I changed my email address because Google thought, it wasn't real, because it was a combination of numbers and letters. It even blocked me once. I changed it since then, but I can't log in to my swtor account. I know my username and password, but no matter how much it sends me a verification code, I can't get it. That could be the problem. SWTOR: KotFE - Chapter X Overwatch East Approach Map will not update
This bug prevents exploration of Zakul from being completable, and have now reset & replayed this chapter a total of 5 times without being able to resolve a workaround. I have already completed the explansion in Story Mode once on a different character without being able to complete exploration of Zakul & the bug has reappeared in my Veteran Mode run through, I had not previously skipped anything on either the prior or this character "Xanixa" (Facesmasher Legacy) on the Darth Malgus server. I have tried all of the following suggestions and I still cannot get the map for this area to update. The "Chapter I" Trick: The most reliable community fix involves starting Chapter I (The Hunt) of Knights of the Fallen Empire. Launch Chapter I and play through the initial intro scene until the tutorial alert pops up. Once that appears, you can safely exit the chapter and return to Chapter X; the Overwatch map should then update correctly. Reset the Phase: If you are currently inside the instance, leave the area. Right-click your character portrait, select Additional Commands > Phase > Reset Phase. This may clear the trigger error preventing the map update. Refresh the Map UI: Sometimes the map is actually explored but the visual UI is stuck. Try repeatedly opening and closing the large map (default key M) after entering the area to force a refresh. Check Mission Log Redundancy: Check if you have both Chapter X and Chapter XI active in your mission log simultaneously. This is a known symptom of the bug; if so, you may need to reset the Chapter X mission entirely from your log to fix the progression triggers. So i bought the 60 day subscription for $29.98 via paypal and when it said processing payment, the next screen showed error code 10048. My email said the purchase went through and the payment is pending, but when i checked my SWTOR account it said I'm still a preferred player (my gametime ran out today). Usually when I buy a sub, it's automatically added immediately after purchasing, so not sure why the payment didn't work. I decided to make another payment and still said the same thing. My email is saying it went through but I didnt get a notification on my phone saying any payment went through. I live in the States. I have a friend in Germany. Steam no longer will accept me buying games or add ons from their site to send anything from my Steam account other than a (Steam Gift Card) to his. Not so long I could do this, but not now. If I wanted to purchase Cartel Points and send this to him I could with no problems. Now Steam says it's a Regional thing. From what I have found, it's that Paypal and Visa and Mastercard are blocking these payments. There is this Help Center articles specifically for the security key. (for attaching and removing the key ). On June 2015 SWTOR upgraded their back-end server software to support their new RFC 6238 TOTP authenticator mobile applications. As a result, any Security Key application prior to June 2015 can no longer be attached. The following can now be used instead, the SWTOR application doesn't need to be specifically used anymore. Windows Phone (TOTP) WinAuth - (TOTP) Authy - (TOTP) Google Authenticator - (TOTP) Google Authenticator is the recommended verification option, as it’s the most up-to-date Security Key available for SW:TOR. Once you’ve set up a SW:TOR Security Key, use Google Authenticator to generate the code needed when you sign into SW:TOR. The SW:TOR Security Key App and the SW:TOR Physical Security Key are no longer supported as verification methods. We recommend switching to Google Authenticator if you currently use either of these as a SW:TOR Security Key. TIP 1 - The serial that the swtor website provides to enter into the app , save that serial it can be used to setup the app again if you lose/break your phone. TIP 2 - You can setup more then one app. eg. you can setup the swtor app on your phone and have winauth on your PC for backup using the same serial. Hi all, I know this seems to be a common problem, but the game will not launch for me. I have installed directly from the site, as well as from steam and I get the same error. I can install it and log in, but when I press the play button, it bring up a loading screen and gets stuck there. I have a brand new PC with Windows 11 that is more than capable of running the game, and I have all the relevant drivers installed. I've gone through the many discussions here but I can't seem to find anything that is fixing the issue, any help would be massively appreciated!
