This table is much taller than most of the other coffee tables in game, however it is tagged only as a coffee table and not as an accent table. It is much closer in height to most of the hallway tables and is in fact taller than one of them, the Eco Lifestyle Weaving Wave Hallway Table. Would love to see the Espresso Table be tagged as both a coffee and accent table. Occult Sims in human form perform their idle animations and sounds in CAS
All occult Sims in CAS perform their specific idle animations or sounds even when they are in their human (non-occult) form. This happens to all occult Sims while in their human form in CAS, including werewolves, spellcasters, mermaids, aliens, and vampires. NPCs stealing plants/garden harvestables
This has been ongoing for a bit now and has happened with ghosts, Patchy, random NPCs and houseguests. I have autonomous gardening turned off - yet they'll come over and harvest any plants they can get access to. If I add them to household, sure enough - the plants will be in their inventory. Can we get a cancel order button if we mis-clicked the wrong dlc?
Just frustrated that I can't play and even open my game until this gets resolved. I thought I was buying Businesses and Hobbies, but the app said I purchased Lovestruck. I tried to contact EA help since I do not ever want Lovestruck. I was trying to buy Businesses and Hobbies for my birthday. Talking to EA help really did not help. Apparently, they can't do anything until my bank gives them the money tomorrow. So I told I have to waste time on my actual birthday and be possibly be frustrated yet again. Hi! Previously, my adults who have the Good Manners trait were able to use the Polite Introduction social and get a really big boost to relationship. I recently used it and had disappointing results: This is worse than it would be if he used Cheerful Introduction. Googling and sites like Carl's Guides say that it previously started out relationships at 50% (barring other bonuses that make it EVEN BETTER). This is on Steam with no mods or custom content. When the game assigns a mixologist to a bar at a karaoke bar venue if I enter create a sim at any point after that any mixologists assigned to any bars lose their assignment and the game generates a new mixologist to replace them. Saving and loading also removes this assignment. You do not need to be on the lot for this to happen, but attending a karaoke bar venue and using the plan outfit option on a mirror will make the mixologist instantly lose their job assignment and the game automatically spawn a replacement. While this bug hardly breaks the game it does pollute your save with a bunch of poorly dressed townies that can not be improved upon without them losing their assignment defeating the whole point of editing them in the first place and creating a new poorly dressed townie to replace them. This also occurs with mixologists on bars at a spa venue and yoga instructors at a gym venue. [AA] 23 Formative Moments Not Working
PC, internal file review From what I can see 23 Formative Moments, do not have any corresponding files to provide the advantages they claim from the tooltip. For those who might not know often advantages (such as career/skill/etc.) are often handled in a corresponding "buff_" file for a trait. I also checked career internal files in case the career advantage was decided there, but no entries for formative moments. Now I know their might be a chance they are handled elsewhere, but because more than half do have the corresponding files—this just is a huge inconsistency. I haven't checked every file or check in game (as some advanced in game would be hard to tell the difference, especially when it is unknow the amount of an advantage—I am unable to really check in game either). I doubt any average user could or would be able to tell this, so I don't know if you will get much upvotes on this, but almost half your informative moments might not have been finished/are working. As players we trust all features and tooltips are correct and working, and in many cases cannot confirm without reviewing the internal files. So 23 Formative Moments Not Working. I have more information, it was pointed out that formative moments traits are per career_level/career. For formative moments that have to do with careers. The career files I looking was career/career_adult or career/careers_adult files, when I was looking through the files because that is where the other trait advantages are. But as pointed out that by some in the thread there is no advantage (including another bug report for fame points). Such as Culinary: career/career_Adult_Culinary here is where these traits/skills are getting advantages (career_story_progression): trait_Ambitious, trait_Lazy, trait_Foodie, trait_Glutton, statistic_Skill_AdultMajor_GourmetCooking, statistic_Skill_AdultMajor_HomestyleCooking, statistic_Skill_AdultMajor_Baking. career_level/career_Culinary_Level1 and so on, here is where (performance_stat_multiplier) trait_Reward_ChildhoodInspiration_FeedYourself moment is. I don't know if this is a career_story_progression vs. performance_stat_multiplier issue. Or that because it is the career level file. Can't host weddings on National Park lots
Sims cannot host weddings on National Park lots. I think this is an oversight and not a glitch, but I am wondering if anyone else had has this problem as well. The last time I've tried to create a ghost pet for my ghost sim family i couldn't. I imagine that was because we never could create ghosts on CAS before so that included pets and their packs too. I use the gallery both to download sims other players have created into my game as well as to move my own sims from one save to another, to give them a completely different story. Often this means I want the sim to be as designed, but I do not want their life history. We can obviously make adjustments to their traits when we download, why can we not delete their history of having been married or having had children? Or their family tree? I just spent time moving sims from into a new save because I wanted to give them a completely unrelated story, but now they show unknown siblings in their family tree all because they originally had brothers and sisters. They also show as having been married, even though I aged them down into teenagers this time before playing. Their story involved being only children, so I am feeling incredibly frustrated. [Although, if we could manually create this feature when we do want it, that would be great. Sometimes I do want a sim to have siblings in their tree that don't really exist in my game, so if that is an option it would make me very happy] Sometimes we do want the history, but we should have a choice to remove it. Even starting with the skills and jobs they had should be an option. Sometimes we don't want to spend the time redesigning the sim itself, we just want them as a starting shell to create a new story. Is there something already for this that I am not aware of? Although I have played for years I learn things every single day that I should have known years ago, so if that is the case here please let me know and save me so much sanity!Solved42Views1like2Comments
