Dead Space Deluxe Edition Upgrade
Hello, As a long-time customer, I feel somewhat cheated by EA. Specifically, when you want to buy Dead Space during a sale, you pay €9 for the base game and €10.50 for the Deluxe Edition. I received the standard version as a gift a year ago and would like to have the content of the Deluxe Edition, but if I want to buy it during a sale, I have to pay €10 because it's not discounted. I find it disgusting that new customers are given so much preferential treatment.
Dead space 2 activation code limit reached
I know there's a forum post already set-up for this but I haven't gotten any help from submitting tickets. I purchased it in 2018 and would like to play the game I paid for. If there's a specific ticket for just dead space 2 or a specific channel I haven't been down id like to know about it. Any help would be awesome. Thank you.
Dead Space 2 Remake
So EA decided to say no to a Dead Space 2 remake because the Dead Space 1 remake didn’t sell as well as they wanted. What irritates me is Dead Space 1 remake didn’t sell as well as it should have because EA barely marketed the game. A lot of people didn’t even know it was being made or even came out. Had EA actually put some effort into marketing it and caring about it, I guarantee it would have sold much better. There is still a huge market for Dead Space. If there wasn’t, then games like Resident Evil wouldn’t sell as well as they do. And Dead Space 1 remake continues to sell as we speak because people are buying it used, downloading it, etc. EA isn’t tracking it anymore, so to them, no one is playing it. I don’t understand having control over a beloved IP and caring so little about it. Dead Space 2 is great, but it absolutely could use the remake treatment. If for no other reason, than to help the game live on and be able to be played for a long time to come on newer systems. And now that Dead Space 1 remake has been out for a few years and has been played, a Dead Space 2 remake would sell much better because people are actually aware of its existance. EA is their own worst enemy, I swear. They’ll never be a good company. The only hope is the recent management changes and Glenn Scholfield trying to talk to them about doing another Dead Space. Just makes me sick when companies forget about or barely do anything with good IPs, like Sony with Bloodborne. I get that the gaming industry is a business but you’ve got to have some connection to gaming; to your consumers. You’re leaving money on the table, EA. Do better.
Dead Space remake: Lack of PC support and fixes, no Dualsense support
I originally played Dead Space remake at my friend's on his PS5 without a single issue, and now bought it on PC and stuck with a game-breaking bug that prevents Chapter 10 from ever starting. That’s it — I’m just done? I’m supposed to accept that I can’t finish the game when I’m literally right next to the ending? People keep suggesting “just reload a save from before Chapter 9 and replay it,” but unless you somehow kept an older save from Chapter 8, how were you supposed to know this glitch even exists? No regular player is going to predict something like this until it happens — and by then it’s already too late to fix without replaying hours of content. It’s unbelievable that a full-price game can simply refuse to let you finish it. And what makes it even more frustrating is that EA clearly doesn’t care about the legacy of their own games. This issue has been known for three years and still hasn’t been touched. They also still haven’t added DualSense support on PC, something that should’ve been included from day one (but u did it for more popular ones like BF6). Fans buy these controllers expecting to get the full feature set on PC — only to find out that NONE of it works in this game. Even a regular controller rumble doesn't work with Dualsense on PC! Just wow. But the lack of care doesn’t stop at their games — it extends to us, the customers who actually buy them. A serious bug! A critical item is missing!
The infected are displaying incorrectly, causing them to become invisible, and most are unable to attack the protagonist. Also, dropped items disappear instantly when the interact button is pressed. I tolerated these bugs until I reached Chapter 10. Suddenly, a crucial item for advancing the main quest also disappeared!!! I need batteries to open doors, but I can't find any batteries in their locations!!! (The bugs of missing infected and dropped items continuing to occur) I searched for related issues and discovered that this bug has existed for several years and hasn't been fixed! And I'm using an SSD, yet I still encountered this problem. Reloading save files and restarting the game didn't work; these problems reappear after a while. I also tried verifying file integrity on Steam, but that didn't work either. Recreating all game files or reinstalling the game (shaders, saves, etc.) didn't work either, or the problems still reappear later. Reinstalling Windows and hardware drivers didn't work either!!! It's clearly a problem with the game's scripts!!! I am extremely angry because I paid for the game, but it's riddled with serious bugs and unplayable. The game is now just a spacewalk observation video. EA, I implore you to fix this problem and give us players a belated response, as this issue has existed for several years.For the love of god, fix Chapter 9 of Dead Space (2023)
I played this game once on PS5 with no problems, and now I find I'm stuck with a game-breaking bug that causes Chapter 10 to never start. I guess I'm just done playing now? So close to the end? Some have mentioned loading a save from before Chapter 9 and replaying Ch. 9 again. But unless you just so happened to not overwite a save feom Ch. 8, you would have to KNOW that this glitch exists and might affect you. Something that the average player will never know until they have discovered the problem and it's already too late to remedy it. Utterly ridiculous that a game can be sold for full retail price and simply refuse to be played to the end. This series has become one of my favorites, and I am fully aware that it deserves better support than what it's been given. Shame on your lack of care and proper quality assurance as a company. How can any one trust your games if you can't even be bothered to make sure we get to have the full experience of said games?
Broken Menus
The dead space remake has this maddening issue with the main menu (and potentially more menus) where I get 100+ FPS and sub 100% GPU/CPU utilization but suffer immensely unresponsive menus, to the point where I can barely click options. In most cases it takes 10+ clicks to get a response in game. No overlays but the standard nVidia experience overlay (and when thats brought up the mouse is extremely slow and unresponsive in that as well. Drivers are updated, game files have been verified, no other game is causing any issue as far as I'm aware, is there any fix for this issue or has anyone even had a similar problemDead Dpace 2008 Chapter 9 fuse smash bug
So, Dead Space is one of my favorite games, I own it on 360/PS3 and wound up buying Dead Space 2008 and Dead Space 2 again on PC to stream them on Twitch. I even spent hours making custom art/animations so I'd have an Isaac animation that fired a plasma cutter in the corner whenever I held down the fire button in game. I even thought about upgrading the avatar for future playthoughs to match more of what I do in game. And then I got to Chapter 9 in the Valor, hard mode. I keep getting the same issue, the fuse boxes your supposed to smash are missing in the section where you have to use kineses on some mobile cover to reach and smash six fuses. They are all missing, and trying to shoot where they -should- be doesn't work either. I also noticed the glass wall that later gets smashed was already broken, as if it accidentally loaded an event status/trigger as being completed already. I see that EA has apparently known about this issue (And several other game breaking bugs in Chapter 9 alone) for years and still not fixed it. I assume I'm out of luck, but on the chance my specific information and/or bringing it up contributes to EA eventually fixing it, I'm prepared to send my save file over, and have plenty of video on Twitch of the issue in action. In the meantime, has anyone found a way to get around this issue when it happens? All of my hard mode save files appear to lead to the same bug. The only work around I've seen someone else mention, is to make another save just before the tram so you can reload the entire chapter but you have to be aware of the issue first. Is there a console command or something to restore the triggers or make the game think I finished the current task, or something I can edit into the save file directly? If the glass is smashed, does that mean another trigger has been activated to let me leave the area/chapter but the game just doesn't tell me?Dead space…
Yes I am very PO’d while writing this so forgive me, but wtf is up with dead space remake DELETING ALL MY SAVED DATA, ALL BECAUSE I **bleep** CLOSED THE GAME AFTER SAVING IN GAME AND CLOSING THE APP WITHOUT GOING TO THE STUPID **bleep** MENU. Actually stupid software and the fact y'all ain’t fix this issue is genuinely sad. I wasted multiple hours getting to the chapter I was on, exploring, looting, doing side objectives even, and now I don’t even wanna play it anymore after looking forward to it all day after work so thank you. Before anyone mentions paying for backup cloud saved data please stfu, you should not have to pay for an upgraded PlayStation plus membership to not lose all your saved data FOREVER over something so small.
Dead space 3 crashes when trying to access coop menu
Hi! so I’ve not played this in years but it seems people are still playing coop on the steam version.. I only have the EA version which will crash unless I run EA play in offline mode.. is there anyway to play coop through EA Play? Or are the servers just long gone and what’s why it’s crashing when it tries to connect to them?Through steam playing dead space 08
Ok I’ve never done one of these but I’m playing through the 08 dead space on Steam an I get to chapter 3 manually ignite the engine room after i open the 2nd door there’s no bridge there’s no fan it’s open to the outside an I can’t do anything……. I’ve tried verifying files I’ve even uninstalled an reinstalled the game
EA says I don't own DS2 when I do.
Back in 2013 I bought DS2 Collectors Edition. EA Library shows that I own the Standard Edition, no matter how often I input the Collectors Edition key. Worse, whenever I try to install it from the EA app, it tells me that I don't own the game. Yet, it is in my Library. It tells me to go Game Hub and get it from there as I removed it from my Library a few years ago. Nothing I do convinces the app that I own the game, even though it appears in my Library and says Standard Edition owned. HELP!Dead Space Remake does not launch – EA App restarts
HI! Dead Space Remake does not launch on my PC. When I click Play, deadspace.exe starts briefly and then closes immediately, sending me back to the EA App. I have already tried: EA App / Game environment: - Reinstalled EA App after manually deleting AppData and ProgramData - Fully reinstalled Dead Space Remake - Cleared EA App cache, ran App Recovery - Used the "Repair" option on the game - Tested with two different EA accounts - Tried launching in EA App offline mode Windows / System settings: - Latest NVIDIA driver installed for RTX 5070 - BIOS tested with dGPU-only mode - Secure Boot enabled - Windows Defender fully disabled - Controlled Folder Access / Ransomware Protection not enabled - Compatibility mode removed from deadspace.exe External software / conflicts: - Disabled all overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience, MSI Afterburner, etc.) - Uninstalled NordVPN completely (including kernel drivers) - No other network filters present Diagnostics: - DxDiag confirms DirectX 12.2 support - Event Viewer shows no application crash entries - Crash dump collection enabled, but no dump is created Using Process Monitor I traced the startup. Every time the game attempts to load: D:\Játékok\Dead Space (2023)\Core\Activation64.dll → FILE LOCKED WITH ONLY READERS After this, deadspace.exe exits with no error message. This shows the problem is with the DRM module (Activation64.dll) failing to initialize or being blocked incorrectly. Attachment provided: DxDiag.txt Complete Procmon logfile showing the Activation64.dll lock Please review and provide a fix or replacement for the DRM/activation module, because this issue is reproducible across clean installs and different accounts. I started playing Dead Space remake on Xbox series X. At around chapter 11 after collecting all weapon upgrades and completely filling in all power node slots for all weapons I went to the shop to change weapons. That's when I found out I couldn't. I only had the option to save my weapons in my inventory. I thought oh well I'll play thru till new game+ and that will fix my issue. Upon playing new game plus when I got to the first store I was excited to get all my weapons back and the bug to be gone, WRONG! THE BUG STILL EXISTED. NOT ONLY THAT BUT I BOUGHT THE UNIQUE 99K SUIT IMMEDIATELY AND SOUPED IT UP TO THE MAX. Then I tried the workarounds for the bug again, non of which worked when I originally discovered it in chapter 11 but who knows it could have happened in chapter 8 that's around the last time I switched my weapon loadout. So I switched from the unique suit back to the lvl suit. After switching to the lvl one suit with no avail trying to get my weapons equipped and out of my inventory. I decided to put back on the New game Plus Suit.... It HAD DISAPPEARED FROM MY INVENTORY. EA really needs to get their act together. Now I'm going to have to reload a pre new game plus save (I saved one time every chapter) and find out when the bug occured and replay the game thru there, possibly reacquiring all the weapons upgrades as well because I was missing some up until chapter 11. This frustrates the living hell out of me. I've tried every possible known fix and NONE worked. So now I'm basically just going to give up, it's not worth my time and effort to go back and find the 6 or 7 weapons upgrades I was missing if indeed the bug occured before chapter 11 and playthrough till the end again. EA you just lost a customer for life!!!?
Deadspace 2008 /Deadspace Remaster issues
I bought both games from steam and I cant get the original 2008 deadspace to run properly. crash at startup, audio loop when I select difficulty to beging the game it freezes and makes that audio loop. I played (deadspace2008) game other night after setting windows98/me in properties of exe file. got to the end of chapter 1 and the game crashed when trying to save it. also the Remaster is not smooth gameplay, I got so frustrated with the first original one I decided to go buy the remaster to see if they fixed all the issues. I am getting lag and stuttering and micro-stutters. just for the remaster version. All other games I own on my pc I play run fine. Specs: Asus Rog Strix G614JVR windows 11 pro i9-14900hx rtx 4060 8 gb 4 tb ssd 64 gb of ram
Attn: EA Support - Request to remove game from EA App PC Library - Dead Space 2
Since EA has made it nearly impossible to get through to their support staff and the fact that I have requested this numerous times, perhaps someone on here can direct me to EA Staff or moderators that may be able to help with my request. I have spent countless hours troubleshooting with EA Support Staff over the past couple of years trying to get my copy of DEAD SPACE 2 in my EA App library on PC to install with absolutely no success. I have asked/requested many times for EA Support Staff to permanently remove the game from my EA App library, as I cannot get it to install and run. I cannot even repurchase the game as it is listed as owned in my library, but as it stands its pointless having the game there if it won't install. Each time I have been told by EA Support Staff that they have escalated my request to their appropriate team to follow up and remove my game and each time they fail to do anything about it. So if someone from EA Support or a moderator could possibly forward my request to someone who might actually be able to fulfill this request it would be greatly appreciated.
