Reaper's Rewards not working
The newest event Reaper's rewards is not working. The event is not triggering. I have restarted the game multiple times and even made sure my mods are not installed. I have tried with a new household without any cheats. I even tried repairing the game. Yet the event is not working. Any help would be appreciated.
reaper rewards week 2 keeps repeating
I completed week two of the reaper rewards a few days ago, but for the past few days after initially completing the requirements, it keeps reloading the 'digging holes' section of the event. It won't let me move on to week 3 until I complete week 2, but I can't because it keeps repeating. I'm just in a continuous cycle of making my squeamish sim fish, which isn't easy to do because she keeps getting uncomfortable. I don't know if this should go here or in bug reports, but let me know if I should move it there.
My Sims Can't Get Married after patch
Hi, my sims can't get married after that My Wedding Stories patch. How can I fix this? I got rid of the UI Mod and aside from CAS and BB items, that was the only the mod I had. I click on the arch and it the option to "exchange vows" or "get married to" are greyed out and it says "The engaged sim isn't here" when both sims are on the lot and near the arch.
EA. PLEASE let us turn off Grim Reaper Rewards and ads.
How can I turn it off? I'm not at all interested in the rewards or the challenges. It's sitting in the corner of my screen ruining my gameplay. Will it go away eventually or am I just stuck with it? Even if this one goes away will I be able to remove the next one?! I thought it would maybe be like the discovery quests that you can opt in or out of, which I already have turned off. PLEASE LET ME TURN IT OFF! I'm so confused as to why they made this a in game situation. Everyone plays this game very differently and this is making me want to stop playing. I've checked all the settings and tried multiple saves and there's nothing you can do. I'm more than annoyed by it, I see a lot of people in the sims community are also wanting to remove this. Stop forcing this kind of thing down our throat. I'll be here searching the internet until this problem has been resolved or until someone makes a mod to remove it all together. You know and I might as well throw in that Vivaland looks better and better everyday......
Still can't get Week 2 Friends with Death to trigger
Simply as stated, no mods, no nothing, and... yeah, think i saw something pop up last week but it never came back up since, and as such has left me locked out of half from last week, and as a result, I assume, is why week 3 refuses to trigger as well
Restarting Reaper's Rewards
Is there any way to restart the Reaper's Rewards quests on a new save? I lost the save where I had completed the first 3 weeks of events and would like to start again on a new save but the quests all show up as completed already. I know it's not necessary to do all the quests on the same save but not being able to do them all spoils the fun of the event. It's also difficult to get everything set up for the next week otherwise as the seed packets are clearly rigged for the quest to give you lilies and cherries as these are not usually in starter seed packets!
Reapers Rewards Week 3
Hello, I have gone through different forums to see if anyone else is having the same issue as me but to no avail. So far I experienced no bugs for the Reaper Rewards event. I have got to Week 3 of the event, completed all tasks however the Batfish reward is showing as available with 30 more event points (please refer to the attached screenshot). The rest of the week 4,5 & 6 rewards are locked as expected, however the Batfish reward is not. I play on PC so I have deleted all mods, cc and have restarted my pc and game but this still has not unlocked the Batfish. This is probably a stupid question but is the Batfish reward part of the week 4 rewards or have people already unlocked it?
Grim Reaper Event Broken?
The “Friends with Death” quest line for week 2 keeps resetting on me. Every time I load up the game it’s back at the beginning and I have to redo all the work I’ve done. I’m playing the same save file with the same family, no cc or mods. I don’t understand why this keeps happening. Is it a bug or do you have to complete it all in one go to count?
Grim Reaper Rewards no longer appearing.
I was able to play week 1 with my mods without issue, but when I started week 2 on launch day some tasks auto-completed so I restarted my game. Since then I haven't been able to make the quests appear again, I tried to make a new save file, disabled my mods, repaired the game, and made a second new save file without mods. None of it made any difference, I got the initial pop-up for week 3 but even those quests won't appear. I'm really bummed out because I've been looking forward to participating.
Week 3 of Reaper Rewards: Quest gone after CAS
So far, the event has been working nicely for me, and I was almost done with week 3 when I made the mistake of going into CAS because one of my Sims needed new clothes. When I returned to live mode, the quest bar was gone. I was supposed to go fishing with bait and visit the Magic Realm next. The really weird thing is that I could collect all rewards except the batfish. I mean, I don't mind getting rewards, but since I didn't do all the quests it feels a bit like cheating. Also, I'm a bit concerned that I might miss out on the next weeks because this week's quests haven't been registered as completed. I tried exiting and restarting the game but that didn't do the trick. Is there any way to bring that quest bar back? I know that un- and reinstalling worked for some people but if there's an easier, less time-consuming way, I'd rather take that 😁Scare Seeker Lot Challenge issue
Hi, regarding the Reaper Rewards. I have a problem with applying the Scare Seeker Lot challenge to my lot as it does not show in the list. I claimed it last week, it shows claimed on the Rewards screen but still is not in my lot traits list to apply. I have 42 lot traits in my list yet the Scare Seeker trait is missing. My game is on PC, Win 10. I do not use mods. I have read a reply that this has happened to another person. Please respond if you have encountered this and were able to fix. Thanks
Can't have more than 5 units in For Rent
I'm trying to assign the units in my apartment. I currently have 5, but when I try to assign the 6th, a new colour shows up it just replaces the colour of my last unit and a new sixth one doesnt appear. What am I doing wrong? Instead of reading unit 1,2,34,5.. 6! It goes 1,2,3,4,5 (but with a new colour).Grim Reaper Event still not working
Hello, I am making a new discussion post because a lot of the grim reaper posts have been marked as "fixed" but my game is most def not fixed. Like others from the past, my ambrosia letter was delivered successfully to my sim. I opened and read the letter, then all of my quests at the top left of my screen disappeared. little grim reaper is still there but none of the quests are. When I click on grim it just sends me back to the rewards page for the event, there I can confirm that I have only completed the first event from the first week. Everything else is still open but not showing up on my screen. I have tried repairing my game, I have moved to a new lot. I have started a new family. Nothing is working. The last reward I have received is the cook book.
Flea Market furniture not loading.
Hey guys, After experiencing the Spice Festival/Flea Market overlap issue, I had to destroy object everything (except the stuff on the cement, apparently thats never going away) in order to get Spice Town back to normal, but now when the Flea Market came to town again, the furniture doesn't spawn on top of the tarps. Everything else shows up, but not the random furniture. Any help is appreciated!
Reaper rewards cannot complete week 2
i was down to the last task for week 2 and almost had it done and then the whole friend of the grim reaper one restarted my progress, which i now can't complete because i can't get the ambrosia society newsletter again. please fix this soon EA. i know i'm not the only one either because I saw others on the gallery with the same problem today.Week two of reaper
I been trying to finish the week two since last week, I have no clue what I need to do cause it doesn't show me anything in the events. I have one more thing I need to get and then I can move on to week 3. I'm pretty much done with sims 4 because if your doing an event they should show up in the event area, not be blank and just says that you need to make friends with the reaper because I did that and nothing happen, I was good friends. I been on sims 4 since 4:30 it's not 7:30. With all the bugs and stuff going on with sims 4 I think it is time to find another game I'm done wasting my money on a game that doesn't work right..Is there a way to stop Sims 4 from creating New Townies?
I started a new save because I wanted the initial townies in the game. After a week, I noticed 12 newly generated townies, so I edited them in CAS, and then today, I noticed 24 new townies. I want to stop random townies from generating because I plan on adding over 100 of my Sims into this save. Can I stop this?
Reaper Event Bug: Missing Tasks, UI Locked, and Unable to Play—Any Fixes?
I started the Reaper event yesterday, and initially, everything was fine. But then the game stopped recognizing the lily and snapdragons I planted, which seems to be a common bug. I saved and exited the game, hoping it would resolve, but when I loaded it up again today, the event tasks were completely missing. I can still see the rewards, and it's showing I have the ‘Assistant to the Grim Reaper’ task left, but the tasks themselves have disappeared from the game. I’ve already tried disabling and removing all my mods, deleting the localthumbcache, and even repairing the game, but nothing seems to fix it. The tasks aren’t showing up in the original save I started or in any new save either. On top of that, I've been having an issue where I can’t even open the event UI. I tried deleting the AccountDataDB file, thinking it might help, but now the situation is even worse. When I launch the game, I’m stuck on the “Reaper event is on” screen. I can’t click "Play Now," and I can’t even close the window by clicking the X in the corner. Has anyone else experienced these issues and managed to fix them? At this point, I’m completely locked out of the game and could really use some advice on what to try next.Problems with the free event
Hello I seem to have a problem with this free event. Already started last week on week 2 mission 2. the sims diamond that should be in the left corner is gone. checked several times and have asked for help at EA's support but they referred me here. I have restarted the game, checked if there was an update and renamed the folder. Nothing works. They say that there are more people who have problems but do not know if it has been solved for anyone? I need help!Gallery
Has anyone had any issues with saving to gallery? Spent over an hour making a friend in the sims, got it pretty exact, had to download a family of cats to get her real life cat. The household was too big, so saved her to the gallery, made sure I had done it, twice. Replaced family, deleted cats I didn't need, and went to add her back in, and she was gone! Whole hour gone... the cat family saved just fine...
Proposals not working and other glitches
I just updated my game today. I want my sim to propose, but there's no proposal option. Their relationship is maxed out with best friends, totally in love, and nothing except Join Household, which I don't want. Also, Sim has had to go outside the house and back in in order to sleep, otherwise she gets up and won't stay in bed. Same with the bathroom. It's being very glitchy and annoying with other weird things too, like stopping in the middle of cooking and I have to tell her to resume.
New Event
Hello I have a problem with the New Event because I can't see the Event Tasks anymore idk why I didin't had that problem before it just randomly apeard. I play on Ps5 so I have no Mods or CC I have this for like three days or something so since 06.10.24 it would be nice if it get fixed so I can continue to play it.Reapers Rewards Broke Bring Back To Life
My reapers rewards, like almost everyone's, is completely broken. I am having the exact issue as everyone else. However, I also just experienced a new bug. Since the reapers rewards event broke I can no longer bring a sim back to life. It says I successfully did but the sim remains dead.Which Sims now have special conversations?
I recently learned that The Sims 4 now has special responses for some Sims. I read that Lily from Moonwood Mill has her own, and I've seen unique responses from Grimmie. Since I deleted most premades when I started my new save, I now am stressed out and think I must be missing out. I don't yet have Werewolves installed, so I'm prepared to just keep those Sims and give them makeovers, but I need to know which other sims I'll need to either try to put back in my game (and if that works) and which other sims to just keep in the future. Are these just new Sims and Grimmie or did they backtrack and enhance the older premades? If they did that, I might be screwed, LOL. Are there hidden traits I need to cheat Sims or is it stored some other way??? THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!
Uni Students Visit Darby's Den, Now Can't Return to Dorm
I'm very concerned. I was having a great gaming session today. My students began their first term, and I was able to play them all the way to having only two days left in the term. Since a holiday I created was happening, with one goal requiring water play, I took them to Darby's Den, where I could have them purchase a Water Balloon bucket. Behind and below Darby's Den is an area that has two picnic tables, each with a BBQ. I had them BBQ up a meal, since this was also a goal. When it came time for them to return to Wyvern Hall, my Sims couldn't return. I'm going to attempt a game repair to see if this helps resolve the issue. Yes, I have mods, but I have to say, nothing changed after my hours of gameplay, so I'm hard-pressed to see where the mods would suddenly be running interference. They were all able to go to their classes. They were also able to go out to dine in Willow Creek and return. What the heck is going on? Wish me luck. I'm really not wishing to rollback and replay then entire weekend or more prior to the Term beginning.No Soccer Practice at University?
I am greatly unhappy with the fact that I have four out of five students at Britechester-U, who have the Athletic Scholarship, and they have no requirement to juggle the ball, or to attend practices, let alone take part in the game. Who gutted this? Or could it possibly be a mod?
