Using better exceptions
I'm currently trying to use better exceptions by twisted mexi to find broken mods in my game. I don't have twisted mexi's patreon so I'm turning to here. The problem I am having is with it showing this on the chrome page. The game itself is freezing after trying to buy a house for the first time pictured in second photo. It's an entirely new save file, the game has been repaired numerous times and re installed. All script mods have been removed. Any help would be appreciated.
Relationship Trouble (lol)
Hello & pls help!! I'm having an issue possibly with the Lumpinou mod, but I also have adult mods installed. I want my sim to propose to my other sim but I am not getting an option to. I've redownloaded the lumpinou relationships overhaul and that didn't fix it. It's only giving me the option to "ask to be friends" or mentor... they have broken up before so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it either. Also, on the relationship overhaul menu in game, I'm not able to see all of the interactions anymore, has this happened to anyone else? Thanks!!! <3
Sims can't sit on chairs or sofas (mod related problem) after update.
Hi! I'm experiencing problem after February 3, 2026 update, where my sims can't sit on the chairs or sofas, only on beds and bar chairs. My Last Exception is telling me (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'expected_kwargs') and last exception assistant tells me "outdated tunable resource error and outdated tunable resource (interaction) requires removing" how I can find the mod causing this, I have tested probably all my biggest mods and have updated most of them aswell and also tested some smaller mods, but the problem is still there. (All of these are tested one by one or updated and are not causing the problem.)Mods
Hello, I have a problem with mods, it's been here for around an year or more. The problem is my mods folder doesn't update. It means that whenever I download a new mode, it doesn't show up in game. Same with deleting, when I delete a mode it also isn't deleted from game. I already even tried uninstalling the game and downloading it again but nothing changed, my old mods are still here. I also tried fixing the game countless times and still nothing.career issues
It seems the update came with quite the amount of issues. I didn't see anyone report that yet but on my hand i'm struggling with careers that use the same the logic as the freelance career meaning those that are not rabbit holes and where the job itself is to complete some tasks: social media career, critic & stylist. Everytime i will chose the " stay home " option for their work instead of them going, my sims will do the tasks but it will show in the work section like it didn't, the same happens when they're in the freelance career ( as i said every career using the same logic ) . I did everything possible to make sure it wasn't caused by a mod, removed all my mods, deleted all saves ( i started playing sims4 on my PC with mods very recently ), started again ( deleted the cache before relauching the game ofc ) , played 2 different careers with 2 different sims on different lots , did that like twice probably and it's the same result so, is there anyone struggling with that so i can be 300% sure this is not my fault though i can't do much now ?Career panel not loading
Sul Sul! I’m experiencing an issue where, when I select a Sim and navigate to the Career/Job panel (where work days and hours are normally displayed), the information does not appear at all. The panel loads, but no job details are shown. I’ve tried searching to see if this issue has been reported by others, but I haven’t been able to find any similar reports. I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem or if there’s a known fix.
Sims 4 is stuck on infinite loading screen?
I have a Dell Inspiron 14 Laptop and I am trying to play TS4 and for some reason it isn't working, I was stuck on the loading screen that comes before the main menu screen and wasn't able to close it. I had to use task manager to close it, and I had reset my computer because for some reason task manager also isn't closing it. I just tried to reopen and now it is doing the same thing. I am not tech smart at all so if anyone knows why this is happening, any advice or tips would help!
Need help with my game (new update broke it...)
Hi, I updated my game today after not having played for only a week or so and when I did, the game became unplayable. When I load into a game, it looks like this: And I can't do anything. If I try to go to a different household, the UI disappears completely. I do play with mods and I'm sure it has to do with that. I enabled my mods like I usually do after an update and this happened. I tried for hours to fix it but to no avail and I don't really know where or who to turn to. It looks like that for pretty much every household. Has anyone seen this before and knows how to fix it? Thank you so much
