DS3. Why is the game telling me that Hardcore and Survival modes are completed?
Hi! I’ve now completed both modes, but the game was telling me they were completed even before that. And I never received the achievements for them. The game shows me a ticker with my friend’s kill statistics. Am I correct in understanding that this data is stored on a remote server, just like the data about completing various modes? Is there any way to reset it?" THX
Crates Not Opening Bug (Dead Space 2023)
I've searched for a while and only came up with a handful of people reporting this on Reddit with no workable solutions. I made it to chapter 5 only to find that any locked security crates refuse to open after passing the security clearance. The interact prompt just disappears and the box remains closed. I've tried restarting the game app, I've tried stomping, punching, shooting, and kinesis. Nothing. No other save files to reload. I'd try leaving for another area to see if that helps, but I'm locked in Medical for story reasons Honestly, 3 years after release and published by EA means I have no hope this game will see another patch and I'm a bit disappointed in myself for breaking a roughly 10 year streak of not giving EA my money.

I’ve gone through the entire Dead Space universe and I have to say: the game made a huge impression on me! In my opinion, the main downside is that the original story remains unfinished. And why is there still no sequel? That’s truly surprising! The theme of spaceships and жуткие monsters — as we can see from the recently released The Callisto Protocol — is still at its peak and more in demand than ever. The Dead Space universe deserves a new chapter: it needs a breath of fresh air. Here are a few ideas for a sequel: • Playing as a colonist on Eudora 7 (or Eden 7). Show life on the station before the disaster: daily routines, mundane tasks, and the first alarming signs of a threat. This would add depth to the world and amplify the impact of the subsequent events. • The story of an Ishimura crew member. Not the main hero, but an ordinary technician or medic. Through the eyes of a regular crewmember, you could show the sheer scale of the ship and the growing panic from the inside. • Moving away from the main storyline. For example, the story of a colony that accidentally discovers an ancient Marker and tries to study it without understanding the consequences. • A new scenario with an unexpected setup. A ship heading to a colony accidentally stumbles upon a drifting capsule containing a necromorph. The crew decides to bring the find onboard for research — and triggers a chain of horrifying events. What else should be improved in a new installment: • Larger‑scale locations. The Ishimura is a magnificent ship, but it feels a bit cramped for a long‑distance space mission. Modern people would likely experience depression and claustrophobia long before reaching their destination. • More diverse environments. Add: • parks or green zones onboard (artificial ecosystems to support the crew’s psychological well‑being); • residential sectors with multi‑storey buildings, shops, and cafes — to really feel like part of a living world; • an extensive metro or monorail system for moving between sectors of a massive ship/station. This would make the world feel more realistic and immersive. Overall, the Dead Space universe is grand and vast — the Ishimura alone is worth a lot! But its potential is far from being fully realised. I’m really looking forward to a sequel and hope the developers will listen to the fans’ wishes — then the new installment could become a true masterpiece of cosmic horror sci‑fi. Hello, I'm writing to inform you along with many others on Steam that 4 achievements in Dead Space 3 are currently impossible to unlock. The achievements are listed as the following: Survivalist, Aren't You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC) I enjoy replaying my games and getting the most out of them for achievements and when they are broken it can remove the thrill of the game. Please either fix these achievements so they can be earned legitimately or just remove them. I understand this became an issue when you removed the achievement for earning all achievements for Dead Space 3 titled "Brave New World." This does not need the original dev team to be able to fix. Please also direct my message to EA_Shepard or any other community manager who is in charge and I'd be happy to explain more of this issue directly to them. Dead Space 3 disappeared from my library
It's been decades since I last connected to my EA account to play some games on pc. However, I recently got a new pc and decided to download EA to check on my old games. And for my surprise, my Dead Space 3 was not there anymore. I tried using the code from the CD from when I bought it (yes, I had the physical copy of the game) and I got a message saying the code was not available anymore. However the game is not on my library anymore, and I cannot redeem the old code. It's frustating because I had hours and hours within that game, achievements, DLCs, etc. Does anyone knows how to fix it?Dead space 2023 ignore save games
Dead space on Steam Crashed, and my save files are now "invisible " to the game. Tried all the instructions aroud: move file, rename files, create new files, delete folders, reinstall games. So I’m trying to get the online pass for dead space 3 on my Xbox one s. It says something like premium content is blocked and that I need to change my privacy settings. My settings are all set to adult. I assume it’s to do with it being the Xbox 360 store? I know it got closed down so maybe that’s the issue. And I’m unable to purchase the pass on the Microsoft store. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. Could I potentially get a code?
Traversal stutter appears CPU-bound during streaming events
Hi Motive team, Traversal stutter during area transitions is still consistently reproducible. The game otherwise maintains high and stable FPS, but frametime spikes occur when moving between sections of the Ishimura. Based on testing, this does not appear to be GPU-limited. Average framerate remains high, and the issue persists on fast SSD/NVMe storage. The behavior feels more CPU-bound during streaming events, as if workload spikes occur when new assets are loaded. Interestingly, reducing storage throughput (via a community workaround) lessens the severity of the spikes, which suggests the issue may be related to how aggressively assets are streamed and processed rather than raw hardware limits. I understand that large engine-level changes may not be feasible at this stage. However, if there are any adjustments that could smooth CPU workload during traversal (such as streaming pacing or buffering changes), even partial mitigation would significantly improve smoothness. Dead Space Remake is otherwise an outstanding experience, and this remains one of the only technical issues affecting immersion. Thank you for your time.Frozen game bug
So I was playing impossible mode and I was a few hours into the game, and then out of no where I enter the shop and my game is just not letting me interact with any of the controls. No matter what I do, the game does not want to budge and let me move and interact with it anymore. I am only allowed to click into the menu to pause the game and do anything I want in the menu section, but cannot actually PLAY the game. I don’t want to restart this all over again because of some bug that won’t let me do anything at all and continue. I’ve tried pressing circle on my controller (PS5 controller,) and messing around with the controls, and testing my internet and I’ve tried searching for videos or anything to fix this but I guess maybe I’m the only who’s had this bug??? my character is still doing his little movements while he looks at the shop, and there’s lights flickering in the background, but I cannot interact and control my game any longer. If anyone knows or thinks of a possible solution please help! I’m deep into the game and don’t want to restart all over again. Please help EA or anyone else! (P.S. I did not create a save in the past 4 hours because I wanted to save once I was leaving the ship around chapter 10-11, thank you.)
Cannot get DS3 to launch (STEAM)
I have tried fresh installs of EA app and DS3, my accounts are linked, I have tried running compatibility modes for win 7 and 8, running as admin, clearing caches, verifying integrity of game cache, restarting my pc multiple times, disabling both steam and EA app overlays. I do not understand what is going wrong. I launch the game, it says "preparing game" in the EA app, screen goes black with cursor loading wheel, then it closes and EA says "failed to start the game." Please help.
