Why do fairis take the stairs?
Why do fairies take the stairs? They float but that's it. They should be able to elegantly drop down from the above floor. If I was a fairy I most certainly wouldn't take the stairs if I didn't have to. Players should also have the option to chose which floor they want the fairy to land on. Just my opinion.
Sims4 console
I wanted to share my thoughts for sims4 base game console. It would be really cool if base game had shaving and skin care in the base game. For the girls too that happen in real life like periods that would go well with pregnancy in base game and skincare for wear the sims brush there teeth in base game. It would be cool for base game people to have that stuff.[EBN] Clients need to sit still during examination
It would be really nice if, on the days you choose to see clients at home while working in the Apothecary career, that the clients would stand firmly in one place while you're examining them. I'm frequently have to chase clients around my own home while attempting to treat them. It's like, excuse me? Where do you think you're going? This is my place of work, not a show home. I've been a sims 4 player for over 3 years and within those years I've been wanting some items that are not only gameplay related but would also fit in majority of players role play as well. These are just my opinions and ideas. Strollers. It's only natural to want the ability have your sim go on a walk with their little ones while pushing them in the stroller. Not only is it more realistic that the backpack we currently have, but imagine the aesthetic feeling it would bring into our family gameplay. Actual diving boards. I can't express it enough how much I dislike the look of the ingame diving board we have. Not only is it bulky but it's just not realistic. And if not a diving board than number 3 would be a nice option. Water slide that is functional for children through elders. Yes even elders are able to enjoy watersides. I think just these three items would change of everyone's play experience for the greater side. PLEASE EA and SIMS developers, atleast consider these ideas and many more that have expressed their ideas. The sims games were created to simulate life like no other game, and the smallest of details can make a huge difference in that experience. Thank you... Sim player
Lots of bugs
My game has been glitching a lot since the Enchanted by Nature event started. My sims won’t do what I tell them to sometimes, the actions Ive canceled won’t leave the queue. My game keeps crashing but the one thats been annoying me most is I can’t claim any rewards from the event, it keeps saying online connection needed but I am online.Taking a break from the Sims 4

I know you don't know me, but, I thought I mention this: I have been playing the Sims 4 for almost a year now, and I have decided that I will be taking a break from the Sims 4. With the bugs that have yet to be fixed, the save corruption issue, and just that I have been spending too much time on the game
Rant - The ADs are super annoying
Since Sims 1 I've purchased almost every add-on. Sometimes not right away because I want to enjoy one at a time. I just had ChatGPT total the transactions I have directly with EA starting from 2008 and that was $950, and that doesn't include the packs I've picked up at stores. I stopped playing for 7 months and just came back again. This is the first time I just don't want to play or buy anything anymore and it's all thanks to your incredibly annoying ads. I've spend so much money on this game and it pisses me off to no end that after all of that it doesn't matter.. we're given this s**ty experience. I should be given an option to turn off these ads. I don't want whatever event you are using to advertize this pack in game. I just want the games i've purchased so far. When it's time for me to add that expansion I will. I know the base game is free, but you are now treating the people who have literally given you thousands dollars like we're the ones who are playing the free base game. Honestly, I think this has annoyed me enough to not buy another product until something changes. I'm done. I might play the older games for nostagia. Sims 2 was the best out of all of them tbh.. (the animations have just gotten lazy over the years you don't even have cars pick up your Sims anymore.. whats with that?). Anyway, I'm putting this out there incase there are others like me who are just feed up with paying for content and getting ADs & a terrible experience in return.
Sims 4 events
Hey! So the last event with the time traveler wasn’t complete-able for me. Which is a bummer since I wanted to unlock all of the things for my account. It was broken and I couldn’t get help or fix it before the event ended. I know there’s the new nature event- has anyone else experienced something like that with this one? I don’t want to put time into it again just to not be able to complete it to no fault of my own.Functional counters and cabinets.
Please make the counters and cabinets functionally similar to storage boxes. And also make them link to the refrigerator so that when you need to use your ingredients, they will be available. That way you can store groceries in them. If you can’t link it to the refrigerator at least let us put things like flowers, crystal, and random inventory items in them.
I'm a be honest
I really would like a season camp EP think summer camp for Sims kids and tweens if/ when we get them however as the title states I'm a be honest I don't want the team that did EBN, HR, FR, HSY, LS and MWS I know they mean well and want to give simmers want they would like but facts are facts they be making buggy and limited packs and paying 40 dollars.... then we didn't get a livestream for gameplay made me nervous. I'm not trying to be mean or hurtful it's just simmers can't play their games.
Balance and Happiness - what's the diff?
I know "balance" is under the simology tab. But it just seems like basically another version of "happiness": meet your needs you're happy. Don't meet your needs: you become the not happy. Meet your needs, you're 'balanced'. Don't meet your needs: you become the not balanced. What's the point of a 'balanced' metric?
Idea (Technical): Upgrade Python version used in The Sims 4
The last time The Sims 4 got an upgrade to its Python implementation was in 2018 with version 1.47.49.1020 when it received a Python upgrade to version 3.7 from 3.3.5. Since then, we have gotten 6 major new versions of Python, technically 7 when Python 3.14 releases later this year. The developers of Python have added a lot of significant performance optimizations with these 7 versions, along with new and significant programming features that make programming in Python way easier. As The Sims 4 is likely going to stick around for the forseeable future, it would be nice if mod authors were empowered with a modern Python version that will allow them to make better and more powerful mods. And as The Sims 4 itself uses Python for a lot of its systems, the game would also benefit from being updated to a modern Python version, not to mention that Python 3.7 has been deemed end of life since June 2023. Bringing the Sims 4's Python version up-to-date would also bring the aforementioned significant performance optimizations to The Sims 4, which would align with The Sims Team's renewed focus on improving game performance. The biggest performance improvement that can be made, is running the game's Python scripts on a modern Python version. While it is true that this would break almost all mods, it would modernize The Sims 4's foundation, allowing for a next-generation of mods that will make the game even better and bring the game fully into 2025.[Suggestion] Aspiration Builder
A base game update that would bring infinite playability to the game is the ability to create custom aspirations. They could work similar to how creating your own holiday works in Seasons. You could name it, and select skills/tasks/etc. to complete for each level. With how many skills and jobs there are in the game, it feels repetitive to only be able to gain points through the same aspirations which may have nothing to do with those jobs or skills. I find myself playing the same things over and over just to get those points. For example, if I could make a Photography-based aspiration under Creativity to go with skills needed for the Photo Studio and tie it to leveling up the skill, selling photographs, taking pictures, etc.
