PS4 glitches with season and age
I have restarted my ps4, I have checked for updates, I have even deleted the game and redownloaded the game. My seasons are not working it will say it’s on day seven and never change, it’s raining everyday even tho it’s on winter and when I leave my lot it’s snow everywhere else. And the house is always cold where they wear their coats even tho there is a thermostat. On top of going into options and game play it will not let med turn off the aging or adjust life span, I even tried it with the cheat code and it still does not work. Small things like not being able to drag things to the trash can or sink doesn’t work anymore either, I have a couple that is married yet the prompts says ask to stay the night and other weird ones as if they are not married and live together. I’m not a play all the time person I get in once in a while. And I’m very sadden the past two days have not been enjoyable I had to stop play because there’s too many glitches.Please help
Hi, can we please get a better saving system please. I always save frequently but since the new update almost every time I save the game crashes, its really not making me wanna play as im loosing loads of progress. Im on ps5, and tips to get this problem to go away would be appreciated. Thanks in advanceps5 problems
had so many problems with all of the updates lately i can’t play at all. firstly i’ve tried to open the game and it lets me get to the family bit before the loading screen but then it just gets stuck on the plumbob. i’ve tried multiple times but won’t let me access the game. then tried deleting the game and reinstalling everything which finally it let me in but then says stuff like game content has been deleted or not available. i can see some of my builds have been deleted and replaced with the original buildings on the game and most of my family have no clothes or hair so i think the problem is coming from the packs i have installed. but im on playstation so have no mods installed and its so frustrating because i haven’t been able to play for like a month and im worried that if i do play (rebuild my houses or family’s) that either it will get fixed and it will be for nothing or i fix it and it wont save. plus i dont think ill be able to fully fix eveything right at the moment anyways considering my sims are bald and naked gives me the impression that the packs i have bought aren’t currently in my game/ not working. anybody else having the same problem and have any advice?Sims are void black and Xbox store bugged
Bought the new pack and have been playing it in game, bonus items missing. I get a pop up when I load sims to “buy now” I checked the store and it says for me to buy it? Also my darker skin toned sims have turned completely void black. I’ve tried to remove the tattoos and change skin colour, nothings worked. Everything is extremely slow and buggy. I’m more worried my sims that are bugged will be completely broken and why is the store telling me to buy a pack I’ve bought..Xbox is unplayable since the update
Not sure if any other Xbox players are having any of the same issues but my game is unplayable after the update, I have no mods installed and not too many packs, mostly small ones at that. Create a Sim has deleted my entire household twice upon adding a third sim and adding a new sim sometimes erases all the information, aspirations and personality traits from all other sims and changes the names of all Sims. Sims will randomize unprompted in the middle of working on them, catalog is mostly inaccessible, and as of a couple minutes ago the zoom feature no longer works and I can't zoom in or out or rotate sims, nor edit certain features or use detailed edit mode at all. Build/Buy mode will delete items at random from any pack or base game, lot type will randomly switch up on selecting rooms or placing flooring or wallpaper, and twice I've logged in after double and triple checking that I've saved, it says the correct time that I saved, but nothing will have saved when I load it back up. Items will vanish minutes after they're placed, but there's no consistency in the type of item, the pack, or the time since they were placed. In some cases entire rooms disappeared while I was actively building. I've tried starting new worlds in case the save was the issue and all the problems persist in both BB and CAS, it feels like I'm fighting the game to be able to play it. I've never encountered any bugs so to suddenly have this many is baffling, if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know, I genuinely cannot fight the game anymore
Xbox One crashes during save
My game auto saves while on the world map. If I'm playing and try to save, it crashes. Started yesterday after all the updates. It takes an extremely long time to load the game now too, because I have 100 of them to load. lol First I load the game with internet on, then when it gets to the bar, I have to turn the internet off. Once it gets to the title page, then I turn the internet back on and wait for it to ask for a restart. Then I cross my fingers and wait to see if it crashes after restarting. If not then I can actually play but not save. Oh, and after I exit to game I have to enter 'Manage The Sims 4' and delete the reserve file. Turn off the Xbox One, and unplug it for at least 30 seconds to fully clear the cache. If I don't, the game repeatedly crashes when I try to start it. For now I'm just going to continue altering neighborhoods since the auto save for that is working. Anyone else on an Xbox One have to go through all this, and load it twice to get it to work at all? I'm seeing a lot of save problem reports for the Playstation, but couldn't find any recent ones for the Xbox One. I hope this gets resolved.Updates ruined my game
I play on Xbox. My TWO YEAR multi generational Sims family is GONE. I saved the main siblings in my gallery and attempted to play 3 times. Each time I have loaded them back into a new game and started playing, I can’t save anymore. I’m getting Error code 34 and the file consistently deletes. This last time I only loaded 2 of the families into their homes and the whole file wouldn’t save. So I let my daughter play her saved family and that was only one family - same thing. Error code 34 and the file was deleted. I didn’t spend over $2k on every expansion pack and kit to not be able to play. I own everything and I’m angry.
Major glitching makes game unplayable on PlayStation
After the last 3 updates the game has gotten more unstable. Since the latest update, everytime I click on a saved household the game/whole screen glitches making the game unplayable. I can't move, click on anything or even use the screen at all. I am playing the game on PS4.Constantly repeating Error code CE-113505-5 in the downloads Playstation 5.
Also some of my add ons have the shopping Icon on them even though I own them. I think it's an account problem? I've tried absolutely everything on my end and nothing fixes this. Completely deleting and reinstalling everything, wiping all my saves and library, renewing the license, clearing the PS5 cache/repair, and the problem continues.Toddler Sleep Issue
My toddler is not sleeping flat more of a 45° angle. They started after the second set of updates since the nature is calling event started. Has anyone had this issue? I have woke the toddler up and put her back to sleep multiple times. I may also try to reload a lot to see if that helps.Unable to access the live events
Hi, I have been unable to login to EA to use the features like the live tasks, for example the new Nature one or the Reaper Rewards etc. I tried to contact the help desk before about this and was told that they would need to reset my blocked account(not sure why it was blocked). Please can you help as I'm missing out on so many extra features. I have attached the popups that appear when I try to login or load the computer. Hi I don't know if I'm supposed to download this patch for what? Or if it installed itself in the game? I do have my Xbox sent to automatically update but when I went on the Sims 4 homepage I see that it says both that the base game has been updated and that there was a place to push for that update and then it showed the patch and said there was a place to tap for that every time I click on either of them it just takes me to Microsoft Sims 4 page explaining what's in the patch. Or explaining what's in the update. I hope this patch got in my game cuz it is acting crazy and I really love Sims it helps me.Lost my packs when I used the same disk I used on my other Xbox.
Basically I have a "living room" Xbox and a "Bedroom" Xbox. when I first got my bedroom xbox I downloaded Sims by using the same disk I use in my living room. I got it signed in with the same account i used in the liveing room (theres 2 accounts that use sims 4 in the liveing room) It recognized i owned all the packs i did so i downloaded them in the bedroom xbox, but unfortunately it took away my packs in the living room xbox. So I re-downloaded the packs in the living room, it split the packs I dont feel its fair and I should have the packs I bought on bolth the Xboxs because it was on the same disk. The packs that got tooken from me are, Grow Together, Eco LifeStyle, Island Living, City Living, ParentHood, Tiny Living, Laundry Day, Toddler, Kids Room, Book Nook Kit, Blooming Rooms Kit, Bust The Dust Kit, & Coutry Kitchen Kit. I've always loved this game but that truly bummed me.
