Jealousy disappeared
I took a girl character from my old saves and replaced them in CAS with other characters, creating a few more animals. I played for a while, and the girl became a fairy. Then I created a werewolf, moved him in with a neighboring family, and decided to have a romance with him. The romance meter filled up, and then I wanted to make it a drama quest, but neither the girl nor the werewolf are jealous. Jealousy is enabled for everyone in the settings. I went into another download, and everything works fine there. I don't have any mods, only clothing mods. Could you please tell me what I can do in this situation? Maybe it's possible to somehow reboot the entire city or do something in general with the loading... Thanks in advance!
Paint on Sim
A few days ago, I noticed that a male sim got paint all over his face and body after painting. I don't know how to correct this. I tried showers but that doesn't help. I went to the face paint section to see if somehow that got clicked on - but couldn't find anything there. Then it happened to another sim. Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Calendar All Messed UP
Hi, moderators, this may be in the wrong section, I don't quite know for sure. Please move it, if so. Just yesterday when I was checking my game calendar, I noticed something a bit off. I have Get Famous and am used to the Starlight Accolades Show showing up on each Sunday. I'm on Saturday of the game, and the next day it shows, but the rest of the Sundays don't have the event flagged. To be honest, I have not played an earlier save to see if the show goes on, as usual, but I am very bothered by the fact it isn't listed for the rest of the game-year. True enough, to save a bit of time after a needed rollback, I switched to a 7-day Season, but once I got to the next week I returned to the 14-day season. If something happened during the switch over, I surely didn't notice it right away. I have searched through several of the earlier saves (I always do a Save As at the beginning of game play) and all of the most recent ones are missing the event flag for the Starlight Accolades. Is there a way to fix this, please? It is my hope to solve this problem before the Jumbo Patch hits tomorrow, if possible. Otherwise, I will have to return to a much earlier save wherein I have no identifiable problems with the save. But that takes the teen twins back to their toddlerhood. Before I can share anymore updates, I'll have to play a lot, in order to catch up, lest the updates mess with the current timeline of events. Oi. Any and all help is appreciated. Anyone else having bugs with the horses more than usual? Like the sim not being able to interact with the horse (petting, talking etc), they just do it randomly in a really weird position away from the horse. Or not being able to get on the horse and/or doing it, again, in really weird way. Also when training the horse the whole thing just pauses and stops moving but the skill is still developing?Is for rent worth it?
Hi, I really want to buy the for rent expansion pack but I have my doubts because of the corruption risk. I intend to play in the same save file for a really long time with aging of (no overly complicated family trees, relations ex), I have only two worlds with all lots occuptied, I delete townies who I do not care about. If I buy the for rent pack I intend to play with 2 or 3 rental units in the same lot. Is it safe to buy because from what I've heard for rent can causes corruption (higher risk) if there's to many rental units or a save file with lots of generations (legacy players). With the new update (laundry list of 150+ bux fixes) on november 4th i feel hopeful, but please help me before I buy it and then regret it later ;( (I play with mods and cc, but I back up my saves everytime before I update and I update my mods regularly)Changing Career Branch
Does anyone know how to switch between career branches? I initially chose the mixology branch of the culinary career (currently level 6, Head Mixologist), and I'm now trying to change to the chef branch. The demote career cheat just fires me, and if I quit the job and try to re-join, I'm started again at Head Mixologist with no option to choose between the branches. I am on Xbox (no mods/cc). so I recently downloaded some mods and cc and after that my game started to crash, so as one does I deleted the mods and cc, still my game either is stuck on the loading screen or when I click 'resume game' it goes to the screen where you pick a city to live in with the household I chose to play with in a bubble above the city. so I click on the city and on the household, then I click play and it goes to the loading screen but then automatically goes back to the city screen. I really don't know how to fix this and it is getting quite annoying.. can someone help me????Graphics and odd problems
I began having problems with the graphics yesterday. I thought it was no big deal due to the possibility of having the bugs fixed in a couple of days, but then I started having problems with the paintings not acting like paintings. Instead of going onto the wall like it is supposed to, it's going onto the floor, and I would have to press 9 to raise it. The graphics are extremely blurry, but even when I zoom in closely, they don't improve much. The only mods I have are for the cas portion, excluding two, but even those are up to date. During the previous bug fixes, I didn't have a single problem until nowIs it safe to go to San Myshuno?
I haven’t taken any of my sims to San Myshuno for more than a real life year (except once by accident) for fear of corrupting my saves seeing as the fix for the spawned items bug didn’t truely solve the problem - or am I remembering this wrong? However, I’m getting tired of saying no to/ignoring every invite my sims get to go to the festivals as I’ve always enjoyed them a lot and really would like to take my sims there again. So to repeat my heading, is it safe to go to San Myshuno?
Fridge doesn’t work
So i’ve had this problem with all of my saves, i’ll have my sim on the brink of death starving and unable to use the fridge. i’ve replaced fridges, put fridges in the middle of the room and much more but nothing gives. also my sim can’t use the stove sometimes? not really sure why this is happening i’d love a fix for it
Sims stuck in loop
After about 10 minutes of gameplay, without warning my game will crash. It wont close, or send a report, but my sims will freeze in place and I cannot leave my household screen or close the game like normal. My sims will keep repeating an action (like turning their head) over and over, time will not progress, I cannot pause or fast forward time and if i enter Build/Buy they continue to move in their repetitive action way. I do not play on Legacy sims, I am on Mac, I play with mods but I check for updates before every gameplay. I have tried repairing the game and deleting my localthumbcache file, but it just keeps occuring and is making gameplay exhausting.Sims can't cook. Blue feet icon pops up as if they are blocked by something.
When I try to get my Sims to use the stove, the icon indicating that something is stopping the sim from moving pops up (blue feet with red x). I tried this with different Sims and households, and it still does not work. I tried buying a new stove, getting a new stove, getting more counter space to cook, and increasing the space in front of the stove. Nothing works. Uninstalled CC, and it still did not work. Repaired my game, and it still does not work. Help!!!!Game play will not load
Hello! So the sims 4 is not letting me play the game. I am able to make a sim no problem but everytime I go to load a plot to actually start playing with a sim I create the load screen will appear but it won't go past it, it's like it frozen or something. Also when I restart the game it deletes the sim I created. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
