Why can't sims just marry at the Courthouse?
I bought the Wedding expanmsion pack and have NEVER had a good experience with it. Maybe it is broken but I plan wedding events and then the sims can never get the interactions to work. I just sit and scream at the computer because it just makes me crazy when I just want them to get married already and they keep falling asleep or have to pee in the middle of the whole thing. Ridiculous. Also, shouldn't we just be able to have Civil Ceremonies at the Courthouse like in previous sims games? Just go and pay a fee and then you are married. I could have designed a better pack. There should be NPCs just just carry out the whole wedding for you. You pay them and then the venue handles the whole affair instead of your sim having to try and figure out how everything is supposed to work and then doesn't.
CAS Columns & BUY BUILD Catalog Sorting
IT's time! LIke its really existentially necessary! 😅 I should not need mods to have this in game. CAS Background (neutral colors in white, rose, beige, black, grey, and navy blue) We need alternatives without the need to mod it. Custom Options should be available and integrated. We need MORE CAS Columns, like yesterday. 😆Please give us optional CAS Columns 2, 3, 4, and 5. Seriously, it's time to update this - WE need that! So tired of scrolling and searching Those features need to be able to be adjusted based on personal preference under the game settings, like script mods or weather settings, etc. I cannot be the only one who thinks: When will we get a BUY/BUILD overhaul, finally? 🧐 Drag & Drop Feature to size up/down the BB section. Adding personal custom categories for sorting items (like we had in TS2) New Categories—it's getting really messy in the catalog. Right? I appreciate your enthusiasm for the new features, but I'm quite disappointed with how occults are being handled based on the new "Faires" in the upcoming "Enchanted by Nature" expansion pack. As a huge fan of occults—vampires, witches, werewolves, aliens, mermaids, ghosts, faeries, (elves too, even though we don't have them, lol😅), and more—I feel like EA is neglecting the older occult types. While I understand that some occults were introduced in previous packs, that shouldn't mean they're forgotten. Here's what I mean: When new occults are released with brand-new features, those features should be adapted and applied to older occults as well. This seems like a logical and obvious step to me. Benefits for Simmers and EA Imagine how cool it would be to add new items and give older occults the same new features from the new pack, just adapted to fit them. This would not only incentivize new players to purchase older packs but also make existing players who already own them much happier. Ultimately, this benefits EA too. These refreshes and upgrades would encourage more Simmers to consider buying older packs. Currently, there's no real incentive for customers if newer occults are inherently "better" just because they're newer. Especially considering your statement, 'The Sims' is going to stay for a long time. It would be a WIN-WIN for all of us. Wishlist for Improving Older Occults Treating all occults equally would be amazing and would give us a huge incentive to create new stories and play them more often. Aliens (Get to Work Expansion Pack) They desperately need a skill tree—this should be a patch update. We should be able to create new Alien Races with CAS customization, including a color wheel. Why isn't a color wheel patched in for them yet? More face markings, horns, ears, etc., are needed. Linking the alien form to the original form, similar to vampires and spellcasters, is a must. It's incredibly frustrating to have to create two versions of the same alien. What if I want the same form but just want to change the color or add face markings to the alien version? I can't do that easily now, and it takes hours to try and match the second form. I want them to be recognized as one character! Mermaids (Island Living Expansion Pack) They also need a skill tree, which should be patched in. A CAS color wheel for their mermaid tails is essential. More facial markings, mermaid gills, mermaid ears, etc. An own category for face markings, gills, etc., would be very helpful Vampires: Vampires should get access to horns. This would open up possibilities for creating fantasy creatures like angels and demons! A color wheel for vampires would also allow for more custom fantasy options. In general, CAS needs a separate category for face/body markings, etc. If new occults get new features, older occults absolutely deserve a matching upgrade. Conclusion I really hope the Sims Team considers this: Whenever new occults are created, please don't forget to upgrade the older ones with matching features. These new features should be included in a patch update for older occults. Our Occults deserve better!😉🧛♀️👽👻🧜♀️🧚♀️❤️ I wish I could make a poll—I'm sure many Occult Players would agree with me. Skateboarding & Scooters in The Sims?🤔🛹
Imagine this: Your Sim grabs their board, throws on a beanie, and heads out to the local skatepark o grind rails, land kick-flips, and cruise around on a scooter. With rollerblading already in the game, expaning into skateboarding and scootering feels like he next natural (and totally rad) step! Brining back that early 90s- 2000s skate culture- with its bold fashion and rebellious freedom- could give sims a whole new way to express themselves. Think halfpipes, skate shoes, baggy jeans, graphic tees, and a "Thrill Seeker" trail. Let's roll into modern nostalgia and give out Sims a reason to shred! Who else wants to see their Sims shred or nail a gnarly kick-flip? Drop a comment "Scooter" or "Skateboard" in the replies!
Hairstylist/Cosmetologist Career Stuff Pack & base game hair painting updates
I would so love to see The Sims make a hairstylist/cosmetologist career where you can work at a salon or run your own at home salon. Sim clients can come in and tell you color preferences and whether they want a short, medium or long hairstyle, and what event the updated makeup look is for. Also if they want a full styling with make-up or cut and color, giving us many more opportunities for gameplay surrounding events like prom, life changes, and weddings. CAS Items could include new hairstyles and makeup options which I feel the game could always use more of. Build items could include a salon chair, mirrors, makeup and hair clutter. Not only that but I think it'd be a great opportunity for the Sims team to also add in a major base game update, like the tattoo update but allowing us to paint hair like we can paint animal fur or werewolves fur, which would also open up so many new color combinations and swatches. Although we can already add our own custom makeup to sims via the tattoo system, implementing it for makeup so it can be removed or change per outfit just for the head seems like something that wouldn't be very difficult to add as well.
Alien Abduction Toggle
I have had trouble with male alien abductions across three different packs. I suggest that it have a toggle in Pack Settings like features in other expansion packs. Either that or allow the satellite dish an item that can be gotten through bonus points or purchased in build/buy mode. My sims shouldn't have to be scientists to purchase one for protection. I'm sure I'm not the only person who finds it disruptive to our family storylines.
Owning a Beauty Salon
I tried to post this a minute ago, idk if it when through…. So I’m reposting as a New Discussion just in case. I was surprised upon playing “Business and Hobbies” that the “All in One Salon Station” from the “Get Famous” pack didn’t get any love at all. In the spirit of “Open For Business”, I for sure thought some of the multi pack functionality included the Salon Station in order to recreate the Beauty Salon experience in the Sims 4. Paired with “Spa Day”, It would be nice to create the ultimate beauty spa. The Girlies get it 💅🏾. My hope with this post is to create enough discussion about it so that the Devs can reimplement this crucial Small Business Activity. As the daughter of a Barber and Small Business owner, this is a fair representation of a lot of actual Small business owners. This request comes especially after learning the limitations that the “Small Business and Hobbies” pack come with. It’s a better Pack for Sims whose entrepreneurship skills include acts of service. The Retail features are better represented in the “Get to Work” pack, because when it comes to restocking resell items it can become super tedious because you can’t restock items the same way you can in “Get to work” so even the Pottery Shop serves better as a full retail business rather than a small business. with all that being said, I really want the Sims Team to reconsider some of the Service Activities that can added to Small Business activities that were overlooked starting with and most importantly ALLOWING MY SIMS TO BE PROPER HAIRSTYLIST, BARBERS AND MUAs. The “All-in-one styling station” from the Get Famous pack is underutilized. I remember when the pack first came out and me making some make shift version on A Hair Salon that didn’t work well… When the Small Business and Hobbies pack came out, it surprised me how many things were overlooked in the Business Activities, even with the amount of options it was very surprising the Salon chair didn’t make it to the list. With the Spirit of “reprising” the “Open For Business” from the Sims 2, you could run your own Salon as a pack feature. Even as The Salon chair has its own pack, it would have been awesome to see it make a comeback as a multipack companion. I’m still eager to see this functionality added to the game, so I hope this post is seen and received by many who has the same want.
Hotel Game Pack
Just to be clear what I am going for is a bit of old school luxury in my hotel choices. Something that centers around the aesthetics and service. Also since the Sims tends to skew American I went for more of a Great Britain feel with a bit of luxury Egypt. I tossed in a little Overlook Hotel too. This may not be everyone's cup of tea stylistically speaking, some people maybe want something simple like a bed & breakfast or the great American Road trip where you stay in kinda tacky cheap places. What am I paying for?
I was just soft locked from my sims4, like sure it's my choise to pay such a riddicolus ammount for a game BUT if i put in more than 4000 swedish kronor in to all the expansions the game should be bug free? Or is that just me whom feel this way? I lost more than 3 houres of progress just becouse the game soft locked. It,s soo lazy of the developers and then the only way i could find a way to coplain is thru a discussion with people who isn't even a form of developer for the game..... Im dissapointed how do i contact ea directly? Why isn't it esier AND WHY is every game like 456 kr, Like the f "small" packs are like a 100kr ?? How is the packs costing the company soo much???
Things I'd like to see in the next update.
I've been playing Sims since the beginning. Id like to see some features of the past games in the next update or at some point in Sims 4. I wish to see drivable cars once again and functional garages. One other thing I'd really really want to see is in game editing (Build/Buy mode ). Think of how cool it'd be to have the ability to find the perfect shade of the color you want for your furniture/walls.
Burnt food should make a comeback.
As the title says because previous games had burnt food we need to bring it back especially with the fire like when the fire is out the food is gone or you have to throw it away but in previous games the food was burnt some times Sims burnt the food without the fire and I liked the idea especially if the Sims are trying to learn how to cook burning the food will be high up with both cooking and baking skill also in previous games the burnt food was still edible yes the Sims couldn't stand but it was edible.
Underwater Camera
This has bugged me for a while now; they gave us mermaids, but they never gave us a camera setting to photograph them underwater. Not even the underwater photographer career lets you set up your own photos, but that's a whole different topic. To me, at least, this doesn't make sense, as I'd love to photograph them underwater in different poses. It just comes across as the camera settings were ignored when mermaids were added to the game. Such a missed opportunity. I'd also like for them to be able to interact with marine life and other mermaids underwater, but that's a whole different conversation.

I feel that these packs are essential for a comprehensive and enjoyable gaming experience. I think it would be great if these packs, especially the Seasons pack, could be made available for free for a limited time. Always twins or triplets
I'm so sick of always having twins or triplets. When I actually use the "make a baby" command, the odds of having twins or triplets always go up. Twins and triplets are actually rare, and usually there's only one, right? I'm really scared to use the "make a baby" command. This doesn't seem to happen when we're on the phone talking about having a baby or adding to our family. I wish they'd reconsider the odds of having twins or triplets.
Is it possible to make it easier to eat ingredients out of the fridge?
Hi, one thing I like to make my Sims do is eat fresh ingredients, and I keep the fruits and vegetables etc. in the fridge for cooking. In order to eat an apple out of the fridge though, you can't just click and eat it. You need to physically drag it out of the fridge inventory into an accessible spot for the Sim to grab and eat it. It would be nice if we had the option right out of the fridge instead.[BG] New color swatches
Do you have any suggestion of BASE GAME items (create a sim or build/buy) that should get new color swatches? Drop it here. Add the cardigan top color swatches to the cardigan dress and vice-versa. Add the male varsity jacket color swatches to the female varsity jackets and vice-versa.
