Hamilton Hammers missing key players
Hey - maybe there was a mix-up with players, as I know the Hamilton Hammers roster was finalized late - along with the New York Islanders - since some players were not sure where they would end up. Some notable players are missing and are not on either team in HUT: Cole Eiserman Kashawn Aitcheson Can we get them added in? They are the best players on the Hamilton Hammers, and will likely also get time with the Islanders this year.
Simple question series
1) Why is it that players I control get their stick caught up on other players, having to contort themselves in broken animations to get the stick free, and yet computer player sticks (almost always) warp through my players and can instantly interact with the puck? Don't ask for a video, just play any mode vs the cpu for two minutes.

The issue accumulated through normal HUT play rather than a specific flow and could persist until the client was restarted. Missing names pronounce by commentator and analyst in NHL27
Hello programmers and management team, I would like to mention this . Pleas add a name pronunciation preview button in Create/Edit Player, like MLB The Show has. In The Show, you can hear how the commentators will say a player's name right when you type it. NHL needs this too — players could check if their created player's name is in the audio database instead of discovering in-game that the commentary team goes silent on it. » There is some names that the commentator and analyst are not pronounced in the games Even if the names are in the audio database, like as an example like Beaudin, Godin, Beauchamp, Castillo and Lacoste as example. CAN you add those names that was already working in NHL25 and NHL26, they were working fine ThanksBanner in CHEL
I recently started playing CHEL and learned from more experienced players that the Ukrainian banner (flag) is missing from the game. Is that actually true? And if so, why? The Ukrainian jersey is available, and there is even a Ukrainian goalie mask. The Ukrainian national team is playing in the top division of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship this year. So where is the Ukrainian banner? I am Ukrainian, I bought the game, and I want to be able to display my own flag, just as players from all other countries can display theirs. EA_Aljo can you please ask the team to fix the bug where all the goalie equipment defaults to generic colors after pre-season. You have to go and edit every goalie to get their individual equipment to show up. Also can they add the iPad masks back into the game? They are in the Aug 6th roster but then disappeared after that. There isn’t to much authenticity in equipment and these at least help a little bit. Thanks.Fighting in WOC 3v3
In NHL 27’s 3v3 World of CHEL, fighting could inject intensity and excitement into the competitive environment. It adds a level of strategy and camaraderie if both sides agree to go at it, turning it into a sporting and competitive affair. This controlled approach makes the game fair because both parties agree to the altercation and allows players to express their emotions without interrupting the flow of the match. Following the fight, the game continues. No penalties, just the continuance of the match. As long as both players must initiate a fight, there can really be no advantages or disadvantages. Players should only be allowed to fight during the whistle or off of the faceoff.Save slots for custom playbooks?
One of the most maddening features of NHL 27 is the inability to save custom playbooks for online versus mode. If you make any changes to the BALANCED playbook, the settings revert to their defaults when you either start a new online match or restart the entire game on your console. This is a regression from previous versions, where I could customize the play style for any given team. It would still reset on a roster update, but that's better than resetting every game like it does now. Can EA give users a few custom playbook save slots, similarly to how Call of Duty does this for weapons loadouts? These would save with your profile and never reset. I'll even take one save slot at this point! Adjusting these sliders every game or session is really annoying. EA_Aljo , maybe you can take this to the devs? Hi everyone! I contacted EA Support to ask why the Ukrainian flag banner is missing from NHL 27 CHEL. I was told that it is currently not available in the game, and the support team recommended that I create a topic on this forum to bring the issue to the developers’ attention. The Ukrainian national team is competing at the highest level of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, and Ukrainian jerseys and goalie masks are already available in the game. However, the Ukrainian flag banner appears to be missing. I would really appreciate it if the developers could consider adding the Ukrainian flag banner in a future update. It would be meaningful for Ukrainian players and the Ukrainian hockey community to be able to represent their country properly in CHEL. Please support this request and help make the Ukrainian flag banner available in a future update! 🇺🇦 Thank you!
Drafter player ideas, retied players, scouting, ect
I'm not sure if this is the right thread, if not just merge it to the right spot. So, I got a few ideas for drafting players. I think some players potentials should change after drafting them depending on how they perform in their undrafted teams, if they play lights out and have an AHL top 6 potential and beat out the projected 1st overall who is supposed to be NHL ready with elite potential then why do they have AHL top 6 potential when they are clearly better at least at that point of time? it should change accordingly For some reason in year 1 of the draft players with Bottom 6/7th D/backup potential are either left undrafted or very late in the 7th road yet a player with low 60 overall or even high 50's get drafted in the 3rd round. This makes zero sense, Scouting agencies don't just report back on how good a player currently is but where he is projected to be at the peak of his career and get drafted accordingly, at no point will a player projected to be in the NHL will get drafted after someone who isn't even projected to make it to the NHL let alone not get drafted at all, this is very prevalent with backup goalies who are 19 or 20 in the draft. Also, Goalies (after the first year) who don't play any games technically can't be scouted and even with high potential should be either left undrafted or go late in the 7th NPC teams are drafting once again will draft the next guy in the list, they aren't drafting players who they need same as signing FA's they'll have 20 C and only have a handful of wingers and if they have a good amount of wingers its more one side then the other, I've also noticed the more season roll on the more likely teams will go into the next season with 2 goalies, which generally means auto sign fill will give them a bad goalie as their 3rd string. Speaking of goalies newly generated goalies will be hard stuck with the Ducks helmet on not that of their team and it won't auto change when trading or bringing them up to the NHL or sending them back down, it needs to be manually edited for that to happen (this was an issue last year as well) Lastly, we should be able to have settings for drafting regions, such as how often are their players drafted in this region, how good they'll be, likelihood of gems or studs, number of goalies available any given draft. I don't understand esp with the 3 CHL teams after year 3 there is only usually like 10 goalies available. what they all sharing goalies or something? We should also be able to add teams (from created teams) into ROW, Russia and USA respectively Retired players should have an option to be in the NHL\AHL pro scouts of that of their national country, so when say Ovechkin retires, he should be able to scout Russia with A scouting. Goalies who retire should be able to become goalie coaches, I don't get why they don't heck they never become any coach at all, just scouting and they become scouts they aren't even efficient in scouting goalies they're usually a C for it We should be able to ask as well, as they retire if they'd like to be a coach or a scout, like do one last meeting with them. just after the cup has been won a little message shows up saying which players on your team are retiring and from there you can do a meeting and asking them if they'd like to coach or be a scout, depending on how happy they are with management will depend on their answer, if their happiness with management is low, they'll decline and vice versa if its high
Can we please get player faces instead of silhouettes?
EA_Aljo is there a reason you can provide from the devs that explains why every EA game has faces for players that are generated in later years, but we still have nothing. If they are using generative AI for commentary then could they at least could give us generated faces.
Franchise Mode – Resetting Games Bug / Game Freezes
Whenever I try to overwrite or reset game results as the league commissioner in Franchise Mode, the first 2–3 games reset normally. However, when I try to reset more games, the game freezes and the loading spinner in the top-right corner keeps spinning indefinitely. I even tried waiting for 45 minutes, but the game never recovered. I have to restart the game and start all over again, only for the exact same thing to happen repeatedly. Why isn’t there an option to reset an entire series of games at once? One of our league members left and was replaced by another player, so I need to reset approximately 30 games. With this bug, a task that should take a few minutes could take me two weeks to complete. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE! League commissioners need a reliable way to reset multiple games without the game freezing.Ea hut online is brutal
EA seriously I miss competition. You guys are unreal. What is the point of playing online when your opponent is completely 100% invincible there is no touching them lifting stick. It’s disaster and your packs are horrible so play season to get 75+ ranking players and this is why I haven’t played in a few years because there is no improvement, I can broadcast this on YouTube and show there is no point of playing online. Your servers are brutally bad and not once can I have a good game not one good game, especially when my opponent can take one player and dangle around an entire team five times and not get tired like seriously fix your **bleep** game
