Fix this garbage change to object placement
Fix this ASAP: when someone deletes their object that’s touching mine, it deletes all of my custom objects too. This is a terrible change. This didn’t happen in Season 01. We’re trying to build and use objects together, and this just ruins everything every time. Did you actually change this on purpose. Have you known about it since Season 02 and just left it like this. Or is this just straight up trolling players.This game is awesome but definitely lacking in transition.
Anybody else feel like this game could heavily improve on the transition skating ? Maybe like hit up on the D pad or L3 or R3 when your on or approaching a half pipe or a mini ramp and the you could switch to a whole new bag of tricks and style? Smooth grinds, and slides on coping as well as stalls. Especially when you drop back into the transition on a ramp. It’s clunky and not very enjoyable rn. Might be kind of tricky but it would bring a whole group of new players and old players back into the game and it’d be fun as hell.Brawling matches
I want to hit things with my board and punch pedestrians. Can we get some security with tasers please? It’ll add more of a challenge while adding a realistic feel to the culture of skateboarding. P.S: Blood and bruises. I want to see road rash and feel the stones on my skin. (Realism) P.S.S: Could we have a small chance that a high fall could result in snapping the board and bailing? (Optional) Player brawling matches would be lit.🥊TY for bringing back popless double grinds!
I literally just learned they existed, and then I was excited to try, to find out they’re busted rn… BUT U GUYS ARE GONNA BRING EM BACK?! :D Brilliant idea and excellent decision because that extra layer of grinding is chefs kiss. Eagerly awaiting the next patch!
Skate. Feedback/Features/QOL changes i would like too see in game
Npc in a uniform manning the hot dog carts/stands and Npcs waiting in line at them only like one or two obviously wouldn't want them too be blocking or messing with the players flow lol and maybe have some dialog aswell about them taking there order lol 😆 obviously add this when the game is in a good place not really a add now type of feature but maybe in the future lol ... Another thing that would be cool is if you made the water in game look better because at the moment it looks bland and dull also there's not really any big waves or medium or little waves hitting the breakwall/ seawall on the coastline & the beach area's aswell ... that are in the game which i would like too see because it would just add more life too the world also the water color could look better and the sea water could just be more choppy overall. That's all I've got for today folks lol please consider these features lol it would be dope goodbye and ty for reading...
[PC Bug] White Screen + System Freeze on Launch (RTX 5090/9950X3D)
Description Launching skate through Steam normally causes the game to enter exclusive fullscreen, display a solid white screen, and completely freeze the entire PC. I am forced to hard power off the PC to recover. - Screen turns solid white - Keyboard, mouse, and controller become unresponsive - System must be hard powered off to recover Workaround (only reliable method) Press Play in Steam, then immediately switch to another application. Keep that application focused while the game loads in the background. Switch back to skate. once it has fully loaded. Additional Issue When using the workaround above, some in-game settings do not save correctly and have to be reapplied every launch. Troubleshooting Already Tried Verified integrity of game files (multiple times) GPU drivers fully updated Windows fully updated No overlays or background monitoring tools active during testing System specs GPU: RTX 5090 (latest Game Ready drivers) CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X3D RAM: 64 GB @ 6400 MT/s Storage: 2 TB Gen5 NVMe SSD OS: Windows 11 Pro (latest version) GPU drivers: Latest NVIDIA drivers Display: Alienware 4K 240Hz OLED monitorJust add more body types...
Even if the character modeling in this game aims a bit towards the unisex zone, it still feels very restricting when having to choose a body type. Essentially, there are four body types that cater more to the female body and four to the male, and it's just not enough. It makes it less enjoyable to skate in an avatar that you don't feel represented in. Adding at least four more body types, for each the "female" and "male" version, would be a great start. I'd specially like seeing more buff/athletic body types that cater to the female body; ones that aren't skinny by default, with broad shoulders, and with clearly visible abs.
Feedback on Translations (German & Others)
I've recently switched the game language to German just to see how things were translated — and I noticed that some of the localization in skate. (especially German, but also a few Spanish examples others mentioned) doesn’t always feel organic or natural. There are also a couple of minor mistakes. The translations technically work, but the tone or meaning sometimes shifts, and the phrasing can feel a bit... stiff. Example from my own profile English (original): “No trick in mind” German (current in-game): „Hat kein Lieblingstrick“ (has no favorite trick) German (more natural alternative): „Hab keinen Trick im Kopf“ „Keinen Trick parat“ „Gerade nix Konkretes“ These options match the casual, spontaneous tone much better — more like how people actually talk, and definitely more in line with skate culture. One example that caused real confusion: Manuals being labeled as grinds. This is a simple mistake, but it changes the meaning completely. Why this matters Not a huge issue overall, but smoother, more natural translations would make the game feel a lot more polished for international players. It helps preserve the style, attitude, and clarity of the original text.
Boneless/Plant Grab Holding Idea
When popping a boneless or plant if the button is held after the pop it should perform the corresponding one footed grab without putting feet back on the board for better looking animations. Would be nice to allow seamless transition from boneless/plant to one foot grab.Can't finish mission due to a glitch and my hedgemont box level is reset.
In the "Skater Eyes" tour, I am on the 9/10th mission, "Activate or Use a Fast Travel Point." I can't unlock an FTP and I have no FTP points, which the game won't let me get. I am softlocked at this point, and on top of this my mysterbox levels have been reset for the Hedgemont group. If you don't know what I'm talking about its the boxes at the bottom of the shop. I have 3,530 rip chips that I can't spend and I have 8/10 items unlocked in the first box, which is now locked all of a sudden. Can anyone help me???Tour 3 Bug
In the tour 3, i got a bug where i can't complete ir because of the last mision, where i can't make the last task, that is about do everything in a sequence. Even though I follow the task exactly as it says, it never shows as completed. I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but nothing has worked. I haven’t seen anyone else with this bug, but I’d like a solution or to know how to contact the EA support.Ambient, Playlist, and Gesture audio need separate volume controls
Split the audio already. One slider for everything is dumb. ・My playlist ・Gesture music ・Ambient/world music The ambient tracks are the worst. If I stay in one spot, it just blasts the same loud, shouty garbage or songs I don’t even like on repeat. It’s straight up annoying. And the playlist is already bugged and plays random songs instead of mine, so this just makes it worse. If I mute the main volume to shut it up, then every time I use gestures with other players I have to turn it back on again. That’s a pain in the **bleep**.
