005662992512 The game was downloaded, but when I wanted to start it, it did not start, a window appeared with the following error: Invalid license. Reason code=Missing DLL d3dx9_43.dll Error 0x000000c1 Please help me solve the problem!
Deadspace 3 won't activate?
I don't know why this game even needed re-activation, it was already installed and working. I haven't been able to activate it for a long time, so this isn't going to fix itself. I bought this game on EA Origin back when it came out, and it's not fair that I can no longer play the game I paid for, because of unnecessary product activation schemes. I mean, what more should they need? I'm signing into my EA account with the EA APP client. Anybody else having this problem, or found a solution? This is all I get (screenshot)
