[EBN] Clients need to sit still during examination
It would be really nice if, on the days you choose to see clients at home while working in the Apothecary career, that the clients would stand firmly in one place while you're examining them. I'm frequently have to chase clients around my own home while attempting to treat them. It's like, excuse me? Where do you think you're going? This is my place of work, not a show home. I know you don't know me, but, I thought I mention this: I have been playing the Sims 4 for almost a year now, and I have decided that I will be taking a break from the Sims 4. With the bugs that have yet to be fixed, the save corruption issue, and just that I have been spending too much time on the game
Rant - The ADs are super annoying
Since Sims 1 I've purchased almost every add-on. Sometimes not right away because I want to enjoy one at a time. I just had ChatGPT total the transactions I have directly with EA starting from 2008 and that was $950, and that doesn't include the packs I've picked up at stores. I stopped playing for 7 months and just came back again. This is the first time I just don't want to play or buy anything anymore and it's all thanks to your incredibly annoying ads. I've spend so much money on this game and it pisses me off to no end that after all of that it doesn't matter.. we're given this s**ty experience. I should be given an option to turn off these ads. I don't want whatever event you are using to advertize this pack in game. I just want the games i've purchased so far. When it's time for me to add that expansion I will. I know the base game is free, but you are now treating the people who have literally given you thousands dollars like we're the ones who are playing the free base game. Honestly, I think this has annoyed me enough to not buy another product until something changes. I'm done. I might play the older games for nostagia. Sims 2 was the best out of all of them tbh.. (the animations have just gotten lazy over the years you don't even have cars pick up your Sims anymore.. whats with that?). Anyway, I'm putting this out there incase there are others like me who are just feed up with paying for content and getting ADs & a terrible experience in return.
Why do fairis take the stairs?
Why do fairies take the stairs? They float but that's it. They should be able to elegantly drop down from the above floor. If I was a fairy I most certainly wouldn't take the stairs if I didn't have to. Players should also have the option to chose which floor they want the fairy to land on. I have tried everything I can think of. At first, I couldn't even move it around because it said my sim didn't own it. But, after I put it into my inventory in build/buy, she owns it, and I can freely move it in and out of her personal inventory. Now, she won't plant it. I don't even get the option to plant the seedling. I've tried planting it just in the ground and it doesn't work. I've tried planting it into a planter and it doesn't work. Nothing works. Has anyone had this issue and what did you do to fix it? Thanks!Sims4 console
I wanted to share my thoughts for sims4 base game console. It would be really cool if base game had shaving and skin care in the base game. For the girls too that happen in real life like periods that would go well with pregnancy in base game and skincare for wear the sims brush there teeth in base game. It would be cool for base game people to have that stuff.

Hi, I really like San Myshuno and Night City (Cyberpunk 2077), it would be nice to get another big city. Some ideas of neighborhood : Shore front / Beach Industrial area : Warehouses, factories and loft apartments Downtown : Mega residential building with Venues included Neon city : Nightlife activities (Dance club, bar, ...)
Update Mermaids, plant sims and aliens!
With most of the other occults having skill tress and abilities I feel these three have been forgotten. I had hoped the team would have done something with the plant sims with the new pack coming as well as the fairies but maybe they’ll get to it with a base game update towards the release.. but I feel like now that ghost were updated they should go back and fix these occults to match the others that feel more fleshed out.In game items ideas
I've been a sims 4 player for over 3 years and within those years I've been wanting some items that are not only gameplay related but would also fit in majority of players role play as well. These are just my opinions and ideas. Strollers. It's only natural to want the ability have your sim go on a walk with their little ones while pushing them in the stroller. Not only is it more realistic that the backpack we currently have, but imagine the aesthetic feeling it would bring into our family gameplay. Actual diving boards. I can't express it enough how much I dislike the look of the ingame diving board we have. Not only is it bulky but it's just not realistic. And if not a diving board than number 3 would be a nice option. Water slide that is functional for children through elders. Yes even elders are able to enjoy watersides. I think just these three items would change of everyone's play experience for the greater side. PLEASE EA and SIMS developers, atleast consider these ideas and many more that have expressed their ideas. The sims games were created to simulate life like no other game, and the smallest of details can make a huge difference in that experience. Thank you... Sim player
Lots of bugs
My game has been glitching a lot since the Enchanted by Nature event started. My sims won’t do what I tell them to sometimes, the actions Ive canceled won’t leave the queue. My game keeps crashing but the one thats been annoying me most is I can’t claim any rewards from the event, it keeps saying online connection needed but I am online.[NCQE] Not getting all consumable awards with ended event
So, have finished the event, but cannot claim the very last 'reward' as do not have enough points. No more quests, says thanks for playing. Guess since do not have all dlcs, did not 'earn' enough by doing all supposedly optional quests. If these quests are optional, then NOTHING should be locked behind them. Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title to better reflect the issue.
Balance and Happiness - what's the diff?
I know "balance" is under the simology tab. But it just seems like basically another version of "happiness": meet your needs you're happy. Don't meet your needs: you become the not happy. Meet your needs, you're 'balanced'. Don't meet your needs: you become the not balanced. What's the point of a 'balanced' metric?
Becoming a Fairy- WAY too simple! (AND EVERYTHING ELSE, TOO!)
Watching James Turner play Enchanted by Nature. Fairies are ridiculously simple to become and then ridiculously overpowered. To become a fairy, you do a handful of simple steps that take 40 in-game minutes and you're set for life. Then you no longer have a Hunger or Bladder need ever again, and can use a single low-price fairy house object to fill all your needs whenever you want. So in just a few real world minutes any Sim can become basically permanently happy and all-powerful forever. What's the point of even playing the game then? You can buy an apothecary item for 20 simoleons that fills ALL your motives, removes ALL your negative moodlets, and fixes your balance. Enchanting a gnome to garden for you makes ALL your plants bloom INSTANTLY, and the gnome drops rare and expensive seed packets that can give you death flowers with literally no effort. None of this is balanced, this is all just cheating- there's no gameplay here, what are you doing? Why is none of this even attempting to be a video game anymore, this is all just play-around-whatever nonsense that completely destroys the GAME part of the game! -You get a seedling, either by...asking someone you just met to hand you one, or buying it on the computer -You plant the seed -You get a text box popup before planting the seed warning you that you're gonna summon mother nature IMMEDIATELY by doing so -The seed is placed on the ground, and sprouts instantly -The seed disappears and does not have to grow or anything -You drink a potion -You go swim in a pond and become a fairy Are you for real? This is worse than "Gather Motes" to become a spellcaster. There's no time investment whatsoever, there's no difficulty, you don't have to find the seed or do any quests or anything to get it, you literally ask for it (Or buy it on the COMPUTER? REALLY?) and you're a fairy within 40 seconds. This pack comes with another questing system, so why isn't something like this tied to quests? This occult requires a seedling and a plant, so why don't you have to prove your worth by successfully growing the plant? You're telling me an evil man who lives in an industrial neighborhood and has no skills or abilities or friends whatsoever can just throw a seed he got off the computer into the dirt, instantly have it germinate, and get magic fairy powers from mother nature who doesn't sense anything off about this request? There's no gameplay to this whatsoever, there might as well just be a "become a fairy" button you get when you click on your SIm. I rarely call content in games "lazy" but this is LAZY.
The Sims™ 4 Music Expansion Pack
Hey, I've seen a lot of music-related topics here but all of them were about bands so I decided to give my idea of something that would be larger than bands and worthy of an expansion pack instead of a game pack, and before you say anything - hear me out. Music is something that makes our life better, I can't imagine a life without music, all those sounds that were being created for centuries have always been something that people liked. The music industry over the years has gotten so much more attention and is currently one of the highest-paid industries in the world. Making a game pack only about bands would be such a missed opportunity. For starters, I think that there should be three ways of gameplay: solo, group, or band. Bands and groups will have the ability to practice together and groups will be able to harmonize. You can leave a certain group or band and go solo anytime you want. There should be also a new management menu that would allow us to: manage the members of our group or band see our recognition level with the number of fans change the name of our singer/group/band view all released music and see which place it took on the charts schedule (and view already scheduled) concerts and concert tours display of the current record label with the description of advantages and disadvantages Besides that, there should be two new traits connected to singing and performing giving a little advantage when singing and performing and three new skills: classical singing, contemporary singing, songwriting, and one hidden skill called performing. Also, a new skill for the new instrument - drums, obviously. Classical singing is something that allows our Sims to be opera singers, they will be able to practice it by going on paid vocal lessons or by themselves (but this way is less effective and can harm/strain the voice easily). They can go and audition for a job and depending on their classical singing skill, they might be accepted and work in the opera (rabbit hole). Contemporary singing is right now one of the most popular ways of singing and that is the type of singers that record labels want. Sims can learn contemporary singing the same way as classical singing - by going on paid vocal lessons or by themselves (but this way is less effective and can harm/strain the voice easily). Solo, groups, or bands can record covers of certain songs and then post them on the internet. Depending on their skills and ways of promotion, they will gain recognition, and the bigger their recognition is and the hype over the cover, the bigger the chance a record label will call them and offer them a certain record deal. Another way of getting into a record label would be to record a demo of an original song and wait for the response of a certain record label. Record labels will have two types: Major and Indie. Major labels will be all about profit and domination in the music market. + you will gain a lot more recognition, fame, and money + your songs will get higher on the charts (also with a big chance of achieving 1st place) + your music will be of very high quality and you will have access to the best recording studios in the new world for free + concerts and concert tours expenses will be paid for by your label - you will have less control over the music (they will tell you what you need to do to complete the requirements included in the contract, for example, release 5 songs in the R&B genre, which also will be finally added) - they will own all songs that were created by you during the time under that label (if you released a song and you will leave that label you will not be able to sing it at concerts and any money etc.) - they will take a certain % out of your earnings - they will schedule concerts and concert tours for you, whenever they want Indie labels will be more artist-friendly but also will be less important in the music market. + you will have full control over your music + you will own all your songs - it will be harder for you to go on top of the charts (but this depends more on recognition and fame levels) - you will gain less recognition, fame, and money - all expenses will have to be paid by you There will be an option to negotiate a major record deal and if the major record label agrees with you (depends on your recognition level and fame), a certain disadvantage will be removed. So for example, if you decided that you want to negotiate control over your music, if successful, you will have control over your music in the major label. Recording music You can record music and release it anytime you want, even if you don't have a record deal with a major label but remember that an expensive recording studio will give you higher quality songs but also will be indeed, very expensive. Performing You can perform anywhere and anytime you want but you can also schedule a concert or concert tour (even if you don't have a record deal with a major label but this will be very, very expensive). There will be a special menu that will list all available places for you to book, as well as a new venue called stadium (similar to The Sims 3) that will be a big arena in which our global stars will be able to sing and perform. There will be new group dances for groups and singers. So, in conclusion, in case you don't want to read all of it. There will be a new world, similar to Los Angeles in which you will have new venues: cheap and expensive recording studio, stadium You will be able to go solo, in a group, or a band (bands and groups can practice together, groups can harmonize). You can quit a band/group or go solo whenever you want. You will be able to gain new skills: classical singing, contemporary singing, songwriting, playing on drums, and one hidden skill called performing You will be able to write and then record your own songs in a cheap or expensive recording studio. You will be able to schedule concerts and concert tours for money You will be able to sign a record deal with an indie or a major label (and also negotiate the deal in the major labels) You will gain recognition and fame (with Get Famous) New job that you need to go on an audition first to get it: opera singer New activity: vocal and music lessons where you can practice your skills New radio station: R&B New situation in which singer can strain their voice and won't be able to sing for an estimated period of time
