Underwater Camera
This has bugged me for a while now; they gave us mermaids, but they never gave us a camera setting to photograph them underwater. Not even the underwater photographer career lets you set up your own photos, but that's a whole different topic. To me, at least, this doesn't make sense, as I'd love to photograph them underwater in different poses. It just comes across as the camera settings were ignored when mermaids were added to the game. Such a missed opportunity. I'd also like for them to be able to interact with marine life and other mermaids underwater, but that's a whole different conversation.

Hello EA Team, l am a player of The Sims 4 and my name is Ayla.I believe that some of The Sims 4 expansion packs offer content that enriches the core gaming experience. Specifically, the Seasons pack adds seasonal changes to the game, making the overall atmosphere more vibrant. I feel that these packs are essential for a comprehensive and enjoyable gaming experience. I think it would be great if these packs, especially the Seasons pack, could be made available for free for a limited time. This would allow players who do not own these packs to experience and enjoy the game more fully. Than you for considering my feedback.💗
Always twins or triplets
I'm so sick of always having twins or triplets. When I actually use the "make a baby" command, the odds of having twins or triplets always go up. Twins and triplets are actually rare, and usually there's only one, right? I'm really scared to use the "make a baby" command. This doesn't seem to happen when we're on the phone talking about having a baby or adding to our family. I wish they'd reconsider the odds of having twins or triplets.
Is it possible to make it easier to eat ingredients out of the fridge?
Hi, one thing I like to make my Sims do is eat fresh ingredients, and I keep the fruits and vegetables etc. in the fridge for cooking. In order to eat an apple out of the fridge though, you can't just click and eat it. You need to physically drag it out of the fridge inventory into an accessible spot for the Sim to grab and eat it. It would be nice if we had the option right out of the fridge instead.
[BG] New color swatches
Do you have any suggestion of BASE GAME items (create a sim or build/buy) that should get new color swatches? Drop it here. Add the cardigan top color swatches to the cardigan dress and vice-versa. Add the male varsity jacket color swatches to the female varsity jackets and vice-versa.
Thermostats NEED a smartmode please
I understand that people normally adjust their thermostats to suit whatever the weather is. However this is a game and the thermostat needs to be made smarter so it will adjust itself to different temperatures. Why would I say this when we can make sims adjust them? This is why.... I have many households and so I rotate between them and sometimes it will take me a long while to get back to a household, even if it is my favorite household, as I tend to obsess a bit on whatever household I am playing until get them to a point where I feel I can move on. Today I was missing my favorite family so I switched over to spend a little time with them. Immediately I notice the parents running around in coats and the school age child is sitting on the couch in his scouting uniform and he has a moodlet that says he is experiencing morgue-like cold in the house. THIS IS NOT OK THAT MY SIMS ARE MISERABLE WHEN I AM NOT THERE!!!! I have many households and it is not reasonable that I should have to load them all up just to change the thermostat. And don't tell me that there is a mod for that because it is broken and doesn't work right and besides that, I have no mods anymore because of other broken stuff.
Edit extended Family Trees
I'd love it if in manage worlds you can edit family trees, so you can update families that are added per pack/gallery/etc. Many people love the family trees of the main Sim families, like the Goth, Crumplebottom, Bachelor and Caliente families which are connected together throughout the series. So many marriages, cousins, etc. And allow TBA/placeholders for unknowns and not yet added to the game Sims. Also allow for NPCs we cannot control so they are not left out. This would help with non-canon romancing with extended family from happening.
Okay why aren't Sims smart?
No like seriously do they really have to be stupid? The sheer.... dumbness of the Sims AI or whatever it is that's controlling them is astounding. They have to pee, instead of doing so, they run outside to play in the rain. Then when they pee on themselves they get embarrassed for a week. The obsession with the computer. The obsessions with their phones. Their OBSESSION WITH EACH OTHER. The Pets... need I say more. They are hungry, they eat, then they put their dirty plate on the half walls you built to make their house look nice. The sheer inability to take care of infants and children. The constant phone calls. My god my Sims are not popular, stop calling them! The uncancelable (yes I made that word up) queued up 'react to first snow' or 'react to weird light'. You know, I'm happy there are no cars because all the Sims heads together wouldn't know how to work the PRNDL. Sorry I'm on generation 3 of my legacy and the autonomy is driving me absolutely mad. It's mystery how the goals are even getting done.
Idea-The Sims 4 Leisure Life
Sul Sul, It would be cool to have a Sims 4 Leisure Life stuff pack. I know it's been ages since a stuff pack!! Think Country Club aesthetics. The idea would be things you can do at country club/leisure lifestyle. Tennis courts, Golfing. Preppy fashion to match. You could even have cross pack comparability - Horses could do Polo. Or maybe even have Ponies instead of Horses. There could be water aerobics and water polo for pool activities. Everything for that ultimate leisure lifestyle. Would be cool to even have a small world like others we've gotten in game packs. Where it's just a country club and parkland and maybe a beachside area. I need this so I assume someone else might too :)
I don't understand
It's not for a bug but an incomprehension. Why make u a new gameplay with fairy while we wait so much things again, more importants things ? For me, there are prioprities, so much years now we want the return of vehicules, school's bus, a open map, learn to drive... We have so much MODS and you don't ask yourself why. I have a idea too : when we creat a sim, we don't have grandparents in the menu. You created a beautiful pack about family but without the most important thing : that. We don't have pre-school/nursery-school, home school, sports for children : football, basket-ball, dance, gymnastic... Add a nanny, have more than one domestic... Pregnancy for teenager, choose de preferances about childbirth, buy condoms, birth preparations sessions, going home with the ultrasound... Build a hotel ! Have a hotel school... There have more priorities than fairys.
Idea: Superhero/Villain and Royalty Expansion Packs with Save Toggles
I think a simple World Toggle System would let players enjoy Royalty or Superhero gameplay without changing every save. When you start a brand-new save, you’d pick one of four world types: Regular (Classic Sims): Everything works as it does now. Royalty Save: Unlocks a castle-themed world and assigns titles (king, queen, emperor, empress, duke, duchess, etc.) to some NPCs. Everyone else is a commoner. Superhero/Villain Save: Unlocks a comic-style city where a few NPCs gain superhero or villain roles along with superpowers. The rest are ordinary citizens, because not everyone in a Marvel or DC universe is flying around in a cape. Both Royalty + Superhero: If you own both packs, you can enable both systems in the same save, giving you access to both themed worlds and role types. Your choice affects only that save file and existing worlds like Sulani, Willow Creek, etc. stay exactly the same. Sulani won’t suddenly sprout castles, and Oasis Springs won’t be crawling with masked vigilantes. If you choose Royalty or Superhero mode, an extra themed world appears just for that save. If you pick a Regular save, those themed worlds could still be available, but they’d behave like standard worlds (no titles or superpowers). CAS integration: In a Royalty save, CAS would show a dropdown (next to relationships and pronouns) where you can assign a title to your Sim or leave them as a commoner. In a Superhero save, that same slot lets you mark a Sim as a hero or villain, or leave them an ordinary citizen. If you choose hero or villain, a new panel (like the aspiration or trait section) appears to let you select their superpowers. When you hit Play, the game automatically assigns a few NPCs appropriate titles or hero/villain roles so you don’t have to. All clothing, furniture, and Build/Buy items from these packs would remain available in every save, no matter what world type you choose. This idea would also make Royalty and Superheroes work more like gameplay roles rather than occults, so you could still have the option to make a mermaid queen or an alien superhero. If they were occults instead, you’d be stuck choosing one or the other, making it feel limited as to what you can actually do and create. I’m not a modder or a dev—just someone sharing an idea in case it sparks discussion or inspires someone who can make it happen. If anything ever comes of it, I’d appreciate credit for the concept. I also posted this on Reddit to see what people there think too. It’s probably a long shot that EA or anyone else notices, but it can’t hurt to get the conversation going.
Will the game ever add strollers?
I got the toddler stuff pack for the play dates, but I can't really use it because there's no toddlers walking around the towns and just having a random on the toddler on the loose doesn't look right. So I believe the shoulders should have been added with the toddler stuff. Pack or growing together expansion pack. Another way is you could have toddlers can make friends in daycare.Scared emotion
Is it just me or anyone else thinks the scared emotion isn't making any sense? It's so overreactive that we barely see any difference from the Terrified emotion and it also pops up so easily and, being so overreactive, just annoys the gameplay. So my suggestion is: • Remove from Scared ➡️ Keep on Terrified: - Scared walkstyle - Scream Incoherently - Hide Under The Covers (bed) - Take a Panicked Poop (toilet)
Lack of gameplay objects in The Sims 4
With the new pack Enchanted by Nature looking once again empty, I think it is evident now what is missing in The Sims 4 packs - gameplay objects. All previous games and their DLCs were built around gameplay objects, regardless if they were for skill, for daily life (like washing machines) or just for fun. We had packs like The Sims 2 Freetime with several objects for hobbies or packs like The Sims 3 Supernatural with related and unrelated objects like arcade games. The Sims 4 focuses to much on the invisible or UI gameplay, like various systems for Sims personality and relationship, or quests, rabbithole events and managment of something (like recently business management). Even the new upcoming pack is again focusing on this type of gameplay by including ailments and luck system While I'm grateful for some system and UI elements, like Milestones or better businesses, we just need more variety for the gameplay now. More gameplay interactable objects, for skills or just for fun. With all the packs, we already could have got like pool table or new music instrument - the new pack would be perfect opportunity to include harp.really annoying fairy makeup
since the latest update, even though I am not interested in fairies, and therefore will not be getting the new EP, a lot of the sims in my worlds have fairy makeup. I am finding this really annoying. If anyone from EA reads this, would you please consider removing this feature. Just bring it in for those who want the EP, not for the rest of us. talking of the new EP, since when are fairies natural or a part of nature? I was really disappointed after reading the name of the new EP to discover what it is all about.
