Mass Effect: Andromeda - "You are not allowed to access online features"
Whenever I try to connect online in Mass Effect: Andromeda I see the message "You are not allowed to access online features". I'm able to play other games fine online. I've tried clearing my ea app cache, unlinking and re-linking steam, and changing my dns settings. From what I read on the EA forums this is an issue that only EA support can fix, potentially by removing and re-adding the game to my account. I'd really appreciated any help with this issue, would love to be able to properly play the game I own. Thank you in advance. game has worked for me for the last 4 years. until this year. now I get that above error msg and windows reliability history showed Problem Event Name: BEX64 Exception Code: c0000005 and I tried many things I found online. this one finally got the game running without the above error msg: Press Start and type Windows Security, then open it. Select App & browser control. Scroll down and click Exploit protection settings. You’ll see two sections: System settings (global defaults) Program settings (per-app overrides) select program settings. add a program (I picked the complete path name to the executable) then I turned OFF Force randomization for images (Mandatory ASLR) click on apply game has been running 45 minutes instead of the immediate c0000005 error for the last month. even exited twice and game still restarted. game worked with the default setting ON until this year. has to be something windows 11 changed as the game (mass effect andromeda) has not been updated since before 2020. so try turning that one off. if your game still does not work and still shows c00000005, try turning off for this game only one of the other default system settings that are ON.500 Error when attempting to Download ME3
Hi, I attempted to download ME3 on the EA app after not having played in many years. I used to play through the Origin app but that has since been taken down. The EA app shows ME3 in my library and shows my history of the time played and achievements. Unfortunately every time I attempt to download it the EA app goes into meltdown and returns a 500 Error and crashes the EA app, having to force shutdown through task manager. Tried clearing cache, reinstalling the EA app, nothing seems to work... I can load other games through the app so it isn't a connection issue. Help needed!half of a product

Mass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
No online pass on my game, can't play MP, the dlcs don't seem to be active. Been in chat with support for over 4 hours, speaking to like a dozen diffrent agents. They all seem clueless. Case #242969621 First I started with the steam digital deluxe edition, but clearly when you buy it, the EA server actually gives you the standard edition. Okay, so i've seen four or five threads with the same issue, just contact support and they'll fix it, right? Well actually getting in touch with support seems nigh impossible, the ai chatbot that masquerdes as support won't let you. But eventually I got though. The first support agent lied and said it was steam's fault and I needed to talk to them to 'prove that i'd bought the dlc' (it's a one item bundle, you HAVE to buy the dlc) Anyway, i got in touch with another support agent who passed me off to another one, who got the Online Pass required to actually play MP. GREAT! But not the dlc. The agent then says "reinstall the game and it'll all be fixed k thx bye" and closed the chat on me. I reinstall, and wouldn't you know it, not fixed. I get back in chat with a new agent, then my tab closes itself and I can't reopen it no matter what I do. While i'm 'afk' the new support agent 'fixes' my problem by doing something, which completely removes my permissions and ownership of the game entirely. So I've got from 'has the game but no dlc or online' to 'has the game with online but no dlc' to 'can't even boot the game because EA app is saying that I don't own it' After two more agents and like another hour of this, I eventually get one who just completely removes the steam version from my account at all, presumably writing it off as irrecoverably screwed up by the previous guy, and he gives me the EA version of the game. Great! But no dlc or online. So i'm right back where I started. I eventually get another new agent, who makes me reinstall the game again (for the fourth time total so far) claiming 'you definitely have all of the permissions, you just need to reinstall and it will work' I reinstall. No dice, doesn't work. They say "We've logged this issue and will get back to you, when we find a solution, we'll send you a message in-game." in-game? You're going to send me a message through Mass Effect 3? Somehow I seriously doubt that. Also, why would I even boot the game up unless I know the issue is fixed? It's not like i'm going to be playing it. Also, the solution is simple. You just give me the online pass and the dlcs that come with the version of the game that I originally purchased. One of you literally already did that before another one of you screwed it up and took it back away from me again. Jesus, how is this so complicated? It's been five hours. Just give me what I paid for!let me play my games
i have owned mass effect 3 for many years. i have over 100 hours logged. today i launched my game and it says i need to enter a product key. which obviously i don't have since it was a digital download. i cleared cashe, i repaired game files, i closed the ea app and reopened it. i logged out and logged in. still i cannot play my game. please fix my account let me play my game and fix your app.
Suggestion - The next Mass Effect should bring back the ME3 Multiplayer formula
Hi everyone, As a long-time fan of the franchise, I wanted to share some feedback regarding the future of the Mass Effect series, specifically concerning the multiplayer component. Even today, the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer remains incredibly active with a dedicated player base. This is a testament to how solid that gameplay loop was. For the next chapter, I believe BioWare should look back at what made ME3's co-op so successful and replicate it without overcomplicating the formula. Key elements we would love to see: Classic Wave-Based Co-op: 4-player survival on tactical maps. It is a proven loop that works perfectly with Mass Effect combat. Iconic Enemy Factions: One of the strengths of ME3 was facing factions like the Reapers, Cerberus, and Collectors. These enemies were terrifying and required specific tactics. We need enemies with that same fear factor and variety, rather than the more generic feeling of the Kett from Andromeda. Diverse Playable Races: The ability to play as Geth, Quarians, Krogans, and even Volus added endless replayability and allowed us to experience the lore firsthand. Keep it Focused: We do not need an open-world multiplayer or a Battle Royale. We just want a polished, modern version of the intense tactical co-op we fell in love with in 2012. The community is still here, still playing, and still passionate. Bringing back this style of multiplayer would not only honor the fans but also ensure the next game has incredible longevity. As the title says, I've been having trouble connecting to Mass Effect Andromeda's online servers and been scouring the internet for solutions. I've deleted files, restarted the EA app, verified the game files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I remember getting it to work at some point by either tweaking, disabling, or deleting some Window licenses it was weird. This was also when I first played it through EA Play. I don't know if buying it through Steam after that caused new issues. I can play Mass Effect 3's Multiplayer just fine so that rules out any internet connection problem, I think.Mass Effect Andromeda will not open
Hi there, I am trying to replay Andromeda that I bought on steam a while ago. I go to steam, click play, and EA pops up, telling me that the game needs to be uninstalled from steam for some reason. I try that, wait and reinstall, and again, just tells me I need to uninstall to play. A third time I tried, the game removes itself from my installed games on EA, yet it is still in steam? And now it will verify but refuses to open. I tried to contact support but the AI put me into a horrible three question loop before I cussed it out and came here. Any help is super appreciated, thank you

Core Concept: Cross-Storyline RPG Featuring Shepard’s Team Members I propose developing a game where players switch between key characters linked to Shepard, but whose stories unfold in different time periods or run parallel to the main storyline. This would allow us to: • deepen the canon without disrupting Shepard’s canonical journey; • showcase familiar events from fresh perspectives; • explore the “blank spots” of the universe (Protheans, geth, Turian politics). Key Storyline Branches • Liara T’Soni • Explore her activities before Mass Effect 1: unraveling Prothean mysteries, confronting shadowy forces threatening the asari. • Highlight her rise to becoming a political leader fighting for galactic unity. • Reveal her connections to the Protheans and “crossover” moments that influence the overarching plot. • Garrus Vakarian • Trace the rise of “Archangel”: from a C-Sec officer on the Citadel to a rebel challenging corruption within the Turian Hierarchy. • Include missions on Palaven to uncover family secrets and internal conflicts within the turian race. • Show how his actions contribute to preparing for the Reaper war. • Legion (geth) • Tell the story of geth resistance against the quarians — exploring ethical dilemmas and the fight for synthetic rights. • Unveil the Prothean legacy embedded in his code, and depict internal conflicts between individual geth and the collective mind. • Offer alternative endings: integration into society or rebellion. Over the past 10 years — since the end of the original Mass Effect trilogy — I’ve watched plenty of videos with concept art and opinions from many players who, like me, are deeply in love with this creation. And I’d like to offer you a great idea — something truly exciting and beneficial. EA is a huge company, and it has excellent potential for developing both established studios and new ones. So why not do the following simultaneously: • Continue the Mass Effect story through a new trilogy, and tie it all together with the Andromeda game? • Go back to the original trilogy and reboot it — more precisely, update the graphics and gameplay? Additionally, add a host of exciting new DLCs that expand the Mass Effect lore. Everything you may have felt didn’t make it into the original — or that you weren’t able to implement for some reason — could be brought to life in a remake of the original trilogy, using a new engine and updated graphics. The key is to avoid drastically changing the original story, but instead enrich it with plenty of new quests, missions, and gameplay features. For example, include an “ordinary day aboard the Normandy” and show us how the crew lives on such a vessel: their day of laundry, shaving, cooking, washing — basically, a typical day for the entire team on board. Add some storylines about relationships among the crew members — in short, spice up the game with something lively and authentic that we haven’t seen before. Plus, you could further expand your vision through new DLCs for the Mass Effect remake. Плюс добавить множество новых крутых DLC, расширяющих лор Mass Effect. Всё то, что, по вашему мнению, не вошло в оригинал и по какой‑то причине не удалось реализовать, можно воплотить в ремейке оригинальной трилогии — с новым движком и графикой. При этом сильно не искажая оригинальную историю, а лишь дополнив её массой новых квестов и миссий, а также геймплейными возможностями. Например, реализовать «обычный день на борту „Нормандии“» и показать нам, как живёт экипаж на таком судне: день их стирки, бритья, готовки, мытья — в общем, обычный день всей команды на борту. Добавить какие‑то сюжетные линии про отношения между членами экипажа — в общем, разбавить игру чем‑то живым и настоящим, чего мы раньше не видели.
