Grim Reaper event rewards keep resetting
I've now restarted the Grim Reaper event multiple times on my PS5 ... and as much as I enjoy gardening in the Sims, planting lilies and snapdragons over and over again is starting to get a little old. Why this is happening, I have no idea, but every time I save and leave the game, my event progress resets like I haven't done any of the tasks. My physical progress is still there, in that the points still show on the Grim Reaper event UI, I still have the reward items in my inventory, etc., but it's like it doesn't remember how I got there. I've noticed that there's a lot of attention being paid to this issue on PC, and several bug fixes have even been found already. Is anyone working on this from the console end of things?
Building and Create a Sim Bugs
Since the update I installed yesterday, the process of building buy and creating a sim has been difficult. When it comes to building, when I click on sections (e.g., flooring), I either get kicked out of the menu, or the items are invisible, and my cursor can't click on any item. For creating a sim, whenever I click on an item, I get kicked out of the item menu, or my cursor is unselected, and I have to move it around like a mouse pad. This is very frustrating and difficult on my end, and I wonder if anyone else is facing this problem. If so, have you been able to fix this, or is this a bug I have to live with until it gets fixed with a new update?
My sims 4 won't start
So my sims 4 on my xbox one console won't allow me to enter the game since the update. No matter what I do the game won't register when I press the A button to start. I have tried literally everything. Things I have already tried multiple times would include: Resetting the game, resetting the console, resetting the controller, hard resetting the console, troubleshooting the Xbox one (no errors appeared and said all was fine with the Xbox multiple times) Therefore this is definitely a bug with the game, I spent years playing this game and I love it. So it absolutely breaks my heart when I can't even get the game to open to play the event. Since I am on an Xbox one console I can't use the same troubleshooting as a PC player. Please look at this issue and see if you can find a solution for it as it has rendered my game completely unplayable.
Buttom X doesn’t react
I need your help. I want to play “The Sims 4” on PS5. So I installed everything and download the game. But I can’t play! Evertytime I open the game, you have to press the button x to start playing. I can’t press it, it doesn’t react. But the problem is not the controller. In the playstore or while I was installing other games the button x worked perfectly. I also reseted the controller multiple times . I download the sims 3 times, but I still have this problem. Maybe someone can help me pls.
Sims 4 PS4 saves disappeared
I'm playing on playstation 4 and for some reason my Save file disappeared, I have never seen this before, I played everyday this week and the only day it keeps saving is August 12. I even try making a new save but it disappeared and I can't even repair it because I don't have that option on playstation 4. Is there anything I can do the next time I make a new save?
New Update Deleted All of My Save Files
I just hopped on my Xbox One to check out the most recent updates and found that every single save file has been deleted. All downloaded content, thousands of hours of world-building and gameplay over the years - gone. What is this nonsense? Can they even attempt to fix this or am I permanently deleting this game? I’m pissed off beyond belief.Still unable to upload Library to the Gallery.
Hello, I've been using the sims 4 on ps5 and have been having this problem for a month now. Was really hoping this last update would have fixed this issue! It has not. It will not allow me to upload anything to the gallery. Instead it only uploads to the library and now after trying several times it will not even do that and just show a buffering wheel 24/7. There is no way to back out and closing the game is the only option. The only fix I have found in the past month is clearing the cache of uploads/downloads since mine have been error messages for at least 2 years. Not sure what causes that issue either. Clearing that is now doing absolutely nothing so not sure what to do. Really ruins that aspect of the game for me. It may be situational. Other things might be going up just fine. Perhaps it's this one lot atm. It's been just sims for me previously. I make only sims and upload them, but have had this problem sporadically. It's a rental lot size: 40x30 and it has 5 units. I obtained this lot from the gallery and am just uploading a fixed play tested version of the lot. So I'm pretty sure size and amount of decor is not an issue since it was originally from someone's gallery. Please help...Xbox Game Pass User For The Sims 4
I'm an Xbox Game Pass user and I recently purchased the For Rent pack and just today the world it came with the screen goes white and the game is unplayable until I reboot my game pass app. And the world is inaccessible. Every other world is fine just that one I click on and it goes blank. It used to be fine until I started building apartment buildings. I don't know if I broke the game or if there's a bug but I'd appreciate if anyone else has this issue or knows what's going on. Thanks.xbox: Some packs i bought wont download
the day after the update i got onto resume my regular play to notice that it said i had numerous items uninstalled. first thing i noticed was all of my jewellery gone then noticed everything from that pack was gone so i checked my manage game and saw that that pack ( Crystal Creations) was installed so i tried again and the pack( Crystal creations) was in fact not there. so I've uninstalled the entire game and all packs and reinstalled everything.. but it will not download Crystal Creations Stuff Pack and the Street Eats Digital content now. My sims games has always played up but ive manged to play normally with avoiding the issues, now with the reaper event excited to play them as i have never made ambrosia... I log in and i have a pop up to tell me to log into my EA account, this happens often and i ussualy just get rid of it. When i get into game i notice that the pop up isnt on my screen, so i think its off to start with and i open up my current save to play with. I notice that the pop up on the side of the screen isnt even showing up. i exit my save and open up on my computer the Sims 4 webstie to try and figure out why, came to the conclusions i need to log into my EA account which makes total sense. However i have never been able to log into my EA account, i got to send the verification code, email is defiently right, and i have tried multipe different emails and never manged to work. i've been trying for an hour now but once you enter too many different emails it times you out for i think 24hrs so im lost in what to do. This is quite upsetting for conosle plays, i've only ever had one account on my xbox and so i thought it automatically linked to my microsoft account which it did not. I'm bothered by this yes, however i am switching to laptop in the next few weeks but that does mean missing out on the rewards (i think) I have checked every email folder possible Can anyone please help? I have tried contacting EA help, the haven't gotten back to me and its harder because they dont support console. What do i do?
The kit I just bought won't show up as purchased in CAS?
On PS4. The kit in question is Fashion Street. Bought it half an hour or so ago, after having updated the game patch. It shows up as purchased on the title screen, but once I load up a save file it refuses to show the items in CAS and says I don't own it in the tag filters. It's the only one doing this, so I'm thinking it could be related to the update? Any ideas on a fix? Have already closed and restarted the game a couple times, tried different save files, but it's still telling me it isn't purchased in CAS.
Ps5 not connecting to the EA Network or the internet
Loged on today excited to do the reaper rewards but the game keeps saying I am not connected to the internet my PlayStation says I am connected my internet is fine I double checked I'm very confused about what is happening there is no update I do not see any maintenance notice is anyone else having this problemGame failed and other issues
I just bought the “Eco Lifestyle” on Saturday Sept. 21, 2024 for Xbox and ever since I’ve purchased it I’ve been having problems with my game play. On Saturday it worked fine and then on Sunday this is when I started having problems. It wouldn’t allow my sims to travel back home after I took them to the restaurant for the free food at the restaurant holiday thing. It was stuck on the blue loading page for hours. My sims couldn’t go on a date at a restaurant because it wouldn’t allow them to reserve a table. Evict them and delete their old house and give them a different house next door, then when I loaded them to the new home it wouldn’t allow me to delete anything while in build mode. I also have a llama that’s stuck in the family inventory that I can’t assign to a shed. Monday it worked fine and now tonight it said about three times to reload the game because there’s an error with game play or something like that and again it’s stuck on that blue loading page. There’s plenty of room on my husband’s xbox and there’s no updates needed on the game. It sounds like there are major bugs associated with the “Eco Lifestyle”. Has anyone else experienced the same thing on there Xbox?
Save game to the wrong file
So I was playing the sims and I just realized. The household I’ve been working hard on that I loved. My other household was saved to it. So now it’s lost completely. Everything, I play on PlayStation and I’m not sure how to get it back. I’m so frustrated. That was my favourite household. Please help! I also don’t have PlayStation plus.Lost log in rewards
Logged on today to start the Reaper Rewards and found that the rewards from the last log in rewards had all vanished. Also When Haunted Residence is selected all hell breaks loose my sim freezes in one spot and does nothing commands interactions self care plummet. I finally got her to leave when prompted about a concert in abandoned warehouse and when she got back she was under sidewalk or something because she wouldn't respond to anything her to reset to get her back.
SIMS 4 deleted my saves twice-XBOX
So yesterday when I got on, it had been a while so there was about 1 or 2 updates that have happened so I don't know what caused it but all my saves were gone and it was trying to make me do the tutorials (which I haven't needed since 2018) Of course I was sad bc I lost some good games but I just decided to move on and made a new save to start with. But then I went to get on this afternoon and found that was ALSO deleted. I am now actually mad because it wasn't a glitch. Not only that but I lost everything in my library which was going back to when I first started playing and that makes me really sad. Has this happened to anyone else?
I can't access my gameplay on ps5
I've checked for updates, non. I've closed and opened the game, didn't work. I've restarted my ps, didn't work. This started at 10 pm on Thursday 19th of September. I've also tried to join the game from an old save and I can join my gameplay but when I try to go home, it won't work. It loads to a certain point and then just stops.
My Save data is corrupted and unplayable
Since the love struck emergency update I have not been able to load over 1000’s of countless hours of my save data. THIS IS TRULY UNACCEPTABLE. Since the most update 2 days ago I can’t even load my new recent save I made because I get a (my save data is corrupted. )It’s unplayable. Thank God I’ve made a save back up but won’t be able to play it until they fix this problem. I know that I can’t be the only person dealing with this on consoles. This issue needs to be fixed. They cannot continue to IGNORE THIS
Stuck in a load screen
Since the Update yesterday, I get stuck in a load screen. It will load to the main menu, I hit resume it will load the neighborhood I select the household I want to play and then just loading screen... I turned off network and reloaded the game and that works, but as soon as I reconnect it tells me that there's new content and I can't use it until I restart...so I do and it's a repeat... help? Anyone else having this issue?
Tired of Crashing
I’ve been playing one of the scenario games, the Nova Curious scenario. And it’s been great, running smooth. Really nice house, promotions. Once she had those things established I decided to try out the adopt feature so she could venture out. Worst decision ever. Ever since I adopted the infant; constant freezing, constant crashing, just so many issues. I don’t know if I’m the only one whose having issues with their world since adopting a child but whatever bug this is, in this feature… needs fixed because I can’t even play this world anymore at all..Lovestruck still broken. I purchased love struck yesterday on Xbox series X.. I have probably have 85% of packs installed. After installing lovestruck yesterday my sims became unplayable. It just consistently crashed/freezing up. I tried hard resetting Xbox and uninstalling/reinstalling. Still the problem consisted. The last thing to try was to uninstall LoveStruck DLC… And now my game is back to normal but I wasted 40$. Why dosent ea have people to test the dlc? I mean real sim players on all platforms😒betas or something.. Requesting a refund nowXbox keeps crashing continually after Lovestruck install
Been playing on and off but since love struck came out but it keeps force closing it's so unpredictable when it will happen. I have cleared cache and the problem is still persistent. I just wanna explore the expansion pack but unable to its unplayable. Any ideas? For context I have did the power button cache clean and also the option via settings to clear it still force closing....All my saved datas has been deleted.
Hello everyone, Iyesterday I played the sims and saved. Today when I started the game the whole game I level I reached has disappeared. As if I have never played it before. I keep loading my game on my older Xbox One S and it keeps loading as if it's new, I have to restart the game to get my saves and even the shop to load. I reinstalled ALL packs I own plus Base Game and started it up AFTER shutting down my Xbox for half an hour. The game already takes minutes to load on my Xbox and now I have to double load it in order to even play it. It also resets all my personalized settings like adding the button mapping and help tips I've turned off I have to turn them off every time I load the game. This last time it crashed before I could reload it after it loaded as if I've never played it and I've had it installed since it was put on EA Play for free years ago.Packs
I play sims on my Xbox 1 series x and I have alot of packs bought. When I go to manage game and add ons it shows all the packs which I have bought but in the actual game it only shows a few of them and it doesn't acknowledge that I have bought other ones. I have factory reset my Xbox and i don't have any other accounts just this one and I don't know what to do.
PS5 - selection too fast
Usually when selecting social interaction or action command, or purchase it's fine. Every once and a while, I feel like I click something that makes the selection way too fast. Let's say you want to select Kiss; when you go to highlight the command, it is extremely hard to get the cursor to high light the desired command because it's zipping around. I feel like it's on me, like I did something similar to accidently selecting "Sticky Keys" on the keyboard. Sometimes I can correct it, by selecting either live or build (depending on where it's doing it), but other times I have to save and quit (which in itself, the too fast to select thing makes a challenge) and reboot the PS5 to get it to stop. A. Does anyone have any idea what I did to cause this? B. Is there away to fix it, without rebooting the game/PS5.All saves going to autosave and keeps going back to a previous save.
So last night, my game broke. All my saves were saving as autosave and I couldn’t make a new save and rename it. When opening any save, the game would keep going back to the same day and time. I never found a solution for this and I know others have had the same issue. The only way I’ve found a solution for this is to save absolutely everything from your game(households, houses and buildings) to your gallery and start a new game and then place everything exactly as it was. I get this will be super annoying to you all but it’s the only work around I’ve found so I can play my game again. I’m now able to save different save files and play as normal. Just bear in mind that you will lose relationships with sims that you have previously interacted with apart from household sims and there will be new game quests. I really do hope there is another solution to get this solved for the rest of you but for me, I’ve just gone ahead and done this and deleted all my older save files. My kid has been spending their Allowance since this game first came out. They have spent hours, upon hours, upon hours and so much of their own money, to buy 63 dlc packs. Almost every big pack there was until the most recent. They only had a few left to purchase. They were going back on to get back into the game and had planned on purchasing the rest of the collection. Everything is gone and they are devastated and frustrated beyond belief. The Sims has been a big source of their joy and a big part of their life, as they doesn't get out much. It might seem like just a game and no big deal, to most people, but they devotes a ton of time to all the intricate details and designs incredible buildings. A year before 2020 they became partly agoraphobic. The Sims is what kept them occupied and happy. Please tell me that there is someway to fix this. It's horrible enough that all their work has been lost, but to lose all the packs and content too, it's too much. We were really looking forward to watching them play the Halloween pack on Halloween. All my save slots changed to autosave and goes back to the last time it saved which was 21st August, I keep trying but it never saves. Ive lost game play so there is no point in playing at all until this bug is fixed. Ive tried offline still the same. Cleared cache etc nothing helps. I have every pack. I am really upset i have played sims 4 since the start and never had this happen before.
New Content Installed
I recently started experiencing this, and haven't been able to enjoy a game without it freezing my Playthrough and popping up. Constantly. I have restarted my router and that gave me just a one day fix, uninstalled the sims and reinstalled it, turned off my power block and turned it back on. Nothing. It's still happening. It has also being disconnecting my Xbox Live and saying it has something to do with my internet but I checked my internet connection, and nothing is out of place? I just installed the Sims 4 on my new (for me) Xbox One. However, every time I run the game, it acts like I'm opening the game for the first time (has me accept the terms, adjust screen, tutorials are reset). My save game remains, however. Any idea what's going on? Update: The issue resolved itself. I believe it may have been a result of my saving and existing to the main menu before closing the game once.Game is unplayable
Hi so I play the sims 4 on Xbox series x and it’s been fine up until two days ago. I was updating my sims house and I had almost finished when suddenly I hear a buzzing noise and then the screen went black then dashboarded me to Xbox Home Screen. Every time I’ve tried to play it the same thing happens when I’ve selected what family I want to play! It’s unplayable and I have all the dlc so mad that I can’t play. This needs fixing asap! I downloaded lovestruck midway through a family I’ve been playing (sent the daughter to uni and then bought lovestruck) (also want to add I use cheats, NOT MODS), and now my sim goes invisible, the interaction system is invisible, my sim keeps repeating the ‘celebrate celebrity’ action because her mum is a global superstar level, I can’t even access the cheat interaction system because it’s also invisible, I can’t reset my sim. My game has gotten extremely slow and laggy and I just really want to save this without having wasted my money or have to delete all of my saves, if anyone can help or needs more detail PLEASE ASK. I just want to fix this, EA do better when releasing a pack
