[PC, Windows 10] - Mass Effect (2007) Freezes on main menu after reinstall
See title. I reinstalled Mass Effect after installing a couple of mods caused the game to fail to launch - immediately prior to installing the mods, the game launched and ran fine. Here are the two mods I tried - ME1 Recalibrated, MERLIN. I uninstalled using the EA app, deleted the "Mass Effect" folder in the 'This PC\Documents\BioWare' directory and then reinstalled via the EA app. I did not try to reinstall the mods; the freeze occurs with the vanilla install. The seems to freeze after a very consistent amount of time, less than 10s, after launching and requires the task manager to close. If I let the intro vidoes play, it freezes before "Demiurge Studios" appears and if I spam Esc, it freezes at the transition from the title screen to main menu. Things I've tired Running as admin + XP SP3 compatibility mode Not running as admin + XP SP3 compatibility mode, RUNASINVOKER via registry editor string Installing legacy PhysX system software https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-13-0604-legacy-driver/ Reparing installation via EA app Deleting 'Config' and 'Save' folders in 'This PC\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect' before launching in offline mode Disabling EA app overlay Installing OpenAL Disabling mandatory ASLR in Windows Defender Running 'MassEffectConfig.exe' and trying various video and audio settings before launching Eg. Fullscreen vs windowed, vsync vs no vsync, hardware vs sofware audio Launching after clean booting Nothing I've tried seems to affect how the game freezes. I've attached my system's dxdiag info and the latest log file from the Mass Effect Documents folder. I'm at a loss for what to try next. Any and all help is very appreciated!
Mass Effect Legendary Edition - GeForce NOW
So, for some time now both the EA and Steam versions of the Legendary Edition have been available to play on GeForce NOW, which is awesome! Is there any chance someone on the EA/Bioware team could check the box and have the Epic Game Store version also opted on to be played on GeForce NOW? It would be an awesome addition if possible!Steam/steam deck game won't launch
Started yesterday and I'm guessing some sort of update happened in the background or server connectivity to EA's launcher. I've done just about everything I can do on the steam/steam deck side and I can only guess it's an EA thing. I've rebooted a gazillion times; verified all proton files, game files, tried all different proton versions and nothing has worked. (I haven't tried uninstalling/reinstalling for fear of losing my progress since this relies on EA cloud sync) I get no error messages, game attempts to launch and just dumps be back to desktop (in desktop mode) or the main game page in game mode. Anyone else experience this, or have some more helpful tips/tricks I can try?
Mass Effect 2 import does not work again
Note: this is the original Mass Effect 2, not the Legendary Edition version. So I move the Char file, into all the possible places to ensure that the game can see it. Yet, every time I go into the game, it still says it cannot see it and therefore I cannot import it. Bioware really needs to have a simple description on how to do this manually, instead of having to jump through a ton of hoops just to import a save.Mass Effect Andromeda: Missing Online Access
Hello, a couple days ago I reinstalling Mass Effect Andromeda on my steam account MisterDiego310, to play it again. Since then each time I try to get in the Online Features are disabled with the message: Missing Online Access. I can't Import or Export my character personalization nor can I access the Multiplayer side, and it is very frustrating because 2 years ago I bought and played the game normally, but now this issue is making me reconsider buying EA games if they are going to have this kind of online problems. I followed the troubleshooting guide on the EA Support page, but none of them have worked. I deleted and reinstalled the game, logged off and on and even uninstalled the EA App to check if those things could fix it up but nothing... I also reported and sent a Support description of my problem, I don't know if they attend those things, but I would like to know if there is something else I can do to.
Mass Effect Andromeda "You are not allowed access to online features"
Yes, another one of these. After spending many hours over multiple days discussing this issue with both EA and Steam support I was finally told to just report my issue here. In short, you have probably heard this one before. When I boot up Mass Effect Andromeda it greets me with the error message "You are not allowed to access the online features of this game". After following the steps outlined in this ( [PC] Mass Effect Online Access Error in Multiplayer Mode | EA Forums - 9200656 ) forum post to no avail I contacted the EA support for the first time. Over the course of a few hours with multiple support agents attempting to help the end result was, that their internal system does not recognize me owning the game in the first place. They instructed me to reach out to Steam support since I had bought the game through them and ask for "the specifics of the purchase" (The automatic translation making it quite difficult to actually follow what exactly they were trying to tell me by the way). So I did just that, with the Steam Support getting back to me after two days stating that on their end all is fine, I own the game and it is registered in their system. Great, back to EA support I was sent. I explained my issue for what felt like the 100th time and eventually the support agent figured out that yes, indeed, their system does not recognize any ownership on my account of a product key regarding Mass Effect Andromeda. After telling me that they would help me if they could, they said they would report it to their internal team and sent me here to report my issue once more, hence this post. I have seen multiple posts about this reaching back many years. Some are marked as resolved, others aren't. Lets see my luck
How to set xbox controller in ME3 to run
Hi everyone, I bought Mass Effect Legendary Edition a couple of days ago, and I'm currently playing ME3 (I already played 1 and 2 long time ago) I plugged my old xbox controller to my PC and it seems to be working properly. However, I didn't understand how to set it up for certain "moves" , for example, I don't how to set the button to make Shepard running. Could you please help figure it out? Thanks

Mass Effect 3 productkey (and insanly bad customerservice)
Hello fellow people, As like some other people I also have the productkey problem, however I have tried everything I could find here but it did not work. I contacted costumer service and even with the bad translated stuff suprise suprise they didn't help and send me back to the Forums. So I am sorry for another post about this but for me I still can't start ME3 because of the productkey missing. It is still there however. I also have the thing that it says it cannot connect online eventhough I am online. Maybe important; I have 140+ hours in the game before it broke and bough it around 2012/2013, I think I bought it on Origin, but am not 100 procent sure but otherwise it would have been a disk. Things I've tried; %ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services This didn't work even when I had it show hidden folders, it just cannot find it. I unistalled the game and installed it tried again did not work, same problem. Unistalled EA launcher and Installed it, didn't work same problem. ProgramData>Electronic arts>EA Services>license Tried deleting this, didn't work either. I did uninstall and reinstall the game after because I was bit scared I broke the game. - Cleared the cache, repair game, reinstall Unfourtunatly same problem keeps happening. Revo unistaller Still same problem, i did this in combination with the clear cache and after I had reinstall the game I am kinda at my end, I am not sure how to fix it at this point and getting tired. On top of the fact that customer service was just downright bad and rude. They now blame the makers, but as I said I have played this game for a long time and it had worked just fine. I've seen the same problems online so. Last time I played it before started having problems was I believe around 2020. Anyway have any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance!
Mass Effect Andromeda not launching (PC EA app)
Hello, I have a problem with Mass effect Andromeda not launching from the EA app. I am on PC from the EA app (no steam). When I try to launch the game, it immediately crashes to desktop. From what I have seen from the task manager, ME Andromeda does briefly show but crashes to desktop before even launching and I am back to EA app. I did not have this issue when the launcher was Origin if it helps. Anyone has a solution for this? I have also attached a dxdiag file in case it helps.
Rendering issue
so I recently purchased mass effect and this seems to be a graphics rendering issue. All of the white highlights are red.I do not believe It’s my system as I played this game and have 144 hours and I’ve never had this issue utilizing the Xbox app previously . I’ve sent done away with the Xbox app and have gone directly through EA. Since going directly through, I’ve had nothing but problems with games . I repaired the game as well as uninstalled it and reinstalled it it does not fix the issue. Please help me rectify the situation thank you
Multiplayer account issue
Hello! I got the urge to play the multiplayer on PC even if just solo but when i downloaded the game and selected multiplayer, my profile had lost all progress. How do I get this progress back? I have logged into my N7HQ account and can see my profile but when i click re-sync on the support tab it does not seem to update in game. I'm playing the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2. When I'm in Omega, after talking to the mercenaries and going to the transport location to start Archangel's mission, it gets stuck on the loading screen and corrupts the save data. I already have one save before the error and I'm trying to log in with that one and some new ones. Does anyone know how I can avoid this? I know I can just not go for it and continue playing, but I wanted all my teammates...
