If you add in some trees, or a bush, or any plant with leaves What happens when the bug occurs? There are no leaves at all on the larger trees and on some bushes. Other plants are a brownish kind of dead looking color. What do you expect to see? I'd like to have trees and other plants that look alive and for the trees to have leaves. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Game Packs: All except Star Wars: Journey to Batuu and Jungle Adventure. Stuff Packs: All except Nifty Knitting and My First Pet. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Craft a utili-bot, wait for it to get shocked from the rain. Then place it into the workstation. What happens when the bug occurs? I tried to repair a damaged utili-bot that had got shocked from the rain. Every time it gets placed into the robotics workstation the utili-bot disappears along with the options to repair it. I can dismantle the bot but the workstation becomes unusable. All interactions lead to Sim unable to access it. The only workaround I have is to sell the workstation which places the bot into household inventory and requires buying a brand new workstation. Placing that bot into the new workstation will repeat the problem. What do you expect to see? An option to repair the utili-bot in the workstation that allows my Sim to perform that repair. What happens when the bug occurs? My Sim has a moodlet saying they have a midlife crisis and to refer to the Aspiration panel for more information. When I click on the Aspiration panel there is nothing additional. What do you expect to see? Midlife crisis tasks in the Aspiration panel when the Sim has a midlife crisis moodlet. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure Like other responses in the thread linked above, I play rotationally and just loaded up this household. I have played it once (possibly twice) since installing Growing Together, but don't remember whether I had received a notification of a midlife crisis when I last played this household. The moodlet is saying that the midlife crisis will last for 3 days, 19 hours, and 48 minutes. I haven't ever seen a moodlet before that told me to click on the Aspiration panel, and haven't ever seen additional midlife crisis tasks in the Aspiration panel. Send Sims to University, attempt to complete presentation. What happens when the bug occurs? While at University, I completed a presentation. When I tried to give the final presentation at the correct weekday hours my sim picks it up in their inventory, but then doesn't go anywhere. They don't go give the presentation or do anything else. If I tell them to give the final presentation again the same thing happens every time, but for some reason, I've only had this happen to one of my sims so far, my other sim can give final presentations fine. What do you expect to see? I try to give the final presentation, my sim puts the presentation in their inventory, then doesn't go anywhere or give the presentation. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. University expansion pack I have tested this situation with out mods but the problem did not resolve. My affected sim is on academic probation in the drama distinguished degree program, not sure if that has any impact. Have a Teen or older sim take care of an Infant nearby their crib What happens when the bug occurs? The infant starts levitating and is all of a sudden taller and really skinny. Buy the tripod from the Moschino stuff pack and add a camera (I usually use the crystal clear one) and try to take pictures with or of multiple sims What happens when the bug occurs? The sims either doesn’t stand in-front of the camera or the they stand far away from each other so the poses look weird or they will be doing different poses (one does a happy pose and the other a sad pose) or they just don’t want to take the picture and everybody freezes and if you take pictures WITH sims the beeping of the camera continues even after canceling the action and resetting everything and everybody. When trying ti take a photo with the tripod from the Mochino stuff pack and a camera the sims will either stand in the wrong place, i.e. not infront of the camera or they just wouldn’t take the picture. This happens mostly when you choose “Take a picture with…” and the beeping continues even if I cancel the action and reset the objects and the sims. When you take a picture of two sims or more they stand far away from each other so the poses look weird or the sims won’t be doing the same pose, like one would do a funny pose and the other a sad pose. It sometimes helps restarting the game, but not always. Began happening a few weeks ago. And then of course there is the game lag after taking photos. After checking ID's when working for the First Order, when you go to arrest the individual, it doesn't work and glitches out. What happens when the bug occurs? The arrest acts as though it's still being conducted, so you can't click on anything else or even save the game, but the arrest doesn't complete. It just ends up being stuck like that. What do you expect to see? The arrest being followed through with and the game to go back to normal. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. My sim has even walked away before autonomously, but I can't click anything manually because it says "there is a sim being escorted". Their food will have a timer for when it spoils. What do you expect to see? I expect that food made by sims with the fresh chef trait will never spoil if they make food in the pressure cooker. It doesn't spoil when they use any other small or large appliance in the game. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. After installing the For Rent pack since the pressure cooker comes with that pack. 🙂 My sim has the fresh chef trait, as such any food he makes shouldn't spoil, however, if he makes food using the new pressure cooker, it does spoil. As I commented above, if my sims with the fresh chef trait make food using any other appliance (stove, grill, Sulani bbq pit, other small cooking appliances) it doesn't spoil. This includes the three small appliances recently added with the Home Chef Hustle pack. Note I removed my mods folder before Tuesday's game update and have not added them back so I've been playing mod (and cc) free since the update and installing the pack. I also deleted the localthumbcache file and repaired my game after the update and after installing the pack. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Pregnant horse gave birth, regular game play. What happens when the bug occurs? My mare goes into labor and gives birth but the foal never shows in the game. A new square on the family members pops up but no face loads in and no foal appears in game. What do you expect to see? A new foal appears and interacts normally.. No I've gone into CAS through the shift-click method and again, no faces load in the family member squares, going back to live mode the game stuck on the loading screen. Trying to exit the game leaves me stuck on the saving game screen. I have repaired the game and no changed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the bug persists. [FIXED] Child sims sometimes get stretched when picking up violin

The child sim gets stretched out, as if they're playing an animation that's rigged for an adult skeleton, when they pick up the violin. It then goes back to a child animation when they start playing music. What do you expect to see? For the child sim to play a proper child animation. Neutral/Not Sure Note that while it says I've removed my mods but had them installed prior, I started a whole new "...\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims" folder. So it's an entirely clean save that hasn't been touched by mods. For some reason the issue is randomly present or not upon startup. When it does occur it's 100% reproducible until I restart the game. If it's not present then it seems it's guaranteed to not happen again until the game restarts. I've found the chance of it happening on my PC to be roughly 50%, again only at launch. The mother is done with baking cookies, while I send the daughter to the fridge with a plate of bread. The mother takes the cookies outside instead of putting it on the counter. Then I tell the daughter to put away the cookies that are standing outside. She goes, takes the cookies, sits down, gets up, puts the cookies away. My Sims do that more often, sitting down to go put something in the fridge. Why? Could not found something about this yet. Was it already mentioned? They do this with the sofa, the normal table, the outdoor table, old house with the bar stools..... Sometimes they don't do it, sometimes they do. LOL! She just did the same, took the food, went indoors to sit on the sofa, got up walked back to the fridge to put away the food. When you click on dirty dishes to wash them the option in the pie menu is greyed out and says that there is no sink or trash can. I have both sink and trash can, as well as a dish washer. If I delete these items and replace them it works a couple of times, and then I get the same bug that says that I cannot wash the dishes without these items again. I have tried different sinks, counters, and garbage cans and nothing works. I can wash hands, get water, brush teeth, clean, upgrade, and do everything at the sink except for wash dishes. Only tried in apartments, haven't seen if it happens in residential homes yet. I've removed all mods, please stop suggesting to remove mods. What do you expect to see? Open and close CAS or just load the game. What happens when the bug occurs? Anytime I load the game my sims are wearing their cold weather outfit, even if before loading they were wearing something else. If I load the game when they are asleep, after loading my sims will be standing by their bed in their cold weather outfit. The problem doesn't occur with toddlers. What do you expect to see? The "fold and put away" or smth option doesn't come up when I try to get my clothes out of the drier, I need to dump them on the floor and rewash them again before it comes up with this option. I go to make something on the hotpot in sims 4 snowy escape, and the sim refuses to do it. It just dissapears from the taskbar. no waving to say something is in the way either. i have tried moving it, telling a diffirent sim to do it and buying a new one. It still doesnt work... Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure It worked the first time i tried it. After that it just stopped working.
