[PC, Windows 10] - Mass Effect (2007) Freezes on main menu after reinstall
See title. I reinstalled Mass Effect after installing a couple of mods caused the game to fail to launch - immediately prior to installing the mods, the game launched and ran fine. Here are the two mods I tried - ME1 Recalibrated, MERLIN. I uninstalled using the EA app, deleted the "Mass Effect" folder in the 'This PC\Documents\BioWare' directory and then reinstalled via the EA app. I did not try to reinstall the mods; the freeze occurs with the vanilla install. The seems to freeze after a very consistent amount of time, less than 10s, after launching and requires the task manager to close. If I let the intro vidoes play, it freezes before "Demiurge Studios" appears and if I spam Esc, it freezes at the transition from the title screen to main menu. Things I've tired Running as admin + XP SP3 compatibility mode Not running as admin + XP SP3 compatibility mode, RUNASINVOKER via registry editor string Installing legacy PhysX system software https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-13-0604-legacy-driver/ Reparing installation via EA app Deleting 'Config' and 'Save' folders in 'This PC\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect' before launching in offline mode Disabling EA app overlay Installing OpenAL Disabling mandatory ASLR in Windows Defender Running 'MassEffectConfig.exe' and trying various video and audio settings before launching Eg. Fullscreen vs windowed, vsync vs no vsync, hardware vs sofware audio Launching after clean booting Nothing I've tried seems to affect how the game freezes. I've attached my system's dxdiag info and the latest log file from the Mass Effect Documents folder. I'm at a loss for what to try next. Any and all help is very appreciated!
Mass Effect Legendary Edition - GeForce NOW
So, for some time now both the EA and Steam versions of the Legendary Edition have been available to play on GeForce NOW, which is awesome! Is there any chance someone on the EA/Bioware team could check the box and have the Epic Game Store version also opted on to be played on GeForce NOW? It would be an awesome addition if possible!
Steam/steam deck game won't launch
Started yesterday and I'm guessing some sort of update happened in the background or server connectivity to EA's launcher. I've done just about everything I can do on the steam/steam deck side and I can only guess it's an EA thing. I've rebooted a gazillion times; verified all proton files, game files, tried all different proton versions and nothing has worked. (I haven't tried uninstalling/reinstalling for fear of losing my progress since this relies on EA cloud sync) I get no error messages, game attempts to launch and just dumps be back to desktop (in desktop mode) or the main game page in game mode. Anyone else experience this, or have some more helpful tips/tricks I can try?

Who still plays? A couple of years ago I thought my days of killing Reapers and Cerberus were long behind me. But there is still a decent number of active players on PC. I got back into the game, and even began recording and uploading gameplay to YouTube. Rendering issue
so I recently purchased mass effect and this seems to be a graphics rendering issue. All of the white highlights are red.I do not believe It’s my system as I played this game and have 144 hours and I’ve never had this issue utilizing the Xbox app previously . I’ve sent done away with the Xbox app and have gone directly through EA. Since going directly through, I’ve had nothing but problems with games . I repaired the game as well as uninstalled it and reinstalled it it does not fix the issue. Please help me rectify the situation thank youMass Effect 2 PS3 error in the Omega transport zone
I'm playing the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2. When I'm in Omega, after talking to the mercenaries and going to the transport location to start Archangel's mission, it gets stuck on the loading screen and corrupts the save data. I already have one save before the error and I'm trying to log in with that one and some new ones. Does anyone know how I can avoid this? I know I can just not go for it and continue playing, but I wanted all my teammates...
Achievement not unlocking
I'm playing MELE on PC. Trying to unlock all achievements. The Incineration specialist achievement is marked as 25/25 in game, but is not marked as complete. I play as Infiltrator, so I use incineration a lot. I've even placed squad mates in cover away from battle to make sure they don't interfere with me burning enemy armor. I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and restarting my computer, but there has been no changes to the achievement progress. What can I do to unlock this broken achievement?EA Launcher not starting ME LE
I played 2 days ago, the ME series is my preferred game and I finished 1-3 over 25 times. My fiber provider had a tech yesterday and I tried to start a offline session... what didn't work. Connection is back but the EA Launcher just stands on: Launching Game.. now for about 1 hour. I did a repair.. Repair successful.. but nothing makes the game start again. This App is just a hassle and EA is off my list to ever buy a game again. If you can't run a working Launcher for your own games, you suck! I honestly had enough with this crap app, is not the first time it refuses to start a game i bought. Worst app ever.. and I got my first PC with 15 (VC20).. now 56 years old.Mass Effect 5 ?
The Mass Effect series is by far the best best gaming experience I've ever had and I'm an old dude from way back to the Atari Pong days. I haven't always gamed, had to raise a family. Now I'm older, everyone is grown and gone and I got bored. So, I bought an Xbox Series S. Played a lot of games and then found the Mass Effect series. No other of the thousands of games I've played even compare to this, being able to make discussion choices that change the outcome of the game, the graphics, the storyline, romances, variable endings, it is like living in the moment, in a movie, being part of the game and story. This is awesome. Don't make us wait too long for Mass Effect 5 or whatever you will name it. With the creation of AI you could develop the most interactive and realistic game imaginable, I'm getting old fast, retirement is right around the corner. Do this old man with nothing else to do a favor, get on with creating the newest Mass Effect, keep this series and legacy going for generations to come, in other words, hurry the heck up young folk, I ain't got all day 😁. I need another interactive adventure before my time runs out or I start to lose my faculties. Today's TV shows and Movies suck. I need a gaming experience I can feel a part of. Hello, first time posting here. When trying to access the Career tab on the website I'm recieving an error message reading: "Oops, an error occured. Please refresh the page and retry." Refreshing the page does not fix anything, in fact the same error occurs when pressing the Sync Career button. This error persists even when trying to use the page on another device. Also this has been an issue since last December at the very least.How to get live chat support?
Hello all, My profile was banned after 2 days of owning Mass Effect Andromeda. I appealed and was then told the ban would remain, I was then allowed to re-appeal and it now shows the status of waiting on studio. It ruined the time I booked off work to play the game, it ruined the new Xbox profile I started when I got the Series X two months ago. Because they don't/won't explain exactly why they ban you, I've been looking around the net and on this forum and different things seem to crop up. 1: Possible that a player you played alongside in online mode has reported you falsely. 2: The AI bots EA use are banning new accounts. 3: EA put the wrong version on Andromeda on the Series X. Rather than it being the standard edition, they give you access to the deluxe edition and this is causing problems. 4: The merge of EA Play and some old EA app is causing the issue. I could continue playing the single player, but it still means my account would be banned and prevent me from further EA games access, which was the whole reason I bought the Series X in the first place, so that I could play all those incredible backwards compatible games from BioWare, EA and the Dead Space franchise. I spoke with N7Shepard on here who took the time to look into it for me (thank you once again), but the community managers on here can only do so much when it comes to account access. I cannot for the life of me find a way to chat/live chat with an actual human operator though to see if I can clear this up and get back to enjoying the Mass Effect Andromeda game. Another issue this has caused is due to the fact I cannot unlock strike team achievements. I truly enjoy having all my favourite games at 100% completion, but this has ruined the entire experience for me at the moment. Wasted days holiday, normal days off work etc. And for extra icing they issued this on my birthday. Cheers EA :D........... :( That was long winded. You can tell I'm older haha. I absolutely love all the mass effect games. I love how you can make decisions that change the outcome of the game. I love the flow of the game. How cool would it be to make a full G.I. Joe series designed exactly the same way the Mass Effect gameplay is. The choices you make change the outcome or you can unlock different cobra or Gil Joe characters you can play from either Gi joe or Cobra in fully emerged 360 degree worlds, and bases that would be cool.
