Mass Effect (2007) says I don't own the game, even though it's in my library
Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with Mass Effect (2007) in the EA app. I purchased the game through Origin around 13 years ago, and I've owned it ever since. As you can see in the screenshot, the EA app recognizes that I own the Standard Edition, and it even shows my playtime (147 hours and 57 minutes). When I launch the game the game I get the following error: "You don't have access. We've cancelled the download because you don't own this game. To play, go to the Game Hub to get the game." This doesn't make any sense to me because the game is in my library as "owned" I've tried: Restarting the EA app Logging out and back in Clearing the EA app cache Running the app as Administrator I've also tried to open a ticket from help.ea.com to no avail. I've waited for hours for their live chat agent to connect but nobody ever comes to talk to me. I've tried to search for people with similar problem but haven't found anything. Mass Effect 3 multiplayer not accessible
I own the game since 2012 but I could not access the multiplayer anymore. It tells me to redeem online pass. The multiplayer was actuallty unavailable for me since last year. Thus, I dropped the game since then, but recently I got my new PC and I do the fresh install of the game but the problem is still there. I have already tried repairing game, deleting the temp file and Lincense folder of EA app, I also even tried fresh installing the game and EA app on other PCs (more than two PCs) but it didn't help. I attached the screenshot of another post. The poster might have the similar problem with mine, and he got it fixed under your help. Not registering XboxOne controller on PC
I recently downloaded the EA desktop app so I could download and play Mass Effect 3 online as I knew it was in my EA account. However, upon booting the game up there is absolutely no recognition that my controller is plugged in. It is registering on my devices, and other games in Steam are working with it. But not this. Unable to launch Mass Effect 3
I've owned this game forever and used Origin to launch it. I just decided to play it again. I know EA killed the Origin launcher, so I installed the EA App. The game shows up there and is listed as Mass Effect Standard. However, when I click play the launcher tries to launch Mass Effect N7 Digital Deluxe and says it can't find my license code. That's because I'm don't own that version and am trying to launch the standard version. When I click on properties, the license code for the edition i own shows up. ME3 Multiplayer: Progress/Profile Transfer?
I played the multiplayer way back when it was first released on the Xbox 360 and hoped to jump in again on PC/Steam for old times' sake. However, I've found that while the old Xbox Live Gamertag I had and Origin/PC profiles are on the same account, they are separate from each other. ME3 Multiplayer progress lost/merged with secondary account?
Ok, so this is going to be a bit weird. I have two accounts, this one and a secondary one. I've used this account for a long time, playing a lot on both xbox 360 and on PC, unlocking everything on both. I have also renamed this account some time last year. I have a secondary account I made to play with a friend. It's name and email used is different from this one. I have been playing on that one. I recently logged out to switch over to this one to play with everything unlocked again. I log into N7 HQ with this account and I see all the progress and unlocks there. I log into the EA app with this account and I see all my games and the hours. I go log into ME3 multiplayer, and the progress matches what the second account has? The name in the lobby is correct, but all the unlocks is just what the second account has. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but that didn't change anything. Mass Effect Andromeda: Missing Online Access
Hi, i got Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe Edition from Steam but when i open the game or try to connect i got the error "Missing Online Access" I can't contact support, the bot deflects me every time, i always end up on "self service" no matter what i do. Are the servers still online? * i have already tried restarting the app to clear the cache (help - restart) * Created Firewall rules * Turned off Windows Firewall * Checked DNS and they are working fine, i use OpenDNS and Google DNS as primary and secondary DNS servers. The EA App is connected just fine, no problem with anything else but the game, all other gamers, plataforms, software etc works as expected, problem is isolated to ME: Andromeda. A critical bug has prevented me from continuing the game
（ME LEGENDARY ME3）While completing the Omega mission, after disarming the bomb, I was supposed to proceed to the “Afterlife.” However, while descending a flight of stairs en route, the game completely froze and reverted to the launcher screen. When I reloaded the save to the exact same location and attempted to walk down the stairs again, the game froze once more. Please help me—this bug has rendered my game completely unplayable. Another issue is that whenever I enter a new mission or new scene, my skill points get reset, and I have to reassign them. These problems are all demonstrated in my video. Internal Error When Launching Game
I think, I did a mistake. @ Steam, the deluxe edition of Mass Effect 3 including all DLCs is at a discount, so I bought it there. Now, nothingt happens, I cannot start the base game, what was possible for me, before I bought it on Steam. [PC, Windows 10] - Mass Effect (2007) Freezes on main menu after reinstall
See title. I reinstalled Mass Effect after installing a couple of mods caused the game to fail to launch - immediately prior to installing the mods, the game launched and ran fine. Here are the two mods I tried - ME1 Recalibrated, MERLIN. I uninstalled using the EA app, deleted the "Mass Effect" folder in the 'This PC\Documents\BioWare' directory and then reinstalled via the EA app. I did not try to reinstall the mods; the freeze occurs with the vanilla install. The seems to freeze after a very consistent amount of time, less than 10s, after launching and requires the task manager to close. If I let the intro vidoes play, it freezes before "Demiurge Studios" appears and if I spam Esc, it freezes at the transition from the title screen to main menu. Things I've tired Running as admin + XP SP3 compatibility mode Not running as admin + XP SP3 compatibility mode, RUNASINVOKER via registry editor string Installing legacy PhysX system software https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-13-0604-legacy-driver/ Reparing installation via EA app Deleting 'Config' and 'Save' folders in 'This PC\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect' before launching in offline mode Disabling EA app overlay Installing OpenAL Disabling mandatory ASLR in Windows Defender Running 'MassEffectConfig.exe' and trying various video and audio settings before launching Eg. Fullscreen vs windowed, vsync vs no vsync, hardware vs sofware audio Launching after clean booting Nothing I've tried seems to affect how the game freezes. I've attached my system's dxdiag info and the latest log file from the Mass Effect Documents folder. I'm at a loss for what to try next.
