Game Crashing - PS5
I downloaded yesterday as NFS Unbound is one of this months free games on the PS Store for PS5. The game crashed on the thrd race. Not a great start... I switched back to Wreckfest for the evening. I will give it another go tonight. I'm glad that after reading on here that you can disable to silly cartoon smoke effets your car gives out. When I first saw those, I thought I wouldn't be able to play the game, they were that annoying.
Dedicated GPU Not Used When Launching Need for Speed Unbound
Need for Speed Unbound always runs on the integrated AMD Radeon Graphics instead of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU on my laptop. I am using a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3-15ACH6 (Type 82K2) with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU and NVIDIA Optimus (hybrid graphics), with no MUX switch or “discrete GPU only” mode available. The game was purchased and launched through the Epic Games Launcher. Even after setting the game to use the high-performance GPU in Windows and NVIDIA Control Panel, it continues to use the integrated GPU. GPU monitoring shows little or no usage on the RTX 3050 Ti while the integrated GPU is active. Other games on the same system correctly use the RTX 3050 Ti, so the GPU and drivers (NVIDIA driver 591.59) are working properly. This makes the issue appear to be specific to Need for Speed Unbound.Game save file missing and game is not playable even if i try to start fresh
i have switched my device and re downloaded the nfs unbound. for some reason it automatically starts as a fresh account. I didnt care that much still went inside the game. After that, i tried to go for the story mode. i can choose a character and start up junk car. After picking those things, loading started. But the loading never finish. I waited like an hour and didnt finish the load. Then i closed the game and restarted. I went straight to the online mode. it also shows new character choosing screen and i was confused. After choosing a character and car, game just froze in a white screen. On the attachment, it clearly shows that my previous data have still exist. Game is running but nothing shows up. Did anyone face this issue? If there is a way to fix, please let me know. I really want to play this game. Thanks for reading this.
NFS UNBOUND "Purchase Failed"
I recently bought the Ultimate Collection upgrade for Need For Speed Unbound, and it has come through as purchased, but whenever I try to buy anything in the game, it doesn't allow me to and comes up with "Purchase Failed" with no error code. I have tried reinstalling it on Steam, and it does the same thing. Adding to this, Unbound also doesn't allow me to play Online, it comes up with the error code DR1001. Please help me with this, I have looked at other forums posted by other users, and nothing seems to work. Thanks in advance.
NFS Unbound: Story Mode's Day/Night Cycle Is Stuck
Greetings. I've been having an issue with Need For Speed Unbound for a while now. In story mode, I'm stuck at the night cycle. Whenever I'm done with a session, the time of day won't change. I can still make money and the events will still rotate but, there isn't as many as the game should show. Need For Speed (as a whole) means a lot to me and I would love to get this issue fixed. & out.
Rydell Delivery Job 'God Mode' never triggers
Hello, I love Unbound and I've replayed it numerous times, I really enjoy single player and the story progression. So I'll frequently delete my save game and start over from scratch. However there is a bug I am encountering every single time, but it did not happen on my first playthrough. During Week 4 on Friday, the Rydell Delivery Mission 'God Mode' never triggers, so it becomes impossible to unlock the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 in single player/story mode. After the Lakeshore Grand Final, all delivery missions will be replayable on their respective days. Except this one, this is the only delivery mission I can never get to trigger during any of my playthroughs (except my very first one). I've tried to reinstall the game before starting a fresh playthrough but it still happens, it's the only real bug I'm encountering. So there's no way to unlock this Porsche in single player, as Rydell will never offer the mission. All other delivery missions from Rydell and Tess/Yaz are working as normal. This is happening on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, not sure about other platforms.
Controller just keeps cutting out
So I picked NFS Unbound up at release and had this same issue back then as well, which made me quit playing at that time. Now 3 years later I try picking it up again, and of course the same issue is still here. Since those 3 years I've had a new PC, new controllers, new windows install, and still the same issue persists... Doesn't matter where I am in the game the controller suddenly cuts out randomly. I've tried just about everything I could find online trying to fix this issue for NFS Unbound, but nothing is working. The strange thing is though, this issue only happens in NFS Unbound. Not a single other game or racing game I've tried has this issue, including previous NFS titles such as Heat, NFS '15, and Hot Pursuit. It's ONLY Unbound that has the issue. So is there a fix I can still try to do, one that's not currently already posted on the internet? I'm pretty sure I've already tried every possible fix I can think of and found online, including getting a whole new PC with fresh windows install. It can only be an issue with the game itself at this point, I think.

[UPDATE] Spoke to another 2 reps via the web chat just moments ago. Told me the same crap 2 days ago about "passing it on to the relevant team", and whilst I was exclaiming that that wasn't good enough and I wanted to know the name of the department who would be working on it the chat was suddenly closed. Case remains with status: No fix available. EA are happy with just shutting out one of their players and say, oh well. ------------------------------------------------------- I play on Xbox Cloud and I've had the issues shown in the video attached for a week. No access to bought dlc, not being able to update character, and kicked to the main menu when I try and enter any game. All the solutions I've found are for Consoles and PC, not for Xbox Cloud Gaming. I went to EA and after 5 days I finally spoke to a person, well 3 persons on a web chat, but the third guy told me that they'll pass it on to their dev team, but CANNOT guarantee that the problem will ever be fixed, will not be contacting me about the issue again, and closed my case without giving any solution. Basically, at one point, telling me that I can't play my favourite game again without buying a console even though the game remains on Xbox Cloud, is advertised to play on it and I have used it without fault for 2 years. No offer of compensation or even an apology that a game I love is now broken on my chosen (the one I can afford because I'm poor) platform. This ain't right. I've reported the issue to Xbox but to silence and indifference, much like how they are acting with their achievements breaking. No one is getting back to me at all. No one seems to care. So this is the last place I can go for some solutions. Firstly, does anyone else play via Xbox Cloud gaming, and if you do have you faced this? Can anyone offer me any advice or solace? I love this game, play it almost everyday. Losing this, and not being able to unlock ANY achievements on Assassins creed ezio collection have made me rethink being an Xbox customer after 18 years, and be disgusted by EA customer "support" for providing none. WHAT I HAVE ALREADY TRIED: Taking out my ethernet cable and plugging back in whilst in the game main menu but before going online. Taking out my ethernet cable and plugging back in whilst the game is loading online files. Taking out my ethernet cable and plugging it back in whilst it attempts to add me to free roam, lock down and PVP. (Via Xbox Cloud Browser) deleting reserve memory space and resyncing game saves with the Xbox network. And as said in the above memoir, "My life as a poor Xbox user: Cry of the forgotten proletariat - All I Wanna Do is Skrt Skrt Skrt", I contacted EA and was told to go plopp myself.
NFS UNBOUND BUG
Fehlende Belohnungen (Titel/Banner) in Need for Speed Unbound Online (Racers League) Speedy senpai for example I defeated all 12 racers and didn't got my title for the banner. Also a problem is that the game doesn't even show me the title (that's the bug) I buyed ofc the ultimate collection etc. So my problem is that serveal titles are missing on my account ones I unlocked and some that I didn't unlock yet are missing the bug is the game doesn't show me the (missing) titles. So; Subject: Bug: Missing Title "Speedy Senpai" in Need for Speed Unbound (PlayStation 5) Dear Sir or Madam, I have completed all 12 Outrun Rivals (or all comparable Open-World challenges) in Need for Speed Unbound on the PlayStation 5. However, I am missing the title "Speedy Senpai", which should be displayed as a reward for this completion but has not been unlocked. This error is preventing me from achieving 100% completion. So after multiple attempts, I beat Rudiger's challenge or whatever as part of the Racers League. However, even though I beat him fair and square, the game still says I need to find him on the map and challenge him. Did I do something wrong? Is there some secret parameter I didn't meet? Has anyone else ran into this issue? Whatever the answer is, I am at my wit's end and I need your help. Thank you very much for your time, and I hope to hear from you very soon.
Drift Pro Tire bug
Some friends of mine and myself are trying to get our own cars to work in drift events with the discription "drift pro tires needed" and cant get it to work.. any fixes we found online do nothing and none of us can use our cars even with equipped "pro drift tires".. Is there any official statement or potential bug fix??Connection problem
Hello guys. I am playing Need for Speed no limits for 3 years now and I have my profile that is 123 level with 43 cars in my garage. Few days ago I bought an iphone 13 pro max and I wanted to play from there. I created my apple ID and my game center to the same google account that I had my nfs account. Suddenly the game started from stage 1. I was really confused so I tried numerous times to log in with my real account. But it just starts from the start over and over again. I still have the profile on my old phone so I know it's there but for some reason NFS denies my entry from my new phone. It doesn't even show that there is a profile there. How can I fix this issue?NFS Unbound Constant Crashing Despite Trying Many Solutions (Steam)
Hello, I got Unbound on the recent sale and while the game isn't totally unplayable, I can't go more than an hour without the game crashing. Often, it crashes sooner. The game seems more sensitive to crashing when I'm running Firefox in the background, which is frustrating because I like to listen to videos while I play. The crashes are usually just close to desktop with no error message. They happen most often when loading between two areas (e.g., before starting a race) or alt-tabbing in and out of the game. I don't experience crashes on any other NFS game. I've looked around on various forums and videos for solutions and have tried many, but nothing seems to work consistently. I'm open to any alternative suggestions. Here is a list of the things I have already tried doing: - Updating windows - Updating GPU drivers (most recent NVIDIA studio driver) - Reinstalling the game - Verifying game files - Clearing game cache and shader cache - Clearing EA app cache - Locking the game to 60 FPS - Setting the game to borderless - Disabling DLSS - Disabling Steam overlay - Disabling as many background tasks as I can - Running the game in administrator mode - Setting the game to default high performance mode on Windows Finally, my PC exceeds the system requirements for the game--GPU is a 4070ti and CPU is a 7600X.
PS5 - Acceleration issue only on Events when using Logitech G29
Just as the title states. I just got this game and love to drive around on free roam. Everything is fine apart from the clutch pedal being useless with the shifter (another issue but different). However any time I join one of the events (just started single player story mode) , the car seems to want to accelerate but not, all at the same time. You cant increase the speed when pressing accelerator pedal, in events its stuck revving itself even when not pressing pedal. But its fine when not doing events??? Please help.Low fps can get over 60 on any setting
It defaults to ultra and cant get above 60, small freezes/stutters 3060 12gb vram , 32gb ram, 15 10600k ive set settings to low + dlss balanced but i only get to about 45 - 58 fps ive done the github fix for it and it solved high cpu usage i got not clue what to do last time i played was about 2 years ago and it ran perfectly don't know what happened.bug where the speed of the car is limited and you can't move forward or reverse
The speed of the car is limited even when the accelerator is pressed, so the car hardly goes forward and does not reverse. Of course, I checked whether it was manual or automatic, and even though it was automatic, the car did not go forward due to speed limit. And I checked the key setting, but there is no problem. All car types have problems.
